I once met an amazing mr talk too much with talent I couldn't imagine before. Half an hour after meeting him I was at his place watching VHS tapes of him flying and I barely avoided having lunch with his wife and kids. I don't think I said five sentences the whole time :)

Im still really new to the hobby and have really gotten into it! I have no friends to talk to about it so when my little brother comes over I spend a good hour talking his ear off about my home made foam board built planes or settings on my spectrum controllor and all of it is foreign to him😂. I then relize I've talked way to much and I could keep going so I shut up.

suggestion for part 3: the "butter landing" guy. He always says that he did a landing better than you, and that he can consistently land his plane smoothly. When you ask him if he can show you his landing, he always finds the worst possible, and overspecific excuses ever. He will tell you that his transmitter isn't working properly, yet his transmitter is brand-spankin new. If you offer him to fly your plane, he will either crash it, or he will fly it so far out that the plane goes missing, and if he tries to land, your planes goes into 7 parts and his excuse is: "Well, i'm not too familiar with your plane"

You forgot the “know it all” he is the guy sitting in the lawn chair with an extra large hat on since he has no plans on flying, but has something to say to everyone who walks off the flight line. That one is a special breed. And ofcourse, the newbie, who usually needs help with everything, has to fly with a buddy box, and is rocking the Apprentice like it’s a top tier Tesla.

yup, want to see a part 3. The club i'm in here is mainly retired 65 yo+ . Theres one guy thats younger than me (42) that works for a rc motor company and flys 3d. The others pretty much all fly electric gliders. Oh, and one older guy flys edfs. The field is slightly bumpy (yet usualy mowed) and i've been told that if its to bumpy, get bigger wheels, no matter the size of the plane :D Maybe this can help for part 3 :D keep those videos coming. Been in and out of the hobby for years. Finally got a job that pays enough and am thinking about getting back in. Done mostly quadcopters but I'm feeling the vibe of fixed wing. Might get the Freewing F-4 or F-22.. IDK, that F-15C they make is pretty sexy too.. And the B-2.. We'll see.. Regardless I want to do a head-tracking setup and maybe even incorporate a HOTAS.. I'm a big DCS fan so that sounds like the next logical step. I'm a mix of the "Soverign citizen/ Self designated FAA" from the last video and pattern flyer. I don't actually break the rules, mostly because I suck and I want to see where I crash so I can get my electronics back.. Cuz I'm gonna crash eventually, lol. But I also see it as a 2A violation to regulate drones/RC in any way. They're a viable and widely used weapon system therefore their use is protected under the second amendment and it shall not be infringed. I SHOULD be able to fly 50 miles in the middle of nowhere, the fact they care is in fact the problem. Not that people are doing it. It's a concept Thomas Jefferson called "Dangerous Freedom" and I prefer it to peaceful slavery.

One more type - the "silent public intruder". My local field is adjacent to a road and has no built up pit area, clubhouse or any sort of controlled entry. So anyone can park up and wander in to see what is going on. I once thought I was alone at the field only to land, turn around and find someone standing silently right behind me. Nearly jumped out of my skin - "oh I seen you flying from the road, thought I'd come in and have a chat". Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have someone interested, but they could be a bit LESS stealthy in coming in. Other times someone has been wandering about the 'pits' (just a bunch of folding tables) and inspecting all the models. Everyone assumes someone else must have brought a friend or whatever, only to discover again that someone just walked in and is nosing about without actually introducing themselves or starting any conversation.

We had a Speed Demon crossed with the "Wanna fly my plane?" guy at our field a while back. Yeah, it's a bit nervewracking knowing that the angry foam wing you've been handed the controls to "Can do about 120 on the flat at wide open." It also wasn't quite a proper weekend at the field without either a spicy pillow getting angry in the pit lane, a foam explosion followed by "Oops," or "Got a new plane, let's see how fast she'll go." Usually some out of the box angry wing coated in fiberglass, reinforced with carbon fiber rods, with the biggest brushless motor he could bolt onto it. Scary thing was when he tried EDF jets and got annoyed because "they don't go fast enough" and started trying to make them into pusher-props.
