I wish companies would just give you a ball park timeline for the year of their releases. I make music, edit videos, play games...all the intensive stuff you would want low latency on, but I got a Ultrabook this week with a P series processor. Every two or 3 months you hear about a new version. I shouldve waited. Not too many Ultrabooks have 12th gen and then at that picking the right varient when there's 3 versions with 3 sub-varients and then more still coming out. You got the new one, but not the newest lol. You got the fast one, but not the fastest. All because the timing of the unavailing. We buy this stuff thinking we could get years forward out to find out no these innovations happen far too quickly. The fragmentation becomes worse because people are not aware of the small intricate details of each of them.

I really don't understand the "up to 16TB in a laptop" statement. 16TB have been available for years now, for example one could stick 2 Sabrent 8TB m.2 ssd-s in a 5 year old laptop, no? Heck, 24TB configuration was possible in laptops like Helios 300, which have 2 M.2 slots AND a Sata 3 slot.

It means gen 4 tb. You can achieve about 24 tb in a laptop by using gen 3 ssd, but by expanding the bandwidth the processor can handle thay can now have more gen 4 ports

@@andresm.1390 yeah it just seems like bad marketing in my opinion, since a 3 year old Helios 300 is easily capable of holding 8TB more than they are advertising here for their latest, super high end CPU-s.

Hello, the Intel vPro is a platform built for business and designed for performance, security, manageability, and stability. These vPro platform processors are mainly built for business requirements. For more information about the Intel vPro platform, please visit intel.ly/3SwbV8g. ECC memory (error correcting code memory) is a specialized type of memory that identifies and fixes the most common errors which could otherwise lead to data corruption or system crashes. Also, it will safeguard your important data by automatically finding and fixing soft memory errors that occur more often with faster CPU and memory speeds. For more information about the ECC memory, please visit intel.ly/3Pqq3NF

Trying to use an HX chip for a gaming laptop sounds like a terrible idea. The 12900HK is plenty fast enough and the extra cores in HX chips will only draw power and thermal budget away from the GPU

HX, chip is way cooler temperatures, than the laptop HK and H, because it's basically a desktop die, which is why with higher power the temperatures are cooler tbh. But if you have HK, then you don't need a HX, like unless it's 2-3 years down the line and you need a new machine

Talking overclocking on the new HX.... on a fugging mobile..... I can't tell if this whole video is a joke, trolling, or scam. Unless you have invented portable liquid nitrogen cooling, you will NOT be overclocking these HX. Not on any mobile form factors. Not in 2022. LOLLLLL 🤣
