When i was like 10, i called my mom on my cell phone. When she answered, i didn't hear her voice. I said, "Mom?" "Oh, you want your mommy?" It sounded almost demonic, so i thought it was my sister playing a prank. "Where's mom?" "Oh you want mom? You want your mommy?" That's when i hung up and saw that the number i entered wasn't there. It said 666-6666. I was SO scared. The creepy part is, when i told my dad, he said "oh that's weird." He didn't even have a big reaction, but i was soo scared. This incident stopped me from buying a new phone till i was 16. God that will haunt me. Don't believe me fine, but please tell me if this has happened to anyone else.

Here's a true scary story that actually happened, one day me and all the rest of my family were outside watching the sunset. I got thirst and decided to go get some water when nobody else was inside. So I got my water and was rummaging through the cabinets for a snack when I heard the sound of someone running behind me I turned around and saw a blur go into my room and I called out to see who it was and I got no answer so I went to investigate thinking that someone was just messing with me but nobody was In the room. I thought nothing of it and went back to my water only to hear it again but this time running into my brothers room so again I investigated his room and the bathroom next to it yet nobody was there. I went back into the garage and asked if anyone had gone inside...but nobody had... If I get 20 likes on this story I'll tell another true story.

I once saw an alien! It was really late at night when something came to my room and shouted "boooooooo". I froze. The alien's voice sounded like my friend's, who lives next door. The alien probably used it to sound more like a human. I tried to defend myself by throwing that big heavy book at his face. The alien ran away saying in his alien language: "AHU PHUQ THISHIT HERTZ". I never saw that weird creature again. The next day, I told my friend, the one who lives next door, my creepy story, and judging by that huge bruise on his forehead, he was visited too.

When I was, we lived with my grandparents. My parents and grandparents slept downstairs and my sister and I slept upstairs in the nursery. We had a "nurse maid" (we called her that later after hearing the term on tv). She was a very pretty lady in her mid-twenties named Violet. She never spoke, but we just knew that was her name somehow. She would sit in the rocking chair every night humming, never singing words, just humming. Sometimes she would hug us and finger comb our hair until we fell asleep, some times she would even rock us to sleep during a bad thunderstorm. I remember her just as real as any other adults in my life. I remember the feel and scent of her skin, the tone of her humming, tunes of her songs, and even the rhythm she would comb my hair. My sister and I legitimately thought she was a member of the family even though she never left the nursery, my parents assumed she was just an imaginary friend or a dream. Then after my grandpa died she disappeared. When I was about 10 my grandma, my sister, and I were looking though old family photos and we saw a black and white picture of Violet from 1943. Both me and my sister, pointed at it at the same time and said "That's Violet!" And my grandma, who wasn't even surprised, said "Yes, do you recognize her?" My sister said, "Of course, she was our nanny, wasn't she?" Grandma shook her head, apparently, my grandpa had a wife before my grandma, she was a very kind woman who loved kids and always wanted one. She had two miscarriages before her third pregnancy where she had finally made it to her third trimester, she was so excited and had been preparing the nursery for the baby when she went into pre-term labor and bled to death. But just because she couldn't have her own kids doesn't mean she wouldn't watch out for her husband's babies. My grandma would often see a mist hovering above my mom and uncle's cribs when they were babies, and they used to always talk about "Violet from the upstairs bedroom" when they were young as well. And even when my grandma was pregnant she would feel a warm, comforting embrace protecting her. She's convinced that Violet had stuck around to keep the new children safe. But then when my grandpa died she moved on to be with him.

I remember waking up a lot at night and seeing terrifying things. I would scream so hard that I actually wouldn't make a noise. Just a breathy sound. I don't remember any of these things besides one specifically which was me waking up to my mom standing in my doorway, watching me, motionless. She was an alcoholic and did a lot of scary things. Like this one time she was crawling on the floor towards my room once and started pushing on the door and reaching for the doorknob. I kept the door closed by pushing all my weight against it. There a tons of possible explanations for everything that happens just because it's not immediately clear doesn't mean ghosts and demons exist. I'm going to assume you're young well while you're young your parents say a lot of things that you take 100% serious when your parents didn't intend them to be taken like that. It's possible it was just a silly little ghost story he told. It's also possible in his sleepy state at night that's what he thought he saw, but it was some tail lights from outside reflecting off a few things while coincidently next door were trying to get their dog in for the night that was too happy playing in the back garden.

I can't blame you for the doubt since most popular media websites feed off of the lies of others but it could be possible he saw these stories and did the research for himself. I know for a fact that some of these stories where the perpetrator has been living in the same house could be true since cases like those have happened in several regions of the world. As for the ghostly encounters/demons, I personally believe in the existence of the supernatural but I don't believe they indeed to harm us all the time, only certain spirits under certain conditions can do that and, even then, they aren't that deadly, they only cause minor injury like scratches or bites and such. Truly evil spirits are usually demons or poltergeists and those are a rarity compared to the other types of paranormal beings out there. So while I can agree that some of these may be a bit out of the ordinary, there are cases similar to these where things happen and no one can really explain them. I'm not saying you have to believe me but you need to approach things like these with an open mind most of the time because you never truly know just how true these stories can be.

