i wanted to further contribute to the fast magick portion, i heavily recommend using ginger. extra bonus: if the occasion allows for it, then utilize planetary timing for an additional boost. in this case, specifically the hours of the sun or jupiter. ♡

With the salt thing Astra mentioned for tea, salt reduces bitterness and allows the full flavour of things to develop, which is why it's so important in cooking. I add it to my coffee if I get a batch of beans that's a bit more bitter before I extract them, it smooths the flavour right out.

I'm definitely going to try the salt thing! I also think steeping at lower temperatures, shorter times, or even cold steep or cold soak before hot steep will help. Experiment, take notes, etc.

I've always been attracted to this stuff. But my adhd is so bad I can't form a practice and stick with it to save my life. So I end up going nowhere no matter what I take on. However, if you wanted to build a fusion reactor, I could probably draw up some functional plans for you, if you provided me a space to hash it all out on paper. A highly intelligent mind incapable of focusing is the biggest, stupidest, roadblock to have in life.

This was , once again, an absolute treasure! I'll add a bit for the plant spirit work and that is to make a flower or energy essence with it and sit with it while you do, allow stream of consciousness and all those juicy psychic senses to be at play and write as you sit with it. I have gotten some incredible insights doing this. Also, I had a funny thing happen while listening to this that just busted me up. About the time Sanhre was talking about people who know just enough to be dangerous, my neighbors very loud stereo switches songs and The Devil Went Down to Georgia by The Charlie Daniel's Band started playing. The timing was just too funny! Love these round tables and hope to see more. You all allow so much respect and space for each person to authentically share their diverse practices and approaches... it is beautiful to behold. Magical even. 😊

Ah! I’m so excited Marshal brought up Shepherds Purse! I live in Texas too and it’s one of my favorite plants to pop up in the fall/winter. My kids and I like to eat the little heart shaped pods, they have a lovely zesty peppery flavor. You could also associate the heart shape and taste with igniting passion.

A timely discussion for me. I’m working out some big magic. And this was exactly what I needed to hear to consider for my own situation from many different viewpoints. These discussions are like a Master Class in magical practice

I just came from The Order of Chaos newest podcast episode and now I'm watching this 😭 Today is a GREAT day!!! 13 people!!! WOW that is A LOT of people!!!!! LMAOOOO "I'm going to beat you with this crystal wand" 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I think it's ok for you to go first sometimes Ivy. Q4. I would call in Hermes, Athena and or Apollo since all of them are related to knowledge. I would also call on Mnemosyne the Greek Goddess of memory. I would include mercury magickal square and it's magickal hour. I don't work with herbs that much but I could add lavender and or rosemary. I would also include the point of understanding the material because there is a difference between knowing information, remembering information and understanding information. I could take my comb and comb my hair with the intention to remember the information, to understand it and to do well on my test. Q3. I would create a spell bag with amethyst, laurel leaves for Apollo, and a small piece of paper with a sigil or the pentacle. I could also do a crystal grid, with my name/picture of myself in the middle surrounded by amethyst and clear quartz and possibly a small dish/cup of water on top of my tag lock since water is associated with the psychic realm. I haven't worked with plants so idk 🤷🏻‍♂️ 99% of herb/plant magick books are useless to me since I live in Arizona. I would like to get into working with my native Arizona plants and also greek plants. For good luck, I would cleanse myself first but then call on Tyche the Greek Goddess of good luck and fortune and give her an offering and such. For a spell though, I would place a pure copper penny (any penny between 1793 - 1837) under a green candle and I would add some olive oil and sprinkle/roll some bee pollen onto the candle and light it and say a chant. Then I would place that penny in a bag, crystal necklace cage, in my bag or in my pocket. Q9. I would do it similarly to a mental curse. Get a skull shaped candle, dress it in olive oil, bee pollen, lavender, and rosemary. However, since it's for mental health I would create a sigil and or add a mercury symbol to the candle. Inscribe the name onto the candle. Whisper into the general location where the ears are about improving mental health. I might rub the forehead and scalp to "sooth" the mind. Place the candle on top of a signature and or picture of the person, create a small crystal grid of amethyst since it helps with the mind and Clear quartz to help with clarity and to amp up the energy. I might petition Apollo and or Hermes to please help this person. Crystal grids are underrated!!!!! For fast magick I would say, elements: Fire and Air; Herbs: Peppers, coffee, cinnamon, bee pollen, anything spicy; Greek Gods: Hermes; Planets: Mercury; Metals: Copper, silver. This was so fun!

Question: I've been seeing a lot of info lately saying that people in a functional freeze state should not meditate, but I know it's a highly recommended practice for magical and non-magical alike. What is your take on this or are there meditative alternatives to improve awareness/discernment that aren't typical meditation? I'd love to hear your advice on this, Ivy. Thanks. 🙏

Very cool! It's funny I'm an INFJ and I can't but study peoples body languages lol! Some people I noticed were generally respective to what they were listening too or agreed with it, and some were not even if they were unconscious about it, not to blame anyone. I think us as whole immediately try to find someone we can resonate with and for me personally the energy I was drawn towards and felt comfortable with was Aster.

I'm so sorry! We had this planned months ago... 😫💔 And Part 3 has already been filled. We also had a really long conversation and we have way too many eclectic witches & folk magic practitioners on the panel. We desperately need more ceremonial magician representation. There were sooo many people reaching out wanting to be part of this and it just becomes completely unmanageable with so many people on the panel. We decided to close the panel after filling Part 3. In addition, Australia is the one part of the world we can't add to the panel due to time zone issues. We film at 9am PST (which is the only time that works for everyone across North America, South America, and Europe) and that's 2am Australian time. Anyways, I hate to exclude anyone because it breaks my heart but I hope you can understand! ❤️ This panel has turned out to be WAY bigger than I ever thought it would be. It has become extremely complicated with so much interest.
