@ Maybe try to find the little things you really like about people without having any attachment to whether or not they like you. That's helped a lot at work: I try to really enjoy my clients and be completely non-judgmental of them.

@ Also, maybe really pay attention to the behavior of those people that everyone seems to like. How are you and they different? Sometimes people really dislike me and I then try to figure out why. I may not care to do anything about it but I always want to understand what's going on there. Good luck!

Many people don't seem to realize how big of a world exists inside of the mind of an introvert. I like to imagine myself living inside of my mind. It is like my own personal little ocean of emotions and feelings. And I sit there on a tiny little boat enjoying my life as I watch the waves go by. Sometimes the ocean gets stormy, but I keep on rowing until a brighter day comes. I'm just waiting for that one day when I see another person rowing along in the distance so we can meet and enjoy watching the waves go by together. ❤

Introverts are very sensitive, and usually come from dysfunctional homes. (like most of us) But they are terribly afraid of intimacy, usually because they were enmeshed with one or more parents growing up. Introverts are terribly afraid (consciously or unconsciously) of losing themselves in an intimate relationship. We will be doing more videos on this subject as well. It deserves more attention...This one was great.

Such a nicely written script and the animation is amazing!!!! Way to go. Introvert tribe!!!! When I was younger, I always thought I was the odd one out for not really needing to hang out with friends every single day, week, or month, but found great comfort in time alone to reflect, recharge and relax. I rather spend time with people whom I can truly connect with, otherwise I'd prefer hanging out with myself lol but I'm happy to have friends who are extroverts and understand my nature :)

I found it difficult to really show my affection to my girlfriend at first, since close, physical and affectionate contact was something I had never really experienced very much as an introvert. I usually keep everyone at arm's length and value my personal space. But after realizing that my girlfriend was giving me the time to come around and wouldn't judge me for not being a textbook Casanova, that nut was eventually cracked and it's been great ever since. At first it was more of a nervous and short kiss, now it's lengthy and passionate. Sitting next to each other has become lovingly snuggling under a comfy blanket while watching a movie and emptying a bottle of wine. Inviting her into my appartment was also weird at first, since I usually like to keep to myself. But suddenly there was this attractive, charming woman in my life and in my home and I did everything I could to make her feel comfortable. She came by just for a cup of coffee in the early afternoon and left just before midnight. So I guess I did something right. Being an introvert makes it somewhat difficult to start a relationship. But once you're over that first phase, it does get much easier and you'll find that it's these traits which make you so much more interesting.

This was surprisingly accurate. I've been instant messaging this girl I like and we really hit it off. I usually enjoy my time where it's just me, but if she wanted to hang out, I'd go for it, or if we both wanted to go out. I know her birthday, so that's a start.We both have our fair share of personal topics. We haven't had any secrets revealed. I really like keeping in touch with her and her sisters. They're good people. I'm nervous about #9. They know I'm weird, but this might be a bit much early on. We introverts are loyal once we find that one special person. This happens to be a long distance relationship. I started coming out of my comfort zone a while back, so I'm not afraid to make a move. So yeah, this was good.

@@artivism4068 thing is, no one told us about the inside world. Most people don't even know about there inside world. The Self, the Shadow, the Anima or Animus. I'm 33 now. And I almost felt alone my entire life. Like I was some sort of alien in this world. Like something was wrong with me. Nothing was wrong with me. Except my knowledge of myself. And the fear of my own soul. This book literally saved my life. Jung saved my life. Because he gave me the strength to face my biggest fears. May he give it to you as well 💚🕉️🌟 and like I said. I’m an introvert and I show signs of liking someone by just learning about them and talking to them whenever it’s a normal time. Then I just watch them from a far for the next year and wait for them to like me back, even tho they never do 🙃

That I've liked him for a long time, and I've wanted something more with him; I wanted to try with him. So, we'll see if that helps him to talk to me again. I don't know what happened, he just stopped talking to me. I'm sure he'll come around again, though, like he always does.

He was walking in for his doctor's appointment, and I was about to be picked up, so we couldn't talk much. We didn't really say anything, really. He just whispered, "Hey," to me, and I smiled.

Potart On one hand, the grass is always greener on the other side. If you just know someone through the internet, it’s easier to not see their flaws because they‘d naturally rather talk about their hobbies and other things they like online. This makes it easy to idealize the positivity that comes with them when it’s actually just selective. On the other hand, you should tell her how you feel. You can‘t expect her to know about how you feel if you don’t tell her, especially if she has depression. She might think you’re doing this because you feel sorry for her, not because you actually like her.

Im a introvert and recently asked another introvert to coming home. They said yes! Plus she even made me help her pick out her clothes and stuff. These videos really help so thank you i guess. We connect on alot of things like bands books and weird talking skills. Once again a giant help and thanks.

