After the last 5 years, it's understood that nothing the Maize and Blue does matters a whit if they don't beat Ohio State in the Big House. Even if Sparty beats them the Michigan faithful will still consider the season a success if they beat the Buckeyes.

@@nmatthew7469 they need to continue to let McCarthy throw the ball though. If he is just coming in for run plays that is a dead giveaway as to what they are doing offensively when he comes into the game.

That touchdown throw by JJ was one of the best balls I’ve seen this year, perfect.

Against any decent team, they can not stop the run. Y’all blow a couple cupcakes out and suddenly you’re unbeatable again? 😂😂😂 nobody has forgotten the first 3 games of the season.

Cade is more than fine moving on. That was the number one rushing defense in the country, a defense also known to get after quarterbacks and Cade played fairly confident today. He and the rest of the team should only get better moving forward and that’s a pretty good thing to hear

Michigan winning in madison has always been an issue. We got two qbs and johnson reminds me of david terrell. Harbaugh has finally got his team together. Love it.

Thank you. This was a very important game for Michigan. (1). They won in Madison something they had not done in a long time, (2). They were rated a 4 point underdog. (3). They told unfaithful Michigan fans with this win that they need to STFU! Michigan Proud since 1964!!

I understand it to a point. JJ has a higher ceiling and they think the only way we can beat the upper echelon in the Big Ten is with him playing. McNamara has earned the starting job and will continue to improve, so let's just wait and see how things shake out before throwing him under the bus.

I give Wertz for wisconsin props that man sits in the pocket and delivers the ball last second while being tackled and gets it there on target too often. Props to Wisconsins defense they held in there for a good while. What killed Wisconsin is they are trying to get on this new spread/shotgun BS. Just stick to the old bread and butter 1 back system.

The drive when Wisconsin scored in like 2 plays those throws were just so accurate Dax really couldn’t do much on them, I’ll give Wisconsin credit that was 2 great passes

- The Defense looks strong! Still a little work to be done in the secondary. But they are otherwise lights out. Can't wait for this years recruits to join the secondary. Especially if we flip Jackson. If I'm a recruit looking towards the NFL, I'm seriously considering the Wolverines. Learning a pro-style defense that has had great success is an easy sell to a pro team when the draft starts. - McNamara is improving somewhat but still its hard to see him leading UM over PSU and OSU. He should've had a TD to Roman Wilson in the second half, he didn't get through his reads fast enough and underthrew him cause of the pressure. Wilson had two steps on the corner should've been an easy dime like McCarthy to Baldwin. Also its odd to see us struggle to move the chains with McNamara but the second we threw JJ in there we got a couple first downs. I imagine Harbaugh is gonna have a tough call to make somewhere down the line with the two of them as the games get tougher. - Tough game on the ground (considering their success earlier) but the Badgers did have the #1 rushing defense. Good to see 100+ yards on the ground still.

Well, Michigan played well, and they finally found someone who can kick field goals as well.

I would’ve liked to keep playing the same Wisconsin team that closed out the first half. Would’ve been more fun no matter the outcome. Michigan fan my whole life but i always root for Wisconsin, except in this game.

It's nice to see Michigan competitive again, but I won't get excited until after they beat Ohio State. Most coaches can go to MI and recruit players good enough to field a competitive team; however, you have to beat your rivals, upset non-conference top teams and finish season in the top five of the polls. Harbaugh hasn't done it yet. He needs to.

Rare to find a Buckeye giving the team up north their deserved props...I'm hopeful we both go unblemished and play a game for the ages on that last weekend in November. It's good for the game when both are at their best. It's taken so long to overcome that Rich Rod/Brady Hoke experiment. This team is now in good hands with the staff that has been hired and are really set-up with talent to become a juggernaut for years to come.

Even though Daxton Hill had a hell of a game, he still got smoked on the 2 back to back plays right before half time! That shit pissed me off!

This was the best performance ive seen by Michigan beating Wisconsin on the road and the defense is much better . They didnt cave in and McNamara looked very good especially the receivers in Cornelius Johnson. I would say right now they are the top 3 teams with Iowa and Penn State but obviously the other Big Ten teams in OSU MSU even Nebraska will be competitive. Truly again I think that gives them great momemtum for the rest of the season. Going to Lincoln is never easy against the Cornhuskers but i think Michigan should be a 2 td favorite at minimum

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say its gotta be the blue pants.

Michigan is looking good but then again they usually look pretty good then something happens late season.

What happened last year or in 2001 has nothing to do with this team or how good or bad it is. Michigan has won 52 contests against Wisconsin in the history of the series, out of 70 played, with 1 tie. Does this stat mean anything? Only that Michigan has had the better team over the majority of the series.

Offense is not as good. Their protection was awful all game long, which you need to keep your qb healthy and open up holes for your rbs. They just aren't on it

This is the part when we get out hopes up only to be devastated against OSU and Michigan state. Earning ourselves a position against a Florida team in some citrus themed bowl game.
