14 mm the subject is the no my the lady, however it’s adding a nice touch with a bright red coat. And the 200mm the subject is clearly the lady, also on point with the contrast Red/Green between the trees and her coat. Love both of them.

I stand by for a 10-300mm f1.2-f2 lens with OSS and less than 500 grams with zero vignetting, distortions and no chromatic aberration.

For landscape, 16-200mm f4-5.6 FF is more than enough.

@@jijdom U forgot minimum focal distance of 10 cm. Also it has to be cheap, perhaps $100 will be fine.

Actually you can use the 14 for portaits also and the 70200 for Landscape. Depends on how far your subject is.

Always loved either really wide (16-35) or super compressed (70-200) over standard (24-70). Our eyes are not used to ultra wide and telephoto compression perspectives, which could make an image stand out more to some people 🤘🏼

I like this. I have a 16-35 f/2.8, a 70-200 f/2.8, and a 50 f/1.8 I’ve thought of getting a 24-70 but I feel like my 50mm fills in the gap nicely

For a cinematic perspective, more films and TV shows need to use something as wide as 14mm for establishing shots. They always use something that’s tight and it makes the universe look tiny. This happens a lot with HK and Japanese TV shows. Korean shows have been utilising wider shots which I greatly appreciate.

2 Hundo for the win .. I’m always so bad at composition and cropping with wider angle .. great shots on both .. but the 20” imo really demonstrates and shows off the IQ with the clarity smooth bokeh

I thing most of the wide shots can be made taking several pictures and using a merge software if your intention is to capture landscape, even using the kit lense but the bokeh of the 70-200 it's harder to achieve so I'd keep this one.

I have a 16mm 1.8 for landscape and have the 70-200mm 2.8 ii also a the 200-600mm and a 1.4x and a 2x converters for doing photography here in Alaska to be able to get the reach for the bears and eagles when I need it lol

I have a 7mm f/.95 for landscapes and have the 200-1200 f/4 also a the 2000-4000mm and 3.2x and 10x converters for doing photography here in Flynt, Mich. to be able to get the reach for the cockroaches and gangbangers when I need it lol I also walked on the moon.

The GM2 is such a nice lens. It is my go to for portraits. Expensive as shit though. Sigma version is great if you dont need 30 FPS.

a wide lens is always the best option for traveling... imagine spending so much time and effort to go to a place then you won't have a picture of the whole surrounding... that 200 can only take a few limited spots and for portraits but you won't be going out on an adventure just for a headshot or a full body portrait

both. But I prefer my Z6 II with a Z 24-200 mm . For me is the best lens and I have some prime lens like a 85 mm 1.8 , 50 mm 1.4 and a 40mm 2.0

But that lens really has a poor aperture, I can recommend the Tamron 35-150 2.0-2.8, though you are missing out on some focal length

14 is actually crap for landscapes in most hands, and skilled hands would more likely want a shift lens like the 17mm ts-e.
