Tina Fey played every piece of this conversation as perfectly as it could be played. She's quick witty and understands how to react to not make Craig's commentary seem weird unless the only correct play is to lean into the awkwardness. Mad respect for her.

it is crazy to see when two talented people interact with eachother in this manner !
Finally! A guest who can go toe-to-toe with Craig! 🤣

she deffo matched him on this one
Two uniquely funny people from two entirely different comedic upbringings. Tina comes from improv and Craig is a stand-up who carved his own path early and wound up... wherever. It's kind of fascinating watching them parry off one another.

yeah. it is pretty fun watching craig in most of his interviews. in this one even more because they are both pros at comedy

If Craig isn't a master of improv as well, then I don't know who else is...
He won me over with the 'our love is forbidden!' I mean who doesn't love Craig and Tina, but that was great improv!
What a natural beauty.

WHITE IDENTITY RACISM IS BEAUTIFUL TO SOME people evolved in Africa, from one common ancestor, a couple hundred thousand yrs ago Over time, some people walked out of Africa and spread across the world. The branches of the family that spent thousands of years in colder places without a lot of sun … eventually they lost much of their melanin and turned a bunch of different shades, depending on the conditions where they were. … the king of Portugal had hired Zurara to write a biography of the king’s uncle - Infante Henrique … better known as Prince Henry the Navigator -1st major to exclusively enslave & trade continental Writing in 1453, Zurara chronicles & glorifies Prince Henry’s voyage, a decade before. In describing resulting slave auction back in Portugal, in 1444…Zurara lumped together different-looking captives So Zurara portrayed slavery as an improvement over freedom in Africa, where, he wrote, “They lived like beasts.” They “had no understanding of good, but only knew how to live in bestial sloth.” Zurara’s writings were widely circulated among the elite in Portugal…& their ideas about continental Africans…led the way as human trade expanded among west Asian countries like Spain France & England west Asian Africans [post Zeus' mistress Europ] slave traders [military order of Christ] commissioned the invention of this sort of codified racist idea, of Black people [from south of the Sahara, Africa] 1450s - pink-beige west Asian European Africans fashioned 1682 white in the colonies that became US kzread.info/dash/bejne/dX6YtpiKk7bIgZM.html In 1682 … the first legislative body in colonial America The Virginia House of Burgesses passed a law limiting citizenship to Europeans - making all non-Europeans - “Negroes...” aka in English "BLACKS" as the law put it - quote, “slaves to all intents and purposes.” the 1682 law included the first documented use in the English-speaking colonies of the word “white” [vs English European or Christian] to describe [brown to lightest pink-beige west Asian Africans aka Europeans] considered full citizens. Racism is racial prejudice that has been incorporated into the activities and procedures of major institutions, corporations, social systems (such as those related to housing, education, and health), and other arenas of major social activity (such as politics, the media, finance, and banking) Racism serves both to discriminate against ethnic minorities and to maintain advantages and benefits for west Asian Africans colonial government invented "White" Americans ~ descendants of mt-MRCA -- darkest brown to lightest pink-beige All living humans descend in an unbroken line purely through their mothers, & through the mothers of those mothers, back until all lines converge on one woman -- mitochondrial eve we became a species ranging from the darkest brown to the lightest, pink-beige, and everything in between … shades of brown with an array of yellowish and reddish tinges kzread.info/dash/bejne/iZOstqlvhrvSebQ.htmlsi=m0W6oR4Xxipv14EB kzread.info/dash/bejne/dX6YtpiKk7bIgZM.html exchange.prx.org/pieces/218457?m=false

This works so well because you can tell they not only like each other, they respect each other. Craig likes to sort of side eye and wink at the camera if he doesn't respect someone, he never took his eyes off her.
This is where I learn what to do on first dates!

I love Tina Fey so much.
It’s almost 14 minutes video and not one second I was bored. Love both of them 👌🏻
Two of the most witty and funny people ever...add Robin Williams and it would be non-stop comedic brilliance. 😊
It's so much fun to see 2 very smart people have a conversation. Add in that they are 2 of the funniest people in the World, and one is a true beauty, and you're off to the races. America is a lesser place without Craig and Tina on our TVs.❤

Tina’s style of comedy is much more self-effacing than most modern American female comics. I’ve always enjoyed her willingness to poke fun at her own foibles. It’s something you see a lot more in British comedy than American comedy.

Low-key ironic that Craig claims social media isn’t like heroin. I suppose the fact that most people think social media isn’t really an addiction DOES make it SLIGHTLY different from heroin
Cheers to whoever wrote the captions. “Robot snake” or “robot’s neck”? You decide!
Love Tina Fey!!!
Judging by audience response and my watching, great humor from two different styles, so well pulled off they didn’t need to degrade into blatant innuendo.
I wonder how many people caught the Robert Burns joke.

I think she’s really talented at playing off others and making it funny even when it’s not her own style, but I don’t think Craig’s flavor of comedy is her flavor of comedy. (And that’s fine.) What’s funny is that her mannerisms and vibe remind me a lot of Kristen Bell’s spots with Craig, but I think Craig and Kristen have much more similar taste in comedy.
It’s weird. Every time I see Tina Fey I say; hey, she looks exactly like my ex (well, one of them). It’s like, it’s impossible to be so similar.

First, Tina Fey is a legend and I appreciate you posting this very much. However, I have a recurring issue with your videos. Before each clip ends, another thumbnail appears dead center of the screen, completely obscuring whatever is happening. This is extremely frustrating and I hope you'll consider eliminating this "feature" in your future clips. Thanks again.
