    Just wanted everyone to know there has been an update to this video. Updates include; Thumbnail, Title, Description, Links. Note: In response to the comments on the original title of the video, "$2000 All White PC Build / JONSBO 31 D MESH SCREEN / RX 7600 / RYZEN 7 5800X3D" I was including the peripherals in the price and rounded up, this skewed the data. As a result I have linked a detailed list of ALL parts used and how they break down in the overall price/configuration. I apologize for the confusion and hope this transparency helps correct the error. Thank you all for your comments!

  • @JoshuaHereGTM

    Yes, the side (rear fan) is reversed on purpose. The three fans on the bottom are intakes the three fans on top with the rad are exhausts and the one fan on the back of the pc is also an intake. This is optimal airflow in this orientation with positive pressure for lower dust build up bringing fresh air in for the rad. See this video for explanation on why this configuration is optimal. @@tomzostromu kzread.info/dash/bejne/dJVq2ZWKlNG9cto.html

    @@JoshuaHereGTM I’m building my first PC with this case and I’m having trouble with the cable management. Any tips for this case?

  • @JoshuaHereGTM

    @JoshuaHereGTM

    8 ай бұрын

    Start with your largest cables first and run them along the bottom channels such as the power cable an the HDMI cable for the front screen. Where the case is beveled around the channels you should see small elongated holes these are good mounting points for zip ties. Next rout your power cables for the mother board and GPU again using the channels and mounting points. Last plug in your fan cables and that should help clean it up.@@Czar.Nikolai

    I've been trying to decide whether to go with this jonsbo d31 since someone's selling it locally for $100 or the jonsbo d300 for $250 or the fractal terra or the fractal north but it's been so hard to decide. I have the ssupd meshroom s currently with a Tempered glass panel and I just ordered an nzxt 280 cooler for the lcd display, from amd ryzen 5 3600 to the ryzen 7 5700x. I only like this jonsbo case for that lcd display but the nzxt coolers have that lcd display. Fractals are making cool wood panels added on. If I get the jonsbo, I got to return and sacrifice certain things like maybe the cpu upgrade because I also got to upgrade from mini itx motherboard to regular. Not sure what to do and also it's hard to tell whether this case is bulky or not since mini itx barely takes up desk space

    A regular ITX motherboard does make for a chonky computer but more upgradability. It really depends on what you want to live with. My first PC was a micro ATX and I loved that I could just put it in my luggage but I could not upgrade anything. its ultimately what you want to live with. HYTE also has this full tower with a screen you might like? hyte.com/store/y70?v=164

    @@JoshuaHereGTMI think that aesthetics is unfortunately what i seem to gravitate towards lol. I like the room for desk space, but I want a unique looking case. I currently have the ssupd meshroom s but with the tempered glass panel and I wish that they made a larger sized version of it. Problem is that I can barely see the inside components. That was the same issue I had with the nzxt h1 when I had that but ssupd was slightly better. Problem is that you can't fit more than 2 more fans in a meshroom. I like the fractal terra the most because of it being anodized but problem is that once again, cant see the inside. The jonsbo d31 I only like because of that lcd screen because of it being only $150 that is such a steal since an 8 inch display alone can cost $100 on it's own off amazon So, for me, it seems to be a combination of aesthetics and uniqueness that I seem to be looking for. jonsbo just makes such unique looking cases but the fractal is way up there too. I dont know its so hard to choose

    There is one HDD drive slot on the back side of the motherboard where all the cable routing is. See time marker 15:27 in video. See also case specifications sheet at www.jonsbo.com/en/products/D31.html

    There are many reasons why someone may still chose to go with the AM4 (Dead end) platform. 1- Price (especially DDR4 RAM compared to DDR5). 2- Availability, many years of parts available for AM4. 3- Stability, see listed videos on motherboards overvolting and popping AM5 chips. Not to mention drivers. Same reason I use windows 10 instead of 11. 3a- kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6Z408qxfZu9n8o.html 3b- kzread.info/dash/bejne/nZ2I0MmvpqeblKw.html 4- Drivers, AMD isnt the best with drivers but making great strides. Final Note: There are many reasons why people chose the parts they do, and not everyone wants or has the know how to deal with the teething issues of the latest and greatest platforms. In the end, as long as they are happy with the product and it suits their needs that is all that really matters.
