13 Queen Ant Experiment | What will happen?

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

After catching so many Lasius Flavus Queen Ants during their Nuptial Flights in Summer Ant Season, I decided to run an experiment about Queen Ant behavior, like Polygyny and Pleometrosis - an Ant Experiment - all in the name of science!

You should catch another 2. There is an experiment that has a higher change of succeeding. If you place two qeeuns in 2 testubes and you make them bot to ONE OUTWORLD. The end of the testube needs to be smaller then the qeeun ant. This makes it possible for the worker ants to come out of the nest but the qeeuns can’t meet because the hole is to smal for them.

Pleometrosis is when multiple queens found together. It is regardless of the colony type the queens will take later. Polygynous species can start by pleometrosis or by secondary polygyny for example. I see a lot of people mixing up the term pleometrosis with monogyny.
