But my model is Samsung Galaxy M31
I've been taking y'alls advice for my Samsung S9 for quite a while now and you've never steered me wrong, even when I screwed something up and had to do a reset and start over you always have a video to walk me throught it. Thanks Guys!
Thank you!! Some of this I knew. MOST of this I didn't. I've been charging my phone pretty often. This should help. Thanks again!!
Thanks Guys! I just purchased a new battery, came across your channel, liked and subscribed! So much useful information... I'm sure this new battery will last longer thanks to you!
Ty so much for these videos! I like to know as much as possible about my phone and the way you both present it, it's simple and you explain what and why!! I've been a subscriber for a while now & truly appreciate what you both do 🥰
Fantastic video! Extremely clear, easy to follow steps; concise; well-spoken English (apart from _devoice_ 🏴☠😂) with some humor to boot. Wish more tech vids were like this one!
Followed along and did 90%+ of your recommendations. Thanks!
Silver surfer here ( 70 years old). Your tips are invaluable and easy to follow for us “wrinklies”. Thank you.
I thought I was on top of things on my phone but you guys really educated me on several things necessary to improve my battery life etc...Subscripting right now!... thx 👍
Turning off 5G really does save a lot of battery I reset my Google Pixel a few times thinking it was a issue with Android itself but I looked up 5G coverage in my area and I only get fair 5G coverage in my area and as soon as I made 4GLTE the default my battery has been lasting way longer because it's no longer looking hard for that 5G signal so if you don't have good 5G in your area definitely turn it off because it really does drain a lot of battery.

I have a Samsung regular S10, and I love it, because it was possibly the last Samsung model to come with everything included, including a headphone jack. I have incorporated almost all of your battery saving tips during the last 2 years, and recently noticed one day that my screen time was reading 7 hours and 29 minutes, and I still had 13% left. Not bad, for a 4 year old phone! You guys are the best, and keep the learning fun, too! Thank You! 🤗
Thank you guys i can see the dofference in my battery life already before i would loose one percent every 4 minutes now its more like 6 or 8 soo you help quite a lot. Thanks again.
Thank you for your videos. Well done, going to the point, easy to follow.
Thank you! You guys are great and fun to watch
I just came across your site and subscribed. As old fuds and the last human beings on this rock without a smart phone, we just ordered a Moto G Power and will make good use of all of your tips! Thanks so much for your efforts in helping the technically challenged.

Great video! You missed the screen resolution options though. You can set it down from 4K to HD and save a lot of battery.
Great video,thanks guys!
Very helpful, thanks.
All your tips are way beneficial and thanx a lot ❤
You guys are geniuses!! I had NO IDEA these things were even on my phone!!
GREAT video, helpful and infomrative, thanks for doing this!
I have an LG 158VL Tracfone. It has very few of the settings recommended to be turned off for battery saving. I have just replaced the LG 45F1F battery and notice that it seems to be discharging rather quickly. I have uninstalled a number of apps and changed display settings, hope that helps. Want to avoid getting a new Tracfone and transferring contacts, etc. It may be that the new battery needs a number of charge/discharge cycles to develop full capacity(?) Apparently not all android phones have same settings.
Nice work boys, thanks for the tips
Thanks for sharing friends. Learned a lot. - new subscriber.
Really EXCELLENT presentation guys. Extremely informative and easy to follow advice.Much Appreciated. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for sharing this information. I know these simple changes will give my phone more battery life.
You guys rock. I had no idea about any of this. Please teach me more.
Thanks for the easy to follow tips you presented here!!I managed to do everything except the tip about motion smoothness? Never found it on my Samsung S10, but like you said, not all things might be addressed here.

