It will be difficult for Ruth Chris to stand out since they will be in direct competition with Longhorn. What incentives does RC offer over Longhorn? The menus are very similar except RC is usually higher.

I think that people thinking LongHorn & RC being on the same level is one of the reasons RC wants to make changes, lol. I think they're more on par with Perry's, Fleming's, and other steak and chop houses with prix fixe specials and a la carte menus. LongHorn isn't one of these.

@johnkim163 I Agree. Ruth's Chris focuses on providing a more luxurious dining experience compared to Longhorn.

I haven't seen one in South Texas, so they might upstate then. I prefer Longhorn Steakhouse though; they still do lunch service. And they aren't willing to compromise for their "Bottom line" over quality service.

It was wonderful every time I ate there, just ridiculously expensive. I haven't been there in over a decade.

@@RealBigBadJohn I've heard great things about them, I haven't been to any in about 35 years. I just started preparing my own. When I was working near one, I worked second shift, and it was an hour drive away from home with many others much closer.

@@BabbleTop I've had to give up driving, due to my age and health. I haven't been anywhere except a doctor's office in almost a year. The medications have pretty much destroyed my sense of taste, as well. Why buy an expensive meal that you can no longer enjoy? I used to love food, but now it's just a necessity. That's why I enjoy your videos, to visualize those times.
