I really want AEW or some other brand to step up and get as big as WWE. The competition will make for better storylines and just maybe, if that other company (ran by sports entertainers) treated their talent right, things would get better for WWE talent. That being said, if more big names left and people they wanted to bring in refused to sign the contracts until they were better, that would help them.

Brock Lesnar is also allowed to keep the WWE Universal Championship even though others if they don't show up they have to vacate the title after 30 days. That kind of things should be nonsense. This is one of the things that makes me not want to watch the WWE. Brock Lesnar and his disregard for not only fans but WWE rules itself. He needs to realize that the WWE fans are who made him the famous wrestler he is. In the world but if you're not backed by the fans it makes things difficult. 'Medical treatment paid for by WWE' means that if a wrestler gets injured IN THE RING, the company will pay for ALL necessary treatments/therapies. @Tom Lee Really? That's why Hulk Hogan used the name in every promotion he wrestled for? Austin Aries, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Rob van Dam, Sabu, Sting and a lot of older/former Wrestlers had nicknames/gimmicks, that the WWE/WWF never got hold on, cause they only can do this with wrestlers, that are using a name in WWF/WWE for the first time e.g. when they are given a gimmick and btw. it is "copyright", not copywrite .... Oh and Sasha Banks, she only took on her usual nickname, cause Mercedes Banks would have been tooooooo close to Mercedes Benz. Besides those facts, nobody gets forced to put his or her name to paper, if they don't agree to the terms.

Local Crews who do load in and load out for WWE shows, are told no cell phones allowed while out on the floor in the venue. I was told yesterday by my dad who is doing tonights Raw load-in at Van Andel Arena, they were told they would be let go on the spot if they are seen with a cell phone out while in the venue working. That probably explains why you never see pictures of the sets half built (except by wwe programs on the network) or pictures/stories of how they do their rigging or fly their PA.

The only difference was that Vince let Bret compete, because at the time of agreement he was leaving on good terms. Brock was being kind of a brat about it so Vince was like, " Ok, you can leave, but you can't wrestle for the rest of the duration of your contract. Brock flopped in the NFL and needed work, so he actually sued WWE over the non compete stipulation and won.

I'm betting the WWE eventually would have to compensate you for that six miles if you need to earn money and that is your livelihood. however those arguments are kept under lock and key has I better when it comes time to that the lawyers tell them to take it off the books so others don't follow suit.

Jared, Sgt. Slaughter was already using the gimmick at that time. GI JOE was just bonus work for him. Ever wonder why, on the back of the package, where most GI JOE characters have a real name, Sgt. Slaughter's just said "Top Secret"? This was because Sgt. Slaughter didn't want his real name on the box. It would have been a kayfabe violation in those days.

I always wondered if they are independent contractors u kno why are they stuck to so many rules and regulations? I get why when u work u have to follow them. But yet they treat their Superstars like employees. Last I check independent contractors are freekancers mean they are not bounded by many company policies like employees are. They should be able work anywhere they like including working for some competitors. As oppose if u are an employee u can go work for competitors at the same time. But thats not only WWE. I think most wrestling are like this. Well big name one anyway. Now if u are working for small indy companies u can go anywhere. By definition independent contractors work for companies when needed. I think AEW is the only company so where the wrestlers are employees and not independent contractors.

TJ Ware-The reason WWE pays for drug rehab? Until about 15 years ago ALL the talent was popping pills,...Soma’s and Quualudes were their favorites, and they were prescribed by WWE doctors. That was just the way it was, very few promoted Straight edge, (CM Punk), but eventually it became a problem, Brian Pullman, Scott Hall, Tammy Sytch. WWE felt some responsibility, and offering rehab, even after leaving the company, ( Jeff Jarrett) would limit their liability, and exposure.

@Juan Saldana CM Punk didn't sue the "WWE", he sued by the "WWE's" doctor Dr. Chris Amann. The doctor sued for defamation, because he said the doctor didn't know what he was doing and gave wrong diagnosis so that the wrestlers could continue to wrestle even though they could get hurt or die. The doctor lost his case though. Also, I believe even though the WWE wasn't the one getting sued, they did indeed fund the doctor's lawsuit.
