The railway minister should give top priority on safety of passengers rather than speeding up trains when train accidents are increasing day by day.No new faster trains should be introduced unless full safety of passengers are ensured by railways. The railway should give death compensation of ₹ One crore to each passenger & accordingly to injured passengers on seriousness of injury. The railway concessions of Sr. Citizens must be restored immediately. Sr. Citizens are very aggrieved with withdrawal of train fare concessions. BJP got humiliating defeats in Lok Sabha elections due to the mass boycott of BJP by Sr. Citizens. This will continue in the future also. There is no justification of withdrawal when Modi govt is spending several lacs crores on different freebies but train fare concessions were not restored which can be recovered by stopping corruption in railways.

3:58 Eastern Railway is fully responsible for this incident because there is long demand of LHB coaches for the Both the Silchar Kanchenjunga and Agartala ( now Sabroom) Kanchenjunga express, But Eastern railway is busy with giving LHB coaches too short distance trains 🤫

@@rahuldey3996 depends on availability of rakes and coaches also, right? Kanchenjungha entire RSA requires lot many rakes and coaches. Prbably should be done by this year only. And how does LHB or not LHB matter here? Goods train came and hit from backside, how could LHB have stopped this accident? In that case, even Coromandel-SMVT Hwh train accident in Odisha shouldn't have happened - but both those trains were LHB, right?

@@harshroy6787 if the train speed was above 50 then train can't be stop suddenly, and no one can see whether point is proper set or not. It is surely fault of railway but you can't blame driver that why hi is not applying brake , Both loco pilot is dead you should know that..

The Railway Minister is just not learning! Have we forgotten the horrible but similar Coromandel Express accident? Too many train accidents, too many cases of unauthorized occupation of reserved compartments and utter lack of focus on management of existing infrastructure is leading to one disaster after the other. What happened to Kavach? Thus Railway Minister seems to be focused only on new projects. He must be replaced immediately.

Railways should take full responsibility and initiate all the required steps to prevent future accidents rather than spending money on high speed trains. Also finish the DFC corrider as soon as possible there by goods trains have their own tracks. Also railway posts should be increased as there are many unemployed youth in India.
