Just discovering this channel. Excellent bite-sized lessons and the variations in the example sentences do a fantastic job of imprinting the core ideas in memory and making them usable in real-life situations. Thank you so much!

The boy liked the girl so much that he became completely obsessed with her. (Do we use 大好き?) 2. Parenting takes a lot of effort, so by the end of the day I am totally exhausted.

The boy liked the girl so much that he became completely obsessed with her. (Do we use 大好き?) →すばらしい!「大好きで」is also correct!! 2. Parenting takes a lot of effort, so by the end of the day I am totally exhausted.

When using the meaning of completing something, do both of these sentences have the same nuance? In casual speech, are both equally as common to say? ~ I ate my whole lunch. 〜My friend believes the whole story.

  • @MasaSensei

Yes I would say it is almost the same meaning though Stem+きります is emphasizing the fact that you completed the action or completely doing something. A bit of correction! ~ I ate my whole lunch. 〜My friend believes the whole story.
