This band has been one of my favorites since I started listening. But, even though I can't sing, Haley says something here in her address to the audience that I will sing Halleluyah to. She says that even though kindness is most of the time looked at as a weakness (and sets you up for exploitation), don't let it stop you from being kind. The point is to be kind. We can learn to not be exploited, but lets not unlearn kindness. Just perfect.

My school's starting in 9 hours and i just want to thank whoever posted this and Hayley herself. What she said is something i've always tried to keep in mind but struggle and having my thoughts validated before such a big day is just amazing. Thank you Paramore and thanks to everybody who supports them.

Hayleys speech ment a lot to me. I try to be my best and be nice, but people always use me. I got in a really abusive friendship and never have I once stood up for myself. people will never stop unless you tell them to stop. one time I was running for the same friend who was trying to beat me up at school and a girl told her to stop. my friend walked away in shame. if it wasn't for that one girl I could have got hurt even more that day. Stand up for others, and stand up for your self :)

She's absolutely right. People usually take kindness for weakness. Love is underrated despite how powerful it is and, sadly, it's often used to manipulate people. Regardless.... pretty much the best group ever, and the best singer ever,. At least as good asit gets when it comes to pop-rock music. They've written some of best songs i've ever heard in my life, and I hope they keep on kicking a$$e$ for many many years to come. ❤

I assume this diatribe is in relation to Jeremy's lawsuit against her/Paramore/Haley Williams inc.. So Jeremy's been a second class citizen in his own band for years, and that's "kindness"? Anyway, this is a really good song, but you have to wonder if that "boot in the face" she mentioned about Josh in the interview years ago was really a boot in HIS face along with anyone else in the band. You see, when someone reaches the level of fame Hayley has, they start thinking that allowing people to even operate in their sphere of brilliance is "kindness". It's not uncommon for famous and talented people to think this way. She's been getting a lot of attention since she was a teenager and a lot of the goings on with her old band mates wreak of them dealing with a narcissist and finally having enough of it.

TheDmonet Well Josh apologised later on and I think they were all really young and misunderstood each other back then. They basically lived together, the band, because they toured so much and because they were so young it's not difficult to understand why conflict would arise. Zac mostly seemed like he wanted a break from the band because he never saw his family which is why he's been able to rejoin the band. I don't think he was as mad as Josh. As for Jeremy, I don't know. He seems more angry about finances and songwriter rights, it doesn't seem as personal. But who knows. Either way, I think it's more complex than Hayley being a narcissist. She probably has an ego, you have to to be able to perform and get success like that at 18, so she might have a part in the conflict but yeah. just my theory.

Josh tried to destroy her when he left, so that was not cool any way you slice it. He burned his bridges, Zac didn't. When you look at the number of tour dates these people did from 2005 or whenever on, it's not hard to think someone would be homesick. Averaging close to 200 shows per year, you are basically never home. Zac took a few years off and now is back. It still doesn't change the fact that Paramore is Hayley Williams incorporated, and in that sense was never a real band, even though I"m sure it was in the eyes of Jeremy Davis and the Farro brothers ..and their fans....until the hard reality got drilled in their heads. And there is no question she has an ego and loves the camera, much more so then when you look back in say 2007 gigs, you can see here personality changing from "chick in a rock band" to pop star. She's one Max Martin song away from the full transition..which she is aware of and is thus avoiding. An immense talent but with the amount of attention she's received, it's hard to keep it from changing you.

maybe she wasn't talking about him??? you can't say Hayleys a narrsist ether, she's not. all lead singers get the most attention of the band, it's sad but it's true. Kellin Quinn from SWS, Brandon urine PATD, Andy biersack BVB, I could name all the bands in the world. hayley calls herself "Hayley Williams from paramore" she doesn't want people to think of her career as 1 person she wants the rest of the band to get attention. sorry for bad Grammer btw
