It is better to choose as AC voltage, the 16 V option... rectify it and use an electronic step down module to adjust voltage and current as needed to charge every battery you want or to feed DIY electronic kit. I also suggest you to provide the rectifier with a huge heat dissipation radiator: with hight current it generates a lot of heat.

A fuse would also be a really good idea.

Anybody catch specs on the transformer and capacitor?
Трансформатор ват 200 ÷ 12 V=16.6 ампер, минус 20-30 % К. П. Д. (КОЭФФИЦИЕНТ ПОЛЕЗНОГО ДЕЙСТВИЯ) получается 11. 7 ампер и падение V при большой нагрузки ( стабилизатора тока нет) а тут V может сесть вольт 5 а то и больше так что это ненужная штука.

Man, we still have the option of using a resistor on DC output, or a unpolarized capacitor on 13V AC side to limit the current when need charge a low Amp battery.

Not sure why you claim this can yield 200A. Clearly it can't. It's a nice video, just wonder why you didn't state the actual charging current, and maybe display it on a meter.

Not good. It only needs 10v alternating current. After filtering we have: 10v*1.41=14.1v filtered DC current. That's perfect!😜

Falso, jamás podrás manejar una corriente de 200 amp con ese tranformador, te apuesto que puede llegar a entregar un máximo de 10 amp, un tranformador de microondas modificado en el embobinado secundario maneja más corriente, si quieres alcanzar 200amp podes usar un tranformador de los viejos soldador TIC tiene una enorme tranformador que puede manejar esa cantidad de corriente

13volts is not the ideal charging voltage for fully chargning a 12 volt battery, we need 14.2 or 14.4 volts to fully charge a 12 battery.

13 is ac voltage. When it is bridge rectified, 13×1.414 - 1.4 is the dc voltage is going to charge the capacitor. We have to regulate it further for the type of the battery.

@@bparker86 It is better to use a 220 to 18v ac transformer then use a dc to dc constant voltage and current buck converter that can exactly adjust the required current and voltage respectively to the type of battery.
Good effort.keep it up. The capacitor is not clear and which other make is the equipverlent I. case its not seem for me to buy?

Скорее всего 12 вольт 200 ватт. Трансформатор от бесперебойного питания. Какой-то делетант нас вводит в заблуждение

No you can't. The rectified voltage of a 13v transformer like shown here is about 18v which will most likely damage 12v amps. Also this rectifier needs cooling and the cap is too small. Rather take one with 18 - 20v and higher F ratings than this 100v one

Um carregador de baterias, precisa de uma tensão maior no secundário do trafo, devido a queda de tensão, da ponte retificadora, e não precisa de capacitor na saída e sim um amperímetro, com um resistor para limitar a carga da bateria

Кто бы мне объяснил, откуда берется 200 А? При 12В это почти 2,5 кВт! Транс явно не потянет. Мост рассчитан на 200 А? И далее кондер - он что тут делает?
