Martial Eagle Attack Lizard
In this video, a Martial Eagle appeared to be surfing on the back of a monitor lizard in the Kruger National Park in South Africa, as it exited the water standing on top of the reptile, but when the surfing session was over, the lizard realized that the teacher was no teacher, but instead it was a chef, ready to try a new recipe of which the lizard was the main ingredient. A Martial Eagle, Africa's biggest eagle, flies carrying a monitor lizard it caught for its next meal. The person filming this video was in Kenya's Tsavo West National Park, primarily to film hippos when he witnessed this incident. Africa is full of these brief, special moments, that live on forever once they are recorded.
The martial eagle in this video caught a monitor lizard and was waiting for it to die, so it could fly off with it to go feed its offspring that was crying out for food in the distance. The encounter lasted about thirty minutes before it was over. The Martial Eagle is the largest of the African eagles, and it can knock an adult man off his feet. The Martial eagle weighs nearly 14 pounds and has a wingspan of about 6 feet 4 inches. It measures 32 inches in length. The upper body is dark brown, with a white belly with black streaks, and white legs with very large talons. The immature bird differs greatly from the adult. The martial eagle in this video flies away with a monitor lizard under its talon.
Eagle Catches A Duck
An eagle snatches a duck on the fly and lands on the riverbank, where white snow covers the ground. It’s a simple hunt for the bird of prey, and now, all that’s left to do is kill the duck. In this video, you can clearly see those bald eagles hunt for more than just fish on the river, and we see here that the initial catch was made by a juvenile! Impressive! But this is another perfect illustration of the challenges that juveniles face, as they hone their skills, as the young predator ultimately loses its catch to an adult. One thing is for certain - you don't see bald eagle action like this every day. An eagle can be seen attacking a duck and her ducklings swimming on a lake, and although the eagle comes up empty the first time around, it manages to snatch one duckling on the second attempt.

There's no cruelty here just a 'creator' proving how little they understand about us and nature.

What's quite disturbing is that the babies in the nest will often turn on each other!!! Especially if the Parents have difficulty supplying adequate food! Quite often, a slightly weaker sibling will be killed and eaten by the other!
My favorite is a goose family that protects there children. 😊
Can't imagine being in the claws of an eagle about to get eaten alive!

I was sitting in my car in the parking lot in suburban st Louis at daybreak one morning when a kestrel (?) landed about 10, 15 feet from my car under a tree. In its claws was a completely helpless fairly newborn bird. It stood there momentarily, eyes darting around consciously. It proceeded to jump up and down, stomping on the hapless victim 10 to 15 times. The kestrel stood still momentarily, then flew off. Rather amazing experience. At this very moment, I can almost feel the eye contact with that baby.😮
Some of these attacks were instigated by the bird's handlers, if you noticed the tethers on some of the birds

If eagles look cruel, human beings are more cruel, they kill cattle, birds, fish , sheep etc to eat and kill elephants for their tusks for artifacts and feet to make ashtrays , kill seals to make coats, kill sharks for their just to make soup and kill rhino only for its horn. Human beings even kill others for body parts.

At least humans make sure their prey is dead before they start to eat it…..not so with the birds of prey.
Actually golden eagles can fly at a speed of 322 kph then diving and 320 then flying.
Instead of the person filming the poor house cat that was attacked they should have been out there protecting it

I cried because I have two cats in my house if I saw a eagle trying to kill my cat I will not be filming and instead I’ll be running and screaming at that eagle Idc if I get a few scratches or lose an eye I love my cats!

It's up to the cat's owner to keep it inside if there's a danger an eagle will swoop. Otherwise it's fair game

I mean killing is cruel regardless of what it's done for. Not that I really care either way since I eat meat and willing to kill for it, but I just wanted to point out how dumb you sound calling someone ignorant, especially with your grammar. Just because it's nature doesn't make one being killing another any less gruesome or cruel looking when someone with a weak stomach sees it happen. Interpret nature your way let others have their own opinion, you're no dictator even though you're dumb enough to be one.