Once when i was 5 my brother said, "why does it smell like shit?" Thats when i realized i shit myself when i tried to just fart. I sprinted to the restroom and when i say down on my toilet shitting my brains out, a lizard bit my bum and crawled up my crack. I ended up pooping it out since i was pooing in the first place but then i started shitting blood. Only to realize it was blood from the bite. Scary huh?

With your story: this is just an idea of mine, but what if that little girl was the ghost of a child your mother had miscarried? That would explain her being similar in looks to your sister. I've always been paranoid about stuff like this happening to me. My house being old and creaky is not helpful. There's one really creepy thing that has happened to me multiple times though. I've had dreams where something random was happened like me kicking a small blue ball. A few years later, these things actually happen. As in exactly from my dream. People think I'm crazy when I tell them, but it's a true story.

Don't worry, same things happen to me. People think I'm crazy if I tell them what I seen or heard. Even I have very strange dreams that are telling me go look down in the basement, I have something waiting for you. Very creepy... There's even rumors going around that my place is haunted, and I thinks it's true. Because every time I wake up, It feels like as if someone's sitting at the side of my bed waiting for me to wake up and look up at them. Or even at the side of my eye I could see some black shadowy figure standing there looking at me. Going to move out as soon as possible when I go out for High School... I Hate it over here. >.>

This is a true story that happened to me back in 2012... I got into bed where all was fine until about midnight. I woke up to someone knocking on the front door. I went to look through the peephole but there was no-one there. The same knocking was heard on the window in my brothers bedroom. I ran to check on him, afraid of an intruder but no-one was there and there was no sign of intrusion. My brother was fine, so I went back to my room, when I heard rattling on my window. I locked the window and ignored it. I fell back asleep but at about 4am, I woke up to smell perfume. I knew it wasn't my parents perfume. It smelt like my grandmother's perfume. The only thing was... my grandmother died in 2007.... We have since moved houses

To me its quite nostalgic

It was my last year at my 70-year-old Elementary school, so we obviously had a grade 8 graduation and everything. After the graduation, I stayed behind to help clean up with my Language teacher, and she told me to hold on while she gets the scissors (there was tape and glue stuck to the walls). So I was left alone in the Gym, until the door opened, and in walked in a teacher I've never seen before. Since I only went to that school for a year, I thought it was a teacher I'd never seen before, or someone's guardian looking for their child. The guy was very old, and congratulated me for graduating, then said "You remind me of a student I had when this school opened." And I was surprised, and asked him who he was, and he said he was the founder of the school, and I got a chill down my spine and an uncomfortable feeling. Then, he just left the Gym, and when he opened the door, in walked in my Language teacher. He went right through her. I was so startled, I said that my mom asked me to come home right away, said goodbye, then ran away from that school. Maybe I was overreacting or didn't see stuff properly but whatever.

This one night I was hanging out with a few buddies just 10 minutes out of town, drinking a few beers and having a great fucking time. One of my buddies brought a friend from out of town though that none of us knew except for him. The guy from out of town went out into the forest to take a piss. Fucker was taking a while so I volunteered to go in and see if he wasn't eaten by angry Canadian moose, and couldn't find him, however I found his backpack opened, leaning against a tree and checked inside. I found morphine, barbed wire, a large army knife, a bottle of vinegar, and a hacksaw. Heard the bushes rustle, it was dark, so I took out my phone and put it on flashlight mode, could see what appeared to be the guy lying on the ground staring at me like a cat about to pounce. He said "Get away from my bag." I grabbed his bag and ran back to my group of friends, showed them the bags, and we all booked it out of there leaving the crazy fucker there. We called the police that night, they searched the area, but they could never fucking find him. Keep in mind this was a week ago. Last night I fucking heard aggressive pounding on my front door.

I have a scary story too. Once when I was 14 years old I was babysitting my 3 younger brothers while mom was at choir practice at night I was watching tv while my brothers were playing basketball in the driveway I heard a very distinct growl and my tv went static white. No more than 10 seconds later my brothers came in scared almost to death and said they'd heard the same and had also seen a horned humanoid creature in our tree outside . We decided to call mom and she didn't believe us but that night she said she had heard the same unearthly growl. The creature never showed his face after that night.