Subscribed! Thank you for these amzing videos! Who's Bixby?! lol
My Motorola phone is not set up/setting are not the same as you are showing but I did what I could. Now I'll work on my hubby's phone. Thanks for all the info. :) Hubby's phone has even less so didn't make any changes on his :(
Love the channel! Just worried if I turn off or change something I may not know how to enable it again? But I have done a lot already. Like not letting YT and others save history or ad preference. Hate when I look or I order something. Then I start seeing ads after the fact. Didn't realize how many apps run in the background, or had access to my cam and mic. It gets deep in that setting and the developer's access. Android THANKS, SUBSCRIBER!!! Maybe some PC help too?!!!
Gracias ,amigos. Great tutorial❤
If your only next options are 4G/3G/2G should you select these or leave in on 5G/4G/3G/2G?
Love you guys
So what does software updates and obsolescence have in common? My phone gets slower after I do updates.
Josh Homme on the right? Ok, good phone knowledge mate!
Thanks 😊 we needed other videos battery 🔋 like
Thanks😄
Truly helpful,
Thank u guys
I had a Samsung phone and I upgraded to a Motorola phone and it's running so much better than all the Samsungs I ever had combined. To get to my point. This video that I just got done watching I followed along with everything even made footnotes and went back to do these different settings to get more battery life and preserve my battery. Basically the majority of these have nothing to do with Android it has to do with Samsung software not Android software just wanted you to know that. There were a couple that were very beneficial I thank you
out of the ones of these i have, most were already like you suggested!!!
Thank You
Hey, mine says global or lte/cdme Google will not allow me to limit microphone use. It's either deny or always on. I use my hands to drive, but only want the microphone when I need it!!
Thank you for the video. Just subscribed! Question, my memory lately has shown higher than normal. Meaning usually shows 1.8 gb out of 4 gb ram, lately out of nowhere it's been showing 3gb out of 4gb. Why would this happen and how can I fix this? Please and thank you
Hiya guys great work, I have a Samsung galaxy s20 fe 4g and no matter how many times I turn adaptive brightness off it just turns itself back on a few minutes later I'm wondering if you can help
Thanks you guys you are awesome Hopefully won't have to charge my phone as much as I do
It's won't allow me to disable Bixby Voice access for microphone, location and camera. Seems odd..
wouuuuuuuuuuuuu!! awesome content ... I have a Huawei P20 lite ... I does not have some features like on the video ... however I manage to to most of them ... Mucha gracias!!!
All these tips are great, except, I have a Moto Z 4, and can’t find half the setting you are talking about?
Awesome! Very helpful 👍. Thank you.
I've got Android 10 and some of my settings are different or not there ! How do I change the icon shape on a Nokia 1.4, It's not in Developer Option's, Thanks !
I have a short term memory problem, can I but a hard copy of this?
Thank yall so much I'm old and have a very hard time 💓
Good video.
Thanks D&D, your tips are much appreciated, from an old fart who can use the phone to phone and not much else. I gladly subscribe for all your help. :))
I am functionally illiterate when it comes to smart phones , basically only use mine as a phone , voice text , camera and juke box , thanks for all the tips my battery was going dead overnight and wasn't charging correctly . PS - I subscribed .
Awesome video
Hi..what's the difference between adaptive power saving and adaptive battery? Can I leave them both on? Which works 💪?
@Empwuznal
9 ай бұрын
I tend to leave both on as well. Don't know about adaptive battery but the power saving works beautifully
I go back and forth on updating apps. sometimes I will only update an app when they come up to a major whole number update because I feel like it is at least substantial at that point. but every now and then I'll update one of my apps when I see that it has a point number update because I think oh they must be improving it lol at the end of the day I kind of update my apps individually as needed 🤷🏽♂️
Dave & Dave how do you turn your apps from Active
What Android version are you guys on? I'm stuck on v9 and most of my settings don't correspond with yours.
Any way to get these steps like a written page to follow?
hiya! does out-of-date apps drain your battery? thank you!
thanks
Do you guys have anything relevant to the Samsung A53 5G? I can't find half of the stuff that you are showing here.
Some of these settings i didnt have. Im using a zte blade 11 with android 11 and the ones i did have i already had set
So I see you guys don't recommend power saving mode anymore what about adaptive power saving?
you guys used which smartphones? can you tell me the names of these two phones
On my Galaxy S8, there is the GLOBAL: LTE/CDMA and the LTE/GSM/UMTS. This seems to be the only thing on this version. What about a choice here in place of "preferred network type", which is not an option on mine?
@Evan-xs8ts
2 жыл бұрын
The s8 doesn't have 5g since it's so old
I don't have motion smoothness on my A71 5g, why???
Awesome
What the craziest of all is that when I bought my phone and I was setting it up Google asked me if I want to use my microphone and I said no. Now I went to see if it's actually off as you guys have suggested and it was on always allowed wtf 😱
My Huawei settings menu is so different! Still a great help though.
Can you do one for the iPhone?
With low light now I can't tell what you doing or how to find the frame rate what ever you said on my motion 5 g stylus. Ugh.
