My mom didn't "do" her hair or make up. I felt a lot like you. But you know what? I practiced doing my hair at home an sometimes asked a friend to help me. I watched the other girls put on make up. That helped me get through those years. As an adult, I can tell you that you can be who you are and be accepted for that. Hang in there!

CyberMegs 919 I grew up with just a father then my step mother came into my life when I was 10. They both couldn't do hair what so ever. So I taught myself. These tutorials are a huge life saver

I started working in hair salons, and the beauty industry - just after turning 15!!! So first off - you are such a positive bright ray of sunshine, with awesome energy and vibes!!! So far, I have only watched 1 of your videos, but I can totally tell I'm going to love all of them!!! To be completely honest, I actually got kind of emotional - cuz I REALLY MISS working with my salon family, and all of the awesome clients (which always has a couple of those rare few exceptions!!! LOL!!!) Seriously, you definitely have such natural and like raw talent - which is not something that can be totally and completely taught or learned!!! So I totally love to give credit where credit is due, and oh yeah - you are an artiste!!! Plus, you totally turned my sad and missing people kind of frown upside down - to a smile that is still on my face!!! So I think you cuz I really needed to smile - which is exactly what happened from watching one of your videos!!!

These are great! I've kinda always had short hair (anytime I have tried to grow it out in the past I basically get bored and cut it again), but never really did much with it until I found your videos. Yesterday I got my hair cut again, and now it's just above my chin, so I can't do much that won't fall out right now, but I'm enjoying it as is anyway, and will try out more hairstyles once it's a bit longer again
