Another big snowfall following the week of freezing rain. Got the Kubota B2601 Compact Tractor and B2782B Snowblower ready for a relaxing afternoon clearing snow out along the forest driveway. Ran into some trouble. Cheers! #frontmountsnowblower #kubotab2601 #compacttractor

The best traction material on ice is wood stove ash, beats sand any day. This video is old but the content is timely and good.
thanks for your good ideas
I hope both Joe and Dave hurry up and stop by to watch your epiphany. I have a couple tractors that chains stay on all year around. Can't beat 'em for the ice or mud. I ain't gonna say I told you so..... hahahaha. I'd say you did a bang-up job today. I still can't believe all that snow you guys get up there. Another good one GP. Thank you sir.
Two big thumbs up for enjoying the open air tractor in the snow with your baseball hat on! - Cabs are for the city - lol.
Thanks Gord. Always look forward to your videos.
GP I love your videos and have learned so much over the last year from watching them. I also have a B2601 with no cab and had the idea of using a snowmobile helmet on it while snowblowing! I cant wait for this winter to give it a try. Safe Tractoring!
Just wanted to let you know that two little boys in Minnesota really enjoyed this video! Thanks for posting
Great video Gord! I like the explanation at the mid point. I too almost got stuck on a hill in my most recent video. I had to put the tractor in the lowest speed and spin for 20 min to move the last 4 feet. And that was with chains!! When you get chains you will see what a game changer it is. Cheers and thanks for sharing. Daniel.
Good morning.... You've provided me with a great way to begin my day. I really enjoyed the video. Thank you, from So. Ca. 😊
Thanks GP... This makes the 3rd video I have caught as I very much enjoyed it! I like the Kubota tractor & what appears to be the appropriate sized snow blower for the tractor. It really ate through the deep fluff with relative ease. You absolutely need a set of (4) chains. I use Danish Steel skidder style chains on my rears & a set of reg. cross bar chains off my now dead pick up truck on the fronts, ( bought that truck new in '86, got 207,000 miles & 16 years out of it before cancer ate it to the bone! ) I strongly advise buying the good ones, not the cheapies! ( They will come with X-tra side links & hook up links in the middle & will need to be cutoff. ) I leave a couple X-tras on the sides for ease of installation, run it a little & tighten them up, then wire tie them in place...
Hi GP. Great video of you blowing snow once again. Just blew out our driveway with our John Deere 2520 with a front mount blower as well. Only about 4 inches but they are calling for 15 to 20 centimeters this weekend. What a year for snow up here in the north of Ontario. Loving it!! Take care and keep the videos coming.
Thanks for the video Gord. We made it up to Minden this past weekend.....no shortage of snow that's for sure. Have a good one!
I had the dealership add rim guard in the rear tires that added about 800lbs to the rear. So far I have not had to worry about anymore ballast to lift anything with my b2650. I did upgrade to the larger tires also. I have to say so far on ice up hill I have had no issues. Glad you had someone to give you a hand making it up the hill and hope he is not going to rub it in to much..😂
You got more snow coming Im ready for spring have good one god bless
Good morning, great neighbors make for a great time. I'm sure that Guy didn't mind helping, and bragged a little about his L!
If I had that setup I would be knocking on all my neighbor's door asking if I could clear their driveways ha ha. Good going.
What a beauty. Front rig is a pain to put on and off and more money....but wow!

I run chains on all 4 wheels on 2620 with the r 4 tires, within reason it will go through anything. It's an awesome tractor.
Cool Video!!
