$14,000 in the Middle and I Flopped a Set!! Austin, TX Poker Vlog.
$5/$10/$20/$40/$80 with Brad Owen, Doug Polk, DQ, Caitlin, and other characters make for a wild game of poker under the lights at the Lodge in Round Rock, TX. What could possibly go wrong when I get all in vs DQ with only one out to dodge for the second biggest pot I've EVER played?

Man, my stomach dropped and felt like a punch to the gut when the Ace came. You’re a better man than most.

I think I would have thrown up for that much on the table and lost it when the other guy stole victory from me with that one-outer. Andrew took it like a champ. Seven grand it several months' of savings, and what Andrew brought to the table (and lost that session) most of a year of savings.
That last hand was so brutal that Andrew didn't even do an Outro. Wow

Felt the pain in that ace hitting. Thank you for your transparency and humility in your vlogging. I honestly did not think it was coming.
You get so excited to see a new andrew neeme poker vlog but then the ending just hurts 😭

Bro, I saw this hand live. It would be very helpful if you could share a little about how you handle a brutal beat like that. I understand those are part of the game and you see famous players take it out on the player or dealer and you handle it with pure class. Thanks for sharing

You just shrug it off as variance and move on. If it affects your mental state and game or puts you on tilt you are playing too high of stakes
@heavilymeditated6182
2 жыл бұрын
@@filthyrat2181 ok thanks. With that logic are you saying people like Phil helmuth are playing too high? I was asking Andrew for specific ways he handles these situations . Thanks for your input
@EdwardKirkpatrick

He talked about it a couple of times on Lodge Live Streams where he commentated. One of the things he mentioned was that since he plays PLO so much that those types of beats seem to happen more often. So yes they are still gut wrenching, but he's just learned to take them as part of the variance (as mentioned by Filthy Rat). He prefers being in those (well he said he prefers winning them) situations where he read it right, made the "right" move, and just got unlucky versus times where he makes a "dumb" move and then gets hammered.

Appreciate the time and effort you take in the video editing process. it doesn't go unnoticed as I loved the transition in the intro from the "rooftop" to the "cash" in hand part. keep it up Andrew!

I watched it live and it hurts to see it again my friend. Thank you man, for everything you do and share with the poker community. As for me, my game is much better because of you.
Watching that final hand, knowing what was coming was just gut wrenching!!!!
Thank Mr. Rather Favorable. Been waiting my whole month for this! This means it's gonna be a great day
Great vlog man. Sorry to see the rough beat. You are a great representative of poker vlogs. Nothing but class
Ya know a few years back when you first started making these vlogs, I couldn't help but notice how often you lost big pots with pocket Kings. I know it's all completely random, but his one really hurt my heart 💔😩🥺! No one deserved this spot more then you and then to drill the one outter right away .... The only thing I can say besides you run worse with KK then any player I've ever seen is I'm very impressed with your poise and professionalism!!! No sour face, no bitching, no complaining!! What a real role model and ambassador for the game. Andrew I love your game and have so much respect for what you have done for the sport and poker community! Keep your head up!! Still one of the BEST players I know!
That hurts…it happened to me in 2019…that same hand! Did not want to play poker for a month after this…

Brutal beat on the one outer especially at the end of a losing session. Love your vids. Keep up the grind and maybe variance will smile on you next time.
The consummate professional! I tip my hat to you Andrew.
WoW i felt it in the guts… stay strong the favorable’s ones will come back soon ❤️
you have come a long way Andrew since your first VLOG on your balcony in Las Vegas!
This stream was awesome. You got the worst seat in between DQ and Doug. Plus Chase can be wild even though he was pretty tame on this day.
Ahh that hurts hope you run good coming weeks🙌🏻
Never have I ever audibly yelled NOOOO at a vlog but….that shit was absolutely brutal….just sick for Andrew there
Always a professional, even when it hurts. Thanks for the content.
After years of running like god you finally ran like the rest of us
Dang! That was a tough break. Keep your head up, Andrew. You'll get'em next time👍
This is how I've been running lately as well Andrew. It's no fun, but failure is inevitable and necessary. A very intelligent man said that if you're going to fall, always fall forward, and that's what you did. Don't become complacent in success, always keep moving forward and pushing for greater accomplishments.
Happy to see a quality Vlog from you! I really miss those bits where u are talking to your camera and go over the hands i think its what gave your vlogs their nice flair
It happens Bro, continue to play smart & strong have no doubt you'll bounce back!
Speechless... Both Andrew and everyone dying with him on that last hand. Poker Gods are a fickle bunch.
Nobody caught what Andrew said at 4:51?? Hahahahahhahahahhahaha good one Andrew
brutal hand.....omg i got no words....... you should add that GTA style "WASTED" at the end of this video tho... this is poker....
Andrew that ace. I scoffed out loud.. been there man, its a rough feeling. It's poker though, you'll bounce back man.. rough night.
I couldn’t watch this Andrew. I saw it live and my gut anxiety jumped. A one outer. The odds??? Were there 30 cards left in the deck? OMG! Sick!
Love the content as always. Tough one out. Try some central TX fishing for decompression.
Being on both sides of AK vs. KK each time getting the worst of it. It does make me feel a little better about running AK into AA three times in one session this weekend. Still....absolutely brutal beat on that Ac turn. It's great to see an absolute first class pro show us how to respond even in the worst of beats...
Watch both you and Brad's vlogs all the time. Really thought you were going to stack DQ for your biggest win. When that Ace came out I was shocked. Felt so bad for you. But we have all been there... That's Poker !
That last hand rocked my soul, good luck for the future man.
No words needed at the end
Andrew you took that last hand with super-high class. respect. take it all back next time !
Oof. I feel like I need to like and comment to help get some of that money back. Brutal hand, and you take it like the champ you are. Hope these sessions start swinging the other way for you.
Ouch!!! Great vlog… well handled on the last hand, that’s brutal!!
Respect for sharing this. I don't think I could have. Wow!
So sorry Andrew. You're due for some serious run good. That last hand knocked the wind out of me just watching. Ouch!
You are total class, even when taking a ridiculous blow like that last hand. Thank you for sharing this with us.
I can't lie Andrew, this vlog broke my heart. I will always root for you to win every session.
I've unsubscribed from most KZread channels that I used to be subbed to, just to reduce the sea of notifications I used to get... And then I watched the last hand. I've re-subbed because that's the most I can do to show my support.
Love your choice of no outro. We all know there’s just nothing to say here. Brutal.
Andrew, so classy. I know these guys are your friends but the way you reacted, I woulda thought u we’re playing for potato chips not 5 figures! A gentleman whether u get the W or the L. Much respect!
Glad I waited until the end.
Brutal Andrew. Just brutal.
Oh god the A broke me there, was planning to play a session xD but got demoralised by this, that's so siiick

