The worst thing you can do is boarding school. My cousin went away and his friends were mainly the kids who took loads of drugs at boarding school . He ended up with an addiction that it took till his mid 20s to kick. My parents let my friends hang at our house a lot and my partner and I do with his 16 year old kid and it’s the best thing we did. His friends are theatre nerds and their families are lovely. While it is a private school we went with it because it fitted his interests not out of snobbery. Maybe this is why I am “comfortable” not truly rich

In every culture around the world, we all have the same adages. In spanish, the saying goes, 'Tell me who your friends are, and I tell you who you are.'

You don't have to be rich to be a target. any asset or amount of money will do. I have a disabled friend who fought for two years just to get her disability. Finally she won, and also got her two years worth of back pay. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who came out of the woodwork and asked her for money!!!!! Despite the fact that she was disabled, and just about ready to become homeless!!!!

luckily she put the money down on a small property way out in the middle of nowhere! She got away from most of the toxic people, and started growing her own vegetables, which has really gone a long way to help improve her health.

Although being a millionaire or having a million dollars would be nice but I just want to be comfortable.

Rich people have really messed up lives, huh. Glad I'll never be one of them. I just want to be not-poor. Conveniently, we could all be not-poor if we did away with having rich people. Make them pay their employees an honest share of the money those employees are earning, and tax them to pay for all the other things a society needs to be not-poor. All of a sudden nobody is so rich that they're terrified of a thief breaking in and stealing their money, and nobody is so poor that they'd need to steal money to support their family. We want just enough inequality that those who have the ability to create and innovate and benefit society can see a reward for doing so, but not so much that those who can't do that or maybe even can't work at all aren't left desperate.
