Think of this...You can order food on your phone and have it delivered...so you don't have to go anywhere...

My opinion about tip number 7 is that if you will be saving money for a long time (say for example a year or 6 months), it would be better to put it in a non-transparent container with a narrow/small opening so you wouldn't be tempted to get some cash from the container. (sorry about my English)

Here is what I do (I have no self control when it comes to spending money and it even works for me). At the beginning of each year I set aside a milk carton. I use a milk carton so I can’t break into it or get the money out through the hole. In the carton I put birthday money, Christmas money, Easter money, extra cash, etc and save up for a year. At the end of the year I break open the carton and go shopping with all the boxing week sales :) so yeah! That’s how I do it.

Some tips I recommend doing( that I do) 1. Every time you are paid in cash go to the bank (or if your to young; to your parents) and cash out for bigger bills. This always causes me to not use the bigger bills as much because I feel guilty spending too much money, so it's easier to keep my money because I don't have many bills that are under a 50 or 20 because I'm always cashing them out. 2. If your saving up for something expensive, every time you are paid put an amount of money off to the side ( doesn't matter how much) and have two or more separate money "piles", one that can be used for every day life and the other for the item you are saving up for, etc. The piles will allow you to spend the money you have saved up for that item when you have enough and you'll still have money left over and you won't be broke! 3. make sure you really want something before you buy it, unless it is a necessity. You don't need everything you want and in reality you might not even use it for that long before you don't like it anymore. Hopefully these tips help you in managing your money! 💜

Go through all your stuff and instead of giving it to charity (as good as it may feel), sell it! Facebook often has local Buy and Sell groups for your town and neighboring towns. Yes, charity is good, and don't bite my head off for not donating it to charity, but if you are really desperate, you can sell old pants for like, $1 each, and shirts for $1 each, and jackets for $2 each, shoes for $3 each (maybe $5, people might ask you how low you will go and you can say how low you'll sell for). You can also make things and sell them. Have seasonal sales! That will rope in a LOT of people. Being a young entrepreneur can really get people to buy your stuff. Everything from homemade birthday cards to growing flowers can get you money. Sell old toys! As a teen, you won't really play with toys. Sell them, unless you have a real emotional attachment. Do you mow the lawn for your neighbors? Cool! Winter? Shoveling! All through the year? Babysitting, dog walking, petsitting. Some elderly neighbors might pay you more than younger people, too. I have a system, too. I do chores around the house and get paid at the end of the month. I put some to savings, some to spending, and also have seperate funds for things I really want that aren't exactly cheap (Warrior Cats box sets, harry potter books, and other things). I have a little tiny cardboard box and put in $2 a week, along with daily pocket change. Once you're of age for a job, there's all your money-making struggles, gone. Just save money and don't spend it all at McDonalds, Walmart and Starbucks :)

Tip 1: bring your own food! I have and always will bring my own food. Even tho in my school we bring our own food but later on in high school and middle school, they are cafeterias. But please don’t buy lunch. Tip 2: in my family we don’t get money from chores, but my parents (if I tell them I am saving up for something they help me.) if you don’t get money from chores, then I recommend tell you’re parents that you are saving up for something, then ask if they can help. If they say no it’s okay, try doing other types of money earning stuff. Selling items and old clothes/toys/electronics: try selling stuff on internet or in your neighborhood maybe someone will buy. Or in the summer, sell cold lemonade or in the winter, sell hot chocolate. Tip 3: DO NOT SPEND MONEY!! Do not spend your money on useless things or things like junk food or candy. You can make your own food at home. You can help your parents make food so you can practice making food. In my school we have a “food making” class so we bake and make other stuff. 4th grade and 6th grade are those who do it. In middle school I think 9th grade (my country). Tip 4: NEVER give up :) if you feel like it’s gonna take a while, NEVER give up. If you give up then you will never reach your goal. One thing that will help is make a reminder of yourself like in notes or in an journal (I would probably make it in my notes or in my bullet journal). Or anything.

Love these encouraging videos! I make $11 an hour and I’m able to save a couple hundred dollars a month! It’s crazy what you can do when you put your mind to it!

This was actually super helpful. I’m saving up for a G-7X camera for photography and making videos for fun. Another tip if you buy something take the change and use the larger amount of money and save it in a seperate jar to the coins. I did this for about a year and I saved up $100 using the change from school orders or just other stuff.

Ashlynn Paige i work at bojangles for 8.50 an hour and work 8 hour shifts. i put away 100 every week and sometimes more if i dont get my hair done. during the school year i work 3 days every week which is 204$ and 360 for 5 days in the summer .ive got 3,560.47in my account rn.. my goal is 10,000 you got this ...work hard and dont waste cash good luck

It's Meg yep any fast food or retail job.. download snagajob if ur 16+ and find a job in ur area. just save save save i bought my car 1,000 down pluse 500 for insurance but there are 500 down cars also but everytime u get paid split it in half and save half or the whole thing just dont touch it. it they aren't giving you the hours you want pick up another job. my first job was at ihop ... i was also a server so i made tips. think about how much you'd like to save and a dead line.

Me i only got €24

so far I've saved up $140... I got 100 from babysitting and i recently earned 40 by teaching and helping my siblings learn during quarantine... I really hope i won't spend it on anything useless edit: also im saving up 20$'s so i have 7 $20 bills :) also i'm thirteen 😄

i- LUCKY!!! I baby sit like every day some weeks and I don't get paid- not mentioning when I clean the whole house. I am 13 in 2 days too, but the only way I make money is through YT.

few issues 1. i don't get paid for chores 2. the job i wanted was stole by my cousin (walking dogs) 3. i get £10 a month but it's on my card 4. my lunch money is online and only costs at most about £2.20
