I wish I could do that, my min pin just thinks he owns the place and growls and barks at every moving object, we don't even get our newspaper on time anymore, the news guy is petrified

My 11 year old min pin is so spoiled that there are no words that excite her anymore. Shes needs to see action. If i pick up her leash she knows its game on but asking her to go for a walk is beneath her all of the sudden... Want a treat? Doesnt even turn her head, but when i open the treat drawer shes front & center... I love my lazy, mean , little weirdo!!

WOW...Gio is one talented & CUTE little guy...At this very moment, I'm being "attacked" by two playfully rambunctious, baby Min Pins' who are (being fostered) "rescue" sisters...They're simply ADORABLE & always making us laugh about SOMETHING...Throughout the day we can be heard saying things like, "Dixie, stop biting Trixie's tail"..."Trixie, get Dixie's (a tiny runt) head out of your mouth"..."Stop chasing each other up & down the hall dragging the puppy pads along with you, after shredding them"..."Hey, girls"..."Stop biting my toes, my nose, my ears & my hair"...& after about 2 dozen consecutive "NO's," (stubborn little girls) I say, "It's naptime," & they get all sweet & cuddly with me...snuggling under the covers or on top of each other... One thing's for sure...These sweet little girls are going to make such great family pets when they're adopted although I'll cry when they leave & miss them for a very long time...Then the phone will soon ring again, & I'll be welcoming another lonely & innocent, little (or sometimes BIG...HaHaHa) dog that needs temporary love & shelter until his "Forever Family" is found... *: )* BTW, Gio looks so happy...

One thing now one ever told me, was how smart these little rascals are, our boys is almost 3 month old, and he knows sit, stay, lay down, place, and all the names of his many toys. Its crazy, mega smart breed!!!!

My two min pins are 5 months and they can sit and stand. One of them can spin, very cute. They’re learning how to lay down but they know when it’s bed time. VERY hyper dogs and they’ve learned to stop chasing our chickens!

My mini-pinscher does the 12/13/14. He freaked me out one day when he just suddenly stood up on his hind legs and started walking to the kitchen like a human would. I almost fainted! LOL

great... i hope i can teach mine 😂😂😂 I have 2 years old min pin male. and right now i created a channel to share his videos 😁

My 7yo min pin, Lilly, does sit, shake, roll over, high five, bark, jump, catch, fetch, start your motor (growl), talk to me (bark/whine), which hand is treat in (smells and puts her paw on correct hand), stick em up! (Paws in air), go look (runs to a window), listen (puts ears up), stay (unless she is outside lol). But the smart/funny thing is....she will NOT do a trick unless she knows you have the treats!!! Lol. We cannot get her to do "bang" or treat on nose. She knows so many of our words we can just kinda talk to her like a child. Most intelligent dog we've ever had.

Min pins are pretty smart, I was thinking of training mine to catch, and he ended up teaching it to himself....don't even know how he figured that out! They're so food orientated I think they're quite eager learners as long as they know there's a treat somewhere in it lol

Good work we have for many pins and they're hard to train one thing one of our many pins does is when he urinates he doesn't standing on his front paws and then he moves away from the tree walking on his front paws it's really funny anyway good work

to do that i put a tasty treat under a doormat or small rug then i waited for him to scratch at the rug and before he could put his nose under the mat i gave him another separate treat before he could get the treat under the mat then i waited for him to repeat this several times and then i started working in the word wipe and eventually he put two and two together

Well Mike, Gio is now 10 years old, so four years ago he was six. To achieve this level of discipline it took about two years.

Cool dog. I use to bound the ball off the wall and watch my little pincher slip and slide on the floor.

I wish I could get our min pins to do that

My dog waits for food to drop before he eats it. He doesn’t know how to catch 😂😅 Buuuut my min pin knows how to sit, lay down, speak, howl (or sing?), “show me,” get out, get down, etc. pretty standard stuff... 😂

lol, start by dropping it over your dog's mouth with something light like popcorn. when your dog gets used to that then you can start to throw heavier foods from farther away

Training takes patience ,each trick 10 to 15 minutes a day for about a week, award the dog with treats...

My min pin is so funny when she walls on her hinlegs.. she's self taught her one tricks.. she jumps, spins she's turning 2 this year.. I can't believe time has went by so fast.. she's super funny.. never a dull moment with her and she's is smaller then this dog her face is cute and small she has bottom eyes I call them lol.. her body is long but her head is small..lol

Oh my, minpin owner here and we do that too! The only difference is mine does rhose whenever she wants and she dont need ko words from me and looks at me like "It's my life, you dont get to tell me what to do. Roll over?? How bout I roll your ass back up to your room" and like... Ok

For tricks, I recommend you train with treats, and along those lines try to come up with a signal of praise (some people use a clicker). For me I tell him good job, give him a treat and I pat his back. These dogs love the attention and consistency is key. As far as biting and roaming are concerned I find that walking (or running) the dog in the morning helps to calm him down. Hope that helps, and good luck!
