The creativity in this is really good, however, the what if stuff in sparking zero is just going to be alternate match ups after choices, we won’t be getting what if characters

Well Trunks wouldn't vanish bc the event is in a different timeline/reality so Trunks would still exist in the alternate timeline and would also still exist in the current timeline bc he physically traveled there.

That’s not how time travel works in dragon ball. Future trunks exists no matter what. All that would change is that in the main timeline kid trunks is never born. Db going out of its way to show you that when you time travel an alternate timeline is created, but the timeline you live in is unaffected. That’s why nothing changes in trunks timeline

There is something about Chichi training and fighting alongside Goku that is so wholesome and refreshing. It changes the whole aesthetic and I love it.

I think people might be overthinking what these what ifs are just a little bit. Like with stuff that would drastically change the story long term, I don't think we will actually see those effects. It seems like for the most part the story will just connect to each other perfectly fine going along the main one, but the what ifs are very isolated to episodes. Like with the Goku going super Saiyan against Vegeta in their first fight thing, I don't think that will now mean that the what if continues into namek saga with Goku already having super Saiyan I think you just get the what if episode and then next episode it's back to normal and you get another isolated what if.

Idk i think it may at least have gameplay affects. We know charater unlocks will be in the gsme but not sure if itll be like bt3. If it is then you may unlock ss goku earlier

This and I’ve seen a lot of people suggest what if forms, including this video. Ssj saiyan saga goku makes sense, because they can just use goku (mid) for that. Same thing with namek saga ssj vegeta. They could probably just use cell saga ssj vegeta assuming he will have access to the namek outfit. However, something like ssj2 future gohan probably would not happen. I really doubt they’d use a character slot on a what if transformation. It could just be a cutscene I guess, but that’s a little lame. I will say it would be really dope if they maybe had a season pass dedicated to what if characters.

There is a TON of overthinking in the community right now but thats because there is nothing else to do but wait lol. Besides its just a fun list of scenarios ive always been curious about. I dont expect most of them to ever be realized.

The funny thing about Vegeta going Super Saiyan on Namek is that Frieza probably wins that fight, even after the Zenkai boosts he got he still wasn't Goku's match so its very possible that even as a super saiyan he still looses.

I love this video, but you have to remember ever since Gohan was a child. He wanted to be a scholar and his mother pushed him to do that and when Goten decided he wanted to be a fighter, his mother pushed him to do basic studies, but still taught him how to fight.

I have 3: - If instead of Vegeto, Gogeta fought Super Buu. We know Gogeta's personality (except in GT) is quite serious, instead of Vegeto's bully personality. How would ended up the battle? - What if Goku never hit his head when a child, would his personality be different? - If Muten Roshi asked Shen Long to become young again, would he also fight against the Saiyajins, Freeza, etc?

Cant wait to see more of sparking zero content from you toon! Hopefully you will fight your viewers!

I'm pretty sure all these happened in db heroes. and the third what if you gave is heroes exclusive stuff so it might not work.

Loved your whatifs, they'd all be extremely hype! I have a few of my own, like what if Buu absorbed Goku instead of Gohan, and then Gohan fused with Vegeta. What if Goku and Vegeta fused during ToP and fought Jiren as Vegito, maybe unlocking Royal Blue UI or something. What if Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 fused as Gamma 3

I think a cool way to do the gokhan scenario would be to make you play as gohan and have a quick time event to catch the earring, if you catch it, you get gokhan

I love the MasokoX Raditz What if. that is my top what-if that I wanna see be a thing. especially if it goes all the way to RnR. also, androids 1-7 were scrapped and used for parts for being incomplete prototypes/failures android 8 is eighter androids 9-12 were mentioned/used in the old Dragon ball Online I think

I can't wait for the what if of Gohan ending up with Eraser instead of Videl!

Eh, the 2nd what if wouldnt really affect much even if present trunks isnt born, since what you do in the past only created an alt timeline (i.e. the canon present timeline) instead of changing the future.

There's a problem with the second what if scenario even if vegeta knew about who trunks's parents and Vegeta didn't be with bulma trunks will still exist because thats not how time travel works and we clearly so that in dbs when beerus killed zamasu in the arc using hakai and for context timelines work the way they work in Avengers Endgame

It could be one of those where they change the rule. After all it was intended originally to be like that. Trunks originally in the manga told Goku not to tell anyone because he could not be born and it was changed later to multiverse theory.

@@subarashiirose6370 but that was proven false because if that statement was true before the whole multiverse thing then Goku would have been alive from the medicine that he got from trunks therefore changing the future (for eg: Like Flashpoint)

If Goku and Bulma got married, his first child would still most likely still be Gohan because it was the name of his grandfather so they probably would’ve still named his first child Gohan I think Goku is the one who picked the name

#9 was the first scenario to pop into my head when what ifs were brought up.