@@Psych2go I have to pluck up alot of courage to call people even my closest friends, I am not very romantic but I've become more emotionally vulnerable with him and he sees that I am very tense he helps me relax like telling jokes or starting an interesting conversation which I love. He always helps me step out of my comfort zone but never forces me.

I'm a introvert and the amount of video about introverts is satisfying I fEEL FINALLY LOVED!!

Been seeing this guy who is admittedly an introvert and these infos make me feel more steady... i thought it was going nowhere and its better to let go but everytime i try he never gives up on dealing with me which makes me feel bad coz its a lot of effort for him that i did not appreciate... i understand him more now...i realized it takes a lot for him to share the space with me and now i value that more than before

My husband is one and I have lots of friends who are and I’ve always immediately gravitated towards them. Even to cat introverts. It feels beautiful to win their love and friendship. My husband is so special and I don’t mind the slow and steady wind the race opportunity to get to know someone bc that’s how lifelong friendship is made. Even w my cat bunny who was growling and shy biting and scared it’s taken her 4.5 years of slow steady love and affection to win her trust. It feels amazing to see her blossom and give love!! Introverts are like closed flowers, in a metaphorical sense. They slowly open up to reveal an interesting and beautiful character.

I like someone who is an introvert. I told her how I feel and before telling her that, I am so afraid that we will no longer be friends. But turns out we became more close and I am so happy that we get to know each other more as time goes on. Though, she might not feel the same way as I feel, i am glad to know her and I wanna be a friend who will be able to help her when she need it. And as always, I will be forever grateful to met her in my life and will forever treasure her. Love you, Wednesday 😄

Okay, so there’s this guy I like, and I’d like some advice from some NICE comments please. There’s this guy that I really really like, he’s super nerdy and really socially awkward and introverted. Not a lot, but like a decent amount. He’s nice and really smart and good at everything, especially music. The only thing he’s bad at is people, and their feelings, and knowing what to say and stuff. He’s not really good with maturely handling a situation, or just talking about anything personal. He’s kinda closed off with that stuff. So I need some advice as to what I should do, like, just around him? I can be kinda crazy sometimes and it’s not bad, we’re good friends. But I also want to tell him eventually how I feel. I feel just a little bit like he may like me, but I’m not sure. I don’t know if I should wait for him to tell me, or if I should tell him? I’m really scared he’ll ignore me. If someone has advice, that’d be great. He’s very special to me, and I just want to see him happy. 😊

So, you're the extrovert, right? Be yourself. If he likes you, it's because you're already you. As far as what to do. None of us can really tell you, without direct observation. Hence, your six month wait for a comment. :) One thing I can say not to do. Don't try to fix him. You mentioned he's bad at people & feelings. Leave that alone, don't make a project of him. It might work in the beginning but it will eventually build resentment if the project attitude continues. So back to the idea of you being an extrovert. Relationships are a two way street. He might need a slow ramp to a relationship, and you might need to know quicker. There's somewhere in the middle, a balance. I say ask him. Here's why: 1) You'll get an answer. Yes/No/Ignore (still no) will all give you important info. Sure, two answers are scary. But you'll learn that you're strong enough to handle all 3. 2) It'll give him important information too, even if he doesn't select you. He'll begin to understand cues that extroverts give when they like him (if he hasn't figured that out yet). If you're afraid to ask a direct question such as "do you like me," try something like inviting him to a party you know about. Or a small social gathering. If he says yes and hangs with you at the thing (exclusively), you're on your way. Maybe.

Psych2Go Maybe when they care about my space and the things I feel comfortable with. A lot of my classmates always try to push me into parties that I do not like, so when they respect those kind of things and try to invite me to places that I do like it's really cool. Also, I love when they remember stupid details about me such as the things I like or my favourite color, it's like they pay attention to me and that makes me feel nice.

@@Psych2go I´ve come to realise that I have a lot more of an introvert than what I´ve expected. Mmmmm... No introverts have caught me. Yet XD. As long as I like them (soul and body), they have good chances. I´m more into the extrovert kind of person. This video was very helpful to get to know me better. Go figure :)

He doesn't remember my birthday I'm sad but he does give me advice when I'm down, He listens to my nonsense drama, he responds to my text, he once came to one of my social gathering hmmm he did checked on me once if I was fine since he and I were miles away now because of our studies. Maybe he really just treasures me as a great friend oh well no matter I'm just blessed and happy to have him as my friend. I love everything about my introvert friend and I'm an extrovert.

I'm pretty much all of that except the last point. I very rarely step out of my comfort zone, especially when it comes to my crush. Everything else is spot on though, it is nice to know that some of the issues I struggle with are common and that there are more people like myself out there, even though I have always felt like the odd one.
