You presentation and communication skills are outstanding. You think for the viewer, Excellent. I was fairly comfortable with tables, used to do them a long way, you showed such a simple way around. 👏 Thank you for text to table and the draw and erase tip. I have found the following lesser known features helpful as well: 1.) I find the “Web Page” view helpful when dealing with large tables like that at 2:27 . It can be found in the bottom right corner to the left of the zoom. 2.) If you need more room for a table you can create a page as a new “section” twice to isolate that page and then landscape the page by itself to make more space landscaped. Thank you @Dr Nitin 🙏🏽.

In table last cell data comes in another cell in next page. Example: serial 21 last cell, some of its data come in next page under serial 21 cell. How can I stop this break?

Is it possible to show 3 paragraph in three row just like your no. 1&2 tips?

Hi Sir, I have tried all of your tips and tricks for trying to control the fixed widths of cells, columns and rows. As well as unchecking all the options that relate to auto controlling the cells under the table properties. However, no matter what, I will always get the resize icon when I hover over the lines or grid where the columns and rows meet. Anyone in the company editing this file can accidentally or purposefully resize my fixed columns and rows. Is there any way to get rid of the resize icon permanently? Also, I get another kind of icon when I hover at the very top of the tables just outside the last column. If I click this icon, the cells Go wherever they want and the table gets messed up completely. I cannot find a tutorial on how to solve these issues. Is it possible or a dead end?

It is not "resize icon" it is table selection icon. That is by design and cannot be disabled. If you want to capture tabular data without people changing the structure, use Lists. I Have a question: I have a document which contains around 50 + tables and all tables are so scattered I want adjust all the tables using autofit to windows and also all tables must have similar height and width how can I do that ? I used Module command to select all tables at once but still some options in layout tab get freezed , help me to solve my problem

Hi @rutvikkale573 You will have to write few lines of VBA code for this. In the code, you go in a loop through all tables. For each table - AutoFit to window (this will make all tables have the same width) and distribute rows. Try it out. Do you know how to write VBA code? If the tables spill to next page, this will not work properly. Option 1 - Make two columns. Add two tables. Before the second table add a New Column section. Option 2 - Create a table with 1 row and two columns. Add separate tables in first and second cells.

why some tables do not joined up when they have jumped to the next page even there is no page or section break?

Hi @jagPhil2008 Because the Table Options - Row settings - Allow row to break across pages option is inactive. The row which went to next table needs more space than what is available on the previous page. One of the majr problem is skipped in this video is how to automatically adjust the cell of a column based on the text written inside it. Word is not intelligent enough unlike excell where we have an option for text wrapping. In word the long text is getting hidden instead of autofitting.

Thanks @souravde6116 for the feedback. Select table - Layout - Autofit to Contents. Now it will adjust width while you are typing. Text wrapping - Layout - Properties - Cell - Options - Wrap.
