The average American makes around 50k so the average housing should be priced accordingly. This is the problem. They let wall street make a market out of housing.

When I quit drinking years ago I met and got to know many homeless people. The shocking thing to me was the amount of them that were homes by choice. Many of them didn't want the responsibility of a traditional life with Bill and things like that.

Education needs to improve half these kids cant even read. Or even present themselves decently to get a job interview.

When you push them out of 1 area they go to another area and the cycle repeats it's self

I am from California and have been living in Vegas for over 2 years now. You DO NOT want to end up like California. This problem must be stopped now. Do not enable these people and allow them to run rampant. Do not allow camping/RV parking etc. anywhere. Crack down on meth production and dealing. Ban pan handling and sentence severely for crimes. If Vegas does not do this, it will become San Francisco, Oakland, LA. Trust me, those places are unlivable now. It's not a housing issue. It's a drug issue, mental health issue and an issue of people who just want to live on the fringes of society and not live normal productive lives.

Why would they fix the homeless problem they would be out of a job Its a billion dollar industry

Don't forget greedy landlords, They want to push the low income social security renters out and it is happening and it sucks next stop the streets that's where you'll find them !

Why have enforcement follow you after outreach? Identifying documents are needed for housing and to get help. Can’t do that with ids. MORE team don’t you feel defeated you don’t have housing to offer? Some of you have worked successfully in past housing efforts and have seen what we can do as a community. How does this not hurt your heart?

Rents so high , minimum wage is 11.24 an hour , it’s up to property managers up to them if they will let you lease not if you have money or good credit. Nevada state should help more for everyone hit by Covid and lockdown Nevada was locked down in March when the government locked down every state in may . A lot of people still waiting for their unemployment checks. It shouldn’t be the organization helping it should be the state . The state has buildings empty make it a homeless shelter.

What's being done to address homelessness The WEF has a policy called "Zero Poverty " Question What would you do to get to ZERO? in the World? Would Co2 reduction have anything to do with one way.

This looks like insanity to me! BSC! BSC is needed now more than ever! It IS a great mostly effective solution to this issue. It is being kept under wraps. Jeez, I wonder why?!

I like being homeless it's a choice I made a long time ago I feel free like my indigenous people use to feel before the European white people came and saw different that it wasn't right to sleep under the stars it's a choice I made I have a full time job and early in the morning I wake up in prayer and go to the rec center to shower and go to work like every American citizen who pays federal taxes at the end of the year all I ask is not to judge and mind your own business and I don't ask anything from you just leave us alone

Vegas isn’t doing nothing to help the homeless this video is a crook of crap. My Mom passed away I’m disabled and have not been offered no help! I actually lost my job a good job I got in October because of my homelessness. All I see is Main Street full of tents Salvation Army doesn’t help with placing homeless in housing unless you’re a veteran. I tried Help Of Southren Nevada was turned away all while there placing who they choose into hotels. I want help I’m willing to work. I have a car but yet nobody has offered nothing. They take you to the CourtYard were your away from society. Vegas thinks they can just for get about the homeless population and ignore the issue it’s just going to keep getting worse because if Vegas truly cared all the money the federal government gave them people would be housed we have a homeless population of what about 6500 people the government got millions why aren’t people housed that want the housing and help. So I call bill crap the more team is a joke.

I see them cleaning encampments all the time!

Catholic charity does have showers that people can go to , but not hot showers.

Those numbers are not accurate guaranteed much higher especially in the tunnels.

You have to prevent it at the root cause. The best cure is prevention !
