Now Jeonghan and Wonwoo are releasing a single album that has been sold out across many Japanese stores. His voice is so heavenly, and his stage presence is incredible.

This really made me realize that Jeonghan once was worried and not confident enough to perform, but look at him now. He's normally the mc for seventeen shows, speaking confidently to crowds and was accepting enough to be different from other boys without fearing he'll be judged.

True. He was so quiet and awkward with the other members back then, probably because he joined them late. Now, Jeonghan is a lot more confident in expressing himself. An "angel in disguise" as they would call him now haha

Now i understand why Chan is Jeonghan's baby. Surprisingly, it's not because Chan is the maknae, but it's because he is Lee Chan. The one who calmed him down, the one who hugged him, the one who stayed beside him and the one who listened to his thoughts. Even if Samuel and Dongjin (who are younger than Chan) were still there, i dont think Jeonghan would call any of them "baby" like how he did it to Chan. The reason is because Chan is his special one; His favorite dongsaeng; His forever baby brother :)

Seeing this where in his single with wonwoo is about to release in few days now, where he will sing a full length song makes me so emotional and so proud of him, our baby you've come so far 😭🤧🫶

I don't think he's a bad singer. He just wasn't born with natural singing talent like Seungkwan or DK. Other examples: Eunji from APink, Ailee, IU, Lee Hi, Chen or Baekhyun from Exo, etc. These people who just have an innate gift for singing - you know the ones who even without voice lessons, they sound already amazing. And I think with Jeonghan's analytical personality - he knows himself that he isn't one of those natural born singers and that influences his confidence in singing. However with hard work and by choosing the right song, even though a person isnt a naturally born singer, a person can still sing well. Jeonghan proves that today. He's grown in confidence, and I hope he can grow further. Esp on variety and other projects. Wishing him the best!!!!

Seungkwan and DK were singing even before became trainees. Jeonghan is literally have no singing background and one of the last to be a added. He only have 2.5 yrs to train before debut while the other members had 3-6 yrs. Only Minghao has less training time which is 1.5 yrs.

coming back to this and all the members comforting him is so cute :( 4:13 6:29 - 7:28 mingyu continuously encouraging and holding hands with jeonghan (I thought this was so cute as a they’re both my ubs but also bc they apparently super different according to the members but you can see that they were and still are close) + coups joining in to encourage hannie 8:06 ahh seokhan they have always been together even until now they’re always together 8:40 coups helping him again 95z :( 10:30 dino comforting and sitting with his 4 year older hyung 11:05 ahh my favorite jihan knowing that they comforted each other during the entirety of their training makes their friendship so much more precious 11:42 wonwoo checking in on him too 16:25 and finally dino hugging his hyung and comforting him again so cute like some other comments have mentioned it’s really interesting to see jeonghan being comforted by all the members here bc I’ve found that now he’s the member that a lot of the other members trust and go to for comfort. I’m so proud of him and I’m so so glad he could debut with all the other members in seventeen (and become my number 1 bias in all of kpop haha)

You know, this is what is true development. Everyone comforted him when he felt unsure, and then he has become the safe space for everyone now. It's very beautiful to witness something like this. It's literally returning kindness and love to the world, that was once shown to you. I can see how much he loves and adores Seventeen. The members are his world. This is that one group that pulled me in, emotionally. They are the craziest bunch of friends, yet in all of that too, the love could be felt. Seventeen has become my comfort now, from their songs to their antics. I love so many groups for their talent, but Seventeen is my safe space. The love they have for each other, just made its way into my heart too, somehow. I wish from the depth of my heart that they always be happy together. ❤

He's so handsome back then and now he's so pretty.

From then to now the confidence boost is amazing, he is usually seen taking care of the other members but here he was the one being encouraged and watched over.

Is this Jeonghan's first evaluation? He's so scared and the members are so aware of him, they seem truly worried and willing to help him practice. I love these kids, but I'll be honest. Glorianna Elizondo Lol I think S. Coups has always been like that but to me he's always been those kids that's friends with everyone. Like those kids that can hang with the cool kids group but also be friends with the awkward nerdy kids. 😅 But his overconfidence is one of the things I like about him because it makes him an overprotective and great leader. I think pre debut S. Coups though had a hard time understanding his groups needs and knowing how to care for them. Like in Project Seventeen he finally asked Woozi why he would lash out simetimes and learned it was because of how stressed he was. You can tell S. Coups has grown as a leader so much these days and has defientely learned and established to put his groups needs before his. Im so proud of him.😏

This is a late reply but for me during those pre debut era,everything is so stressful and brutal for Cheol and other kids. Woozi and Cheol are the ones who are been in the trainee period for a long time.Cheol even been on a line up to debut with Nuest but got cut off for some unknown reason. The line up for SVT that time was not yet determined,it is still a competition for everybody.They dont know which one of them get to debut.Everything is still unknown and its so stressful.

I'm saving this video, as a reminder for myself that things do change for better, if we hang in for a while, without giving up and that confidence can be built. I also needed this to remind myself to be kind and show love. I am very new to Seventeen, so I hardly know anything from the past, but Seventeen has become my comfort zone, my safe place now in a way. I absolutely love Jeonghan, and to see his journey especially has made me feel a little better. ❤😮
