That line in the second couplet is a lot like ‘why you no love me’: “hurt me once i’ll let it be, hurt me twice you’re dead to me, but three times makes you family, why can’t you see?”

I have listened to this album hundreds of times and have not heard this until now… why is this not on Spotify

Super chill. A song that I can listen to even when I'm in my rocking chair days.

If none of you know why John Mayer has changed his sound, lifestyle, and appearance then you must go read the interview he recently had with Rolling Stones magazine. Although I do miss John Mayers contemporary blues-rock sound. His new sound is passionate and shows another side to him that none of us has seen. Thanks John for another amazing album!

It was a bonus track originally only included in the Japanese release. But you can also get it if you buy the album on iTunes, or listen to it on Apple Music.

i love what i am hearing. it's like john was sitting around one day listening to Ray Lamontange and said, "hey i can do that, but make it my own." so glad he discovered the harmonica. haha just one problem. i have a theory my life is determined by the songs you write. he has a scar in his throat from a past vocal surgery. it didn't heal right, so his voice is a little off. he's gonna have another surgery in like october and by this time next year, he'll have already put out his next album (working on it now) and be touring with both albums! i seriously can't wait!