“What if the the fighters were useful” Tien,Yamcha, Krillin or even chiaotzu learning kaioken from Kimg Kai so they could actually keep up with Goku and Vegeta

Best what if would be, what if goku didn’t get his body back from captain Ginyu

The main problem with having buu on the tournament of power is a 1 giant support unit with his healing powers giving goku a huge zenkai after collapsing from the strain ui had on him not to mention having parts of himself on all members of the team and using it to pull them back to the stage or using them if he is being knocked back using candy beam and just throwing everyone except the really powerful out easily, absorbing all of team universe 7 to become really op and absorbing really powerful enemies as well

While I understand why they replace him with Frieza, this was still doing buu dirty.

Super Buu absorbing Goku & Vegeta would likely go around Universe 7 looking for good fights and food, it’s likely that he’d have eventually found Broly and if he ever got to Universe 6 or Future Trunks came back for some reason than he’d have become a Super Saiyan God on accident which would have been interesting.

I hope we can create the “What If” Goku had to fuse with Hercule? 😂

I think a cool what if is Kid Buu fights Beerus and instead of absorbing the Gran Supreme Kai he insteads absorbs Beerus becoming the new God of Destruction.

Here’s my list of what I wanna see - Bulla joins in during the lending of energy to SSJ4 Goku - Gohan achieves Beast in the Cell Games - Vegeta achieves SSJ on Namek - Goku’s head bump gives him an IQ of 300 - Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Chichi, and Bulma train under Roshi - Buu wakes up during Cell Games - Piccolo gets his potential unlocked on Namek - Yamcha stays with Bulma - Gohan and Vegeta fuse against Buu - Raditz turns good - Trunks goes too far back (to right before the Raditz fight) - Frieza kills Piccolo on Namek - Goku achieves SSJ4 in otherworld (rather than SSJ3) - Everyone involved in the god ritual gets SSG - King Cold is revived instead of Frieza

This was a VERY interesting video

They talked about #14 in the anime, said that just because something changed in goku and vegetas timeline doesn’t mean the androids from the future would disappear

I’d love to see heroes super heroes and get like cumber and ssj god trunks and demigra the demon lord guy, xeno goku and ssj4 limite breaker. Sparking zero would be perfect for all these characters and if they do more dlc after super hero movie and dima show then they won’t have much options for dlc other then hero super hero’s or whatever it’s called lol

What if Piccolo unlocked his potential early.

A what if I want is what if future gohan ate the senzu bean instead of giving it to trunks and allowing us to decide who goes into the team of Top and u6vu7 like picking yamcha and gotenks and so forth

What if Raditz kidnapped Gohan and trained him with Vegeta (pause) Could Gohan be the first Super Saiyan?? Could Gohan become a cold blooded saiyan since he’s not with his mom or dad…. Or would he turn his back last minute and join back his dad using his training against his teachers???

what if piccolo unlocked his potential before the TOP? since the gammas were on par with ssb goku and vegeta post top and broly, and they got exponentially stronger from those, and piccolo being able to destroy the gammas in orange, i think orange piccolo could definitely box with toppo and maybe even jiren. maybe instead of goku and freeza its the revisiting of the original hero villain team up.

Pray they give us dlcs that are what ifs characters like a easy one what be ss3 vegeta or broly since raging blast was a thing

Fusion names are like this, lets use Gogeta for an example The “Go” from Goku and the “Geta” from Vegeta, the Ve gets removed because of the Go from goku You can see this with Vegetto(using his manga name) “Vege” from Vegeta “Rot” from Kakarot The Kaka from Kakarot gets removed because of the Vege

If Vegeta overhears what Trunks said... Then the consequences only really arrive at the Buu Saga, since Trunks' timeline isn't affected by the Z timeline. Probably, the Buu saga would be easier, since Goku wouldn't pass the torch again, then BoG would likely bring Tarble to do the God Ritual... Yeah. Things just cascade on course until the Moro arc, really.

They're not going that in depth with the what if's. It'll still be small changes, but it will always end up being the same result somehow The only way they'll go to that in depth with it is to make the whole game a what if think xenoverse but with Consequences

Raditz was in hfil with Nappa in something, and since I can't remember what it was it's probably when Piccolo was in hell in GT and ran into Nappa

I wouldn't expect any what if characters. Maybe 1 or 2 at most and some as DLC. The character slots seem very limited

i think you forgot that potara is also only permanent if 2 kais fuse we didnt know that back then but in the goku black arc they explain it also i think they still would let them be absorbed cause vegitos plan was to save everyone inside boo even with vegetas side who isnt exactly known for his empathy so with goku fusing with gohan i think they still would try to save them and not just vaporize Buu from existens knowing that all who were absorbed are dying with him but that just my opinion :D