One time me and my friend was exploring down a flood plain and explored inside a big but small pipeline that connected the flood plains together, and started recording it on my phone. A ghost kid was telling my friend (he has like a sixth sense or some shit) is that they're hiding from somebody, then my friend sees 2 red eyes glowing in the dark. He ask the ghost what are the red eyes for, then the ghost tells him is that the ghost with the red eyes is actually a demon and that's why they're hiding. We ran outside fast as fuck to his house, and watched the video on my phone. The video contains a little ghost girl behind us that looked like she was sad about something/wanted a hug or something but that wasn't the demon that came after us.

I used to have this uncle named Larry (I was too young to really remember him). Anyways about a month before he died he told my parents 'When I die I'm going to haunt the shit out of you.' Stage four leukemia is what eventually killed him. Then less than a year later my mom's bed started violentley shaking in the middle of the night. She then screamed 'Stop it Larry !" and it immediately stopped. To this day we like to think that he still lives in our house and keeps out all the evil spirits. I believe in ghosts but I'm not sure if this story is true, but it gives me peace of mind.

Next story, I bet no one in these comments knows the horrors of chuckee cheese(is that how u spell it idk), I'm 11, so this is my point of view. The place was about to close down in 5 minutes, and we were still in, it was on our holiday. Then they started to close and I was in the bathroom, no one left cause they were waiting but then they took the mascots away. And shut down. We went down the back and saw a mascot, which seemed to move its head towards us(which petrified me) then the back door opened up and an employee took out the trash, but walked right through the bin. I almost pissed myself, but then something screamed in the building which was f***ing terrifying. But I had my 6 year old brother beside me... And my mum and dad. So he had pissed himself and our dad and mum were trying to get my brother away, but me being me I went straight in the open door, where a mascot just stood and stared at me, I backed away and it moved its hand to the door to close it so I ran out and to my mum (keep in mind I was 8) and told her that the animatronic had tried to close the door on me. But what still scares me to this day is the mouse, which had blood on its finger, I still think it was a back up of one, but it had blood. Unlike freddy fazbears pizzeria (ive been there too, and yes it's real) chuckee cheese had no records,of death or murder or even injury (other than once where a kid got trapped in an animatronics arm) in it. So blood?! I know it wasn't oil or juice because this one was brand new, no other marks or stuff, plus it still had tags on. Should I be worried that the mascot was also in my school randomly? It actually scared me to death when that happened since I live 14 hours(via airplane) away from the chuckee cheese. Even the head teacher was confused and all the teachers were too. But the next time I went to school it was gone. It was like FNAF, all I need now is a couple of shitty doors with lights and a tablet to check places in my house. XD

One day back when I was like 6 or 7, I had just gotten out of the shower. The door to the bathroom was open and right across the hallway was my room, door wide open. I had clear view of the window. Right outside my bedroom window was something staring right at me. I shit you not, it was almost the exact same thing as that gray alien creature that was in one of the stories in this video. Being on the second floor I had no idea how it was able to look into my window without falling. I was butt ass naked, staring back at this thing for about 10 seconds when I turned over to grab a towel. When I turned back it was gone. A few days later in the middle of the night I woke up. It was exactly midnight. For God knows why I looked over into my closet to find two light red eyes staring right at me. I covered my head with my sheets and went back to sleep. To this day I have no idea exactly what it was. So, what did you learn from reading this? That aliens are pedophiles...

Omg wow... here's to a night of no sleep.

Once I took a shit and when it came out there was this squeaky pop, and when I looked down there was nothing in the toilet. I don't know what to do, I can't go to the toilet anymore without getting super spooked. What was the squeaky pop? Why is someone taking my shit? What do they want with it, and why me? I need answers, I will not be scatalogically abused.

It's the same with me! Just to test, I shit my pants and it disappeared. if enyone finds it please return it back because I like to dry my shit and place it on a shelf with signs saying there names so I can stare at them for hours. If ANYONE finds it please tell me that it's in safe hands, I like to treat my shit with respect! I treat them like children and when they come out it feels like child birth! So why not. But because it disappears I can't put any on my shelf now so I "adopt" other people shits and treat them as my own. Ok I'll tell you the truth I steal your shit from your toilet c: I have about 19 of yours and it's okay they are in good shape. I polished them yesterday.

