I often will pick lower rated restaurants to have a unique experience, to meet interesting people, and to stay away from the status crowds.
Maximizers waste a lot of time. They ruin a lot of fun. And it cuts into being creative and curious. I don’t trust other people’s opinions and I prefer my own tastes. Further I don’t care what other people do or think. I mean no offense to Angela, but her book was so stressful and sad to me. I’m definitely a Satisficer. There is beauty in the ordinary, adequate plain, simple things. Being satisfied with life creates wonderful free time for enjoyment and peace.