Ending was very fitting, speechless.
Such a beautiful vlog, perfect in every aspect, I've never seen a narrated live stream vlog done with such precision, and then, that happens, 🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕
I’m in literal tears for you Andrew! The only out and he hits it 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I lost $200 in a 1-2 game. I had 9-6. Flop was J-6-6. Turn was a Q giving my opponent top boat (pocket queens). River was a 9. All in on the river, lost my stack. I congratulated my opponent and left. I had angry, evil thoughts. I can’t imagine how Andrew must feel after this ON A LIVE STREAM!!! I always feel like this only happens to me…but it doesn’t. Sucks sooo bad…and I only lost my $200 buy in. So sorry, Andrew!
Dude that one outer between you and DQ. I felt the pain in my gut on that one. That was so sick.
SNAP!!!! It burns...I can't feel my fingers. What a brutal hand I would have cried like a baby.
Stunned. Brutal finish! On another note, the Mini 3 is released any minute. Looks to be an expensive but worthwhile upgrade.
Running like me. Sick sick game andrew
Great video, this shows that it's not always rainbows, puppies and sunshine in poker.
Neeme shows us all how to be cool. Guy is the guy. 😎
I like all the B roll additions here.
I saw this live absolutely brutal session for you
Holy smokes. That was brutal. When the dealer just took Andrew's KK cards I cried
My heart dropped.... the comeback will be better than the set back 💯
When I saw it on livestream, my body felt numb DQ hitting the 1-outer! Not fair!
I love that Caitlin has the same tattoo as Worm from Rounders. 7:09
Ooooooof that last hand was brutal.
Brings his own chair LOL!
Like the Ending scene in your favorite movie and your favorite character gets killed 🎭
Stunned!!
Daaaamn. I felt like I got suckerpunched in the throat when I saw that. That may be the most painful hand I've ever seen played. What unremarkable luck. But imagine being in that guy's shoes? I cannot imagine what must have went through his head during that process. Or yours. That whole thing is bonkers.
what the hell!! I was happy for you and then Ace hits.
Doug looking like Dr. evil haha
So unlucky.. Great vlog as always
Almost identical session here in Detroit! Left with double up, all in all a good session
I think the worst thing is when you have to go back and edit the vlogs and relive the gut wrenching bad beats. When it happens you suck up the variance and move on but to have to relive it to edit it is always a b*tch. Thanks for the content as always Andrew!
Maaaaaaannnnnn……I would have pulled a Hellmuth and fell on the floor. 😂
Congrats on the The Lodge part-ownership Andrew....making good moves! :))
That’s crazy man!!!
Wow. One day Andrew you will crush a live stream. Texas ain’t no joke
Andrew just got up and walked straight to the bar and said, "Bartender, give me everything on the top shelf and put in a large glass."
Damn, tough session. It's these sessions that I sometime wonder if poker is worth playing for living. Just disgusting. Let's go, Let's gamble!!!
Saw the hand live. Keep your head up.

I don't know what you call the opposite of Phil Hellmuth but Andrew just demonstrated it. OPH!
Ouch. Sending you a virtual hug mate, that's a bad beat. I guess they have to happen, I could barely watch, I felt it like a kick in the guts.
I’ve only seen 1 worse beat that you haven’t taken and that was the QQ vs 1010 hand in California set over set flop lose to quads I’m guessing this one stung a little more because of the amount. Hopefully we your run good has returned Lefty.
Wow-that’s tough!
Bro, ain’t no waaaaaaaay. 1 out bro? That’s craaazy.
Oooof...most brutal of endings there.
Hey man, I’m hurtin so hard for you right now. The universe is cruel. Looking forward to seeing you make that back in the next video 💪💪
I just want to watch Andrew absolutely crush at The Lodge.
love when the pros overplay AK from out of position and get stacked
Ya Fuck That outro !!! Good Game My Guy !!! I would of sent those Chips to The MOON LOL !!
Man Andrew. That is such a run bad scenario that played out at the end. I feel for ya man. There are nights or even weeks were ppl run bad even with the "so called nuts" but then to have the second nuts in the end. If it makes you feel better my buddy at a cash game lost with flopped quads on a double board PLO hand but to lose to a A10 with one out to the ace on the river. Ridiculous run out for piles.. to think that your going to get half the pot but get scooped entirely.
This looks like pokerbros, brutal
