15 BIGGEST Holes in the Earth

Ойын-сауық

Our planet’s surface is covered in peaks and troughs that have been formed naturally over thousands, or millions of years… and artificially by human activity in recent times. The surface layer, known as the crust, is so thick that there’s no known cavity that burrows through it to reach what’s beneath, but there’s certainly plenty of holes that reach far down to extraordinary depths, or cover such a wide area that it’s almost impossible to know you’re actually in it. It’s time to go deeper than ever before, as we explore the top 15 biggest holes in the earth.

My Father worked at the Berkeley Pit for 26 years and was at the bottom of the pit the day that drilled into a natural underground water spring causing the pit to fill. The rock truck that is at the museum was also driven by my dad. He sadly passed in 2016, I love you pop!

Grew up in a former mining city area -- Pittsburgh -- we played pick up ball in a field with lots of bricks creating a partial floor. My neighbors had a small spring on their property. It was mine water -- nothing lived in it and we'd all been told do not drink unless you have a death wish. A wooded area behind the brick field was a great play area but again there were small shallow sinkholes we also were taught not to step into because getting out could trigger it sinking further. We used rope, defying the adult wisdom.

Makes you wonder why the Russian hole is just in a random torn down building, and not a protected site. I mean, they could even tear down the rest of the structure, remove the debris and pour a concrete slab over top of the opening. Anyone with a grinder could just get through that cap if they wanted to.

My guess is because they don't try to protect people from themselves much. Which is fine by me. If someone cuts the cap off, they'll just bolt some sort of thing back on. No toddler is going to fall in, and if anyone is dumb enough to both cut the top off and fall in.... good?

The Bingham Canyon Mine , more commonly known as Kennecott Copper Mine among locals, is an open-pit mining operation extracting a large porphyry copper deposit southwest of Salt Lake City, Utah, in the Oquirrh Mountains. The mine is the largest man-made excavation, and deepest open-pit mine in the world, which is considered to have produced more copper than any other mine in history - more than 19 million tons. The mine is owned by Rio Tinto Group

Assuming Space is 300km away, 15ft is not a big target. 300,000/5 = 60,000 : 1 in order to see this, you'd have to be able to see a 1m Wide Tower from 60,000Km away. essentially a needle From 100m away.

"ONLY manmade structure actually visible from orbit" mostly thanks to the very large lake right next to it and I'd say that the german "Braunkohle Tagebau Hambach", which is only marginally smaller in diameter but is also very visible from space since the area around it doesn't blend it at all it also features the largest man made vehicles in the world with a length of almost 740ft and height of 330ft.

With the sun plasma growing inside of earth making it larger earth. With heat from the sun plasma, it started to melt the ice making water. Spaceship drill the holes and pour sun plasma into the center of earth. Good luck with my theory.