When I was a child of four or five, I guess I had an overactive imagination like most children did at that age. Anyhow, I had most of the normal fears. I had to have my closet closed at night so that I wouldn't see the dark shapes of my clothing in the darkness, and I always jumped into bed so that nothing could grab me from underneath while the lights were out. However, I had one fear that wasn't quite as standard for a child. I had a very distinct fear of a man that would stand outside my door at night and wait for me to go to sleep. When I closed my eyes, I could see him. A dark silhouette of man just standing, still and waiting. It terrified me because I didn't know what he wanted to do. Because of my fears I started to lose a lot of sleep. I would be up half the night afraid of the man outside my door. I would sleep in very late, be exhausted during the day, and always beg my parents to let me stay up later because I was afraid of going to bed. Eventually it got to the point where I knew that I needed to do something about it. My other fears were easily enough solved. I was already closing the closet door and turning out the light next to my bed last so I didn't have to worry, but the man was different. The monsters under my bed and in the closet were the typical kind of imaginary nighttime monsters that wanted to jump out and grab you, so merely avoiding them through my regular methods was enough to put me at ease. The man was different though. He didn't want me to see him. He wanted me to go to sleep without noticing him, and that's what made him so terrifying to me. I told my parents about the man, and they told me that he wasn't real and that I should stop worrying about him, but I couldn't. I kept losing sleep and I kept seeing the man when I closed my eyes. One night though, I came up with a solution. I left the door open before getting into bed. That may seem strange, but I thought it out for a long time before doing it. If I left the door open, then I would be able to see out into the hallway to make sure that the man wasn't there long enough to get to sleep. It would leave me vulnerable once I was asleep, but my parents had told me I was just imagining him, so it wouldn't do me any harm once I was asleep. On top of that, even if he was real, a closed door with no lock wasn't going to do much to stop him from getting to me. With all this in mind, I left the door open at night and it worked. I didn't see the man outside my door when I closed my eyes anymore, and I stared into the darkness until I fell to sleep. A couple of times I thought I saw some movement or shifting in the shadows, but as soon as I blinked it was gone, and I chalked it up to the same imagination that had dreamed up the man in the first place. Over time, I forgot all of my fears, but my nighttime routine for dealing with them remained the same out of habit. I would always leave my door open at night, and I told my parents not to close it because it bothered me. A couple of years later, my sister said she saw the back of a dark figure looming through hallway when she got up to go to the bathroom. Looking back on it, I realize that the bathroom is between my room and hers, but at the time I paid her childish ramblings no heed with the man that stood outside my door almost entirely forgotten. A year or two after that, my dad said he saw a tall dark figure dart into the toy room in the basement. He followed it and flicked on the lights to find that nobody was there. The toy room has no windows, and only the one door, so there was nowhere for it to go, but whoever it was had seemingly vanished into thin air. The story interested me, since my dad was never one to tell even the smallest of lies, but again I made no connection between it and the man who stood outside my door so many years ago. One day, I was heading off to school when I saw a pale white face watching me from the door of my house out of the corner of my eye. I looked back at it to see nothing. Dismissing it immediately, I went off to school without incident. When I came back home, I started to see the face watching me again. Every once in a while I would spy it, but it would disappear immediately. I thought that it was just my brain playing tricks on me, since the image was already in my head. I payed so little mind to the hallucinations that I didn't even tell a single person about them. The only real oddity was that I would only see the faces in my house... That was until I had one of my friends over. We were sitting in the basement in what used to be the toy room. I was looking something up on the computer that was now positioned in the room, opposite to the closet. The closet was open just a foot or two, and my friend was spinning around on a chair next to me, waving his feet absently. This meant that he had a quick glimpse into the closet every couple of seconds. After a short while, he jumped off of the chair with a screech, and whirled to face the closet. I asked him what was wrong and he pointed to the closet, swearing to me that he saw a pale white face smiling at him from the closet. At fist I was ready to laugh it off as him either playing a prank on me or getting wrapped up in my hallucinations, but then I remembered that I hadn't told him about them yet, nor anyone else for that matter. It was illogical. There was no way he could have hallucinated the same thing as me without at least hearing a description of the hallucination first. For the first time in years, I was terrified. He went home and I went to bed that night, still trying to make sense of the ordeal. Before going to bed, I made a decision that seemed minor at the time. I decided, for the first time since I was a toddler, to sleep with my door closed. I don't know what it was, but I thought that maybe it would offer me a little bit of protection if there really was something in my house. After a while, I started to doze off. It was then that I heard a loud thump on my door, followed moments later by some scratching noises. I flicked on the light next to my bed, thoroughly spooked, when I remembered that my family had a dog that would scratch on doors when she wanted to be let in to a room. I sighed in relief and was deciding whether or not to bother getting up and letting her in when I heard another noise. There was a soft click of a door handle being grasped firmly, followed by a loud violent rattling. The door handle turned back and forth sporadically, jerking and twisting violently for several seconds before suddenly stopping and leaving me in deadly silence. I sleep with my door closed now.

No crap? Cuz if so thats really creepy... In any case, one time i was alone in my bedroom going to sleep, when i heard a kind of thump coming from my closet. I was really startled by it, but calmed down. Then, it suddenly happened again, and i got REALLY scared. I woke up the next morning and found out that the cat had been in my room the whole night, and i calmed down. But, looking back, the noise was coming from IN my closet, and even thought the door was open, i am POSITIVE that my door was closed, and there was no way for the cat to open it... Been puzzilng over that ever since..
