    you are inncorrect black had some real chanses at the rook end game it was not a good game. 2100 should win 1600 any time

    @@user-os4vs5pl2v This kid is significantly underrated. Probably his rating is only 1600 because he did not play much OTB due to the pandemic. In this game, his accuracy was same as Anna -- 97.4%. So he played more like as someone with rating 2000, and it is typical for young talented players like him, they can play extremely well in some games but do poorly in others. In any case, his performance rating in this tournament is 1935.

    @@niagra898 No, her mom is a GM. She just happens to be female. Her peak rating was 2550 Elo.

    Excellent work! You are doing an excellent job on portraying your thought process during a game. The fact that we can actually see you making key moves makes it even more interesting. This is better than what some GMs are doing in their channels. Next time add more comments from your mom. It is really entretaining.

    I like that you explain some "reasoning" for not only your moves, but your opponents, (as far as you know those). I don't want to get good at this game from memory, (I don't have time for that 15 year degree), I want to learn it philosophically, so I can see good moves from any position.

    The low rating notwithstanding a risk-free draw with black while retaining winning chances is a good game.

    Coming down fast with the knights. That is what Gametop Grand Master Chess 3 does with it's London opening if I don't block with pawn moves. But that opens me up for other attacks. I wish you would try it.

    Can someone explain why there was no +30 minutes in her round 5 match after move 40? Is it because the clock behaved the same way in the previous match and no one noticed there should be extra time

    Which chess book would you recommend? I started playing chess when I was 4-5 years old. However I never read a book about chess and only play in an app sometimes. I think I’m not a good player. Your explanations give me a lot more insight and I start seeing why reading books would help.

    Hola Anna. La partida y tu análisis son muy interesantes. No obstante, yo creo que el árbitro te tenía que haber concedido el punto porque tu rival tiene la obligación de pulsar el reloj. Bandera caída=partida perdida, excepto cuando no hay material para dar mate.

    I didn't find that game as exciting as your others [I'm not being mean at all]. You should have won; and maybe you were too nice allowing the extra time on the clock? Good Luck for tomorrow.     Some ppl keep their rating down for some reason. In archery this can be very decisive. In golf as well. But in chess? Maybe in the beginning of the tournament u wont have to face the most difficult opponents?
