Yeah it's kinda painful if people forgot about your birthday and triple painful if those people included your own mother. Justin on the other hand wished that Ken would have a day to spend with his family,because it rarely happens as Ken's parents are busy working abroad. Ken was touched,because he rememberd that he never had a cake on his birthdays,and there was even one birthday of him that he and his sister only had pancit canton (somewhat noodles) to dine...then he added that this year's birthday is so meaningful because finally his mom remembers him and called to greet him...lastly,he thanks the Lord for such blessings.

Right. A lot of things happened in the video... And there's a part where Ken cried because he was so happy and thankful that he got a lot of messages and gifts on his birthday unlike before where he has nothing even a single cake, and he even once spent his birthday with his sister having only pancit canton (instant noodles) as their meal. He also said in the video that her mom called her and finally remembered that it was his birthday... Surely a lot of fans cried too after seeing him sharing his sentiments... It is also inspiring to witness a man who has nothing before (financially and even family's attention) strived hard, pursued his dream and never gave up, finally reaching his dream, growing and becoming successful. He now celebrated his birthday on a national tv, received gifts and love (fans even exerted so much efforts to surprise him like greeting him on billboards). And he found another home in ShowBT company, SB19 members and fans...

Nag sikap talaga sya at biruin mo sa dami ng auditionees na nauna pero si Ken napili kahit late na nag submit ng videos nya. From Zamboanga to the big city halos walang kakilala pero ngayon isa na sa pinakasikat na miembro ng SB19. What a story by Ken.

Finally she REMEMBERED that it's my birthday,pero siguro kasi busy sila they have work💔 Parang ang sakit lang marinig,kasi di mo iniexpect from Ken ang ganong klaseng experience sa buhay na naranasan niya kasi the way siyang himarap sa Tao parang ang saya niya. Si Jah kahit na RK siya at bunso, nakakatuwa kasi marunong siyang makisama sa tao, at talagang anjan yong empathy niya.

Never expected this from Ken. The first time I saw him sa mga videos, napapansin ko talaga na medyo aloof sya. Like he's hiding something. Mahirap basahin kung ano yung tumatakbo sa utak nya, and para syang nahihirapan mag-express ng emotions nya. When I watched this, I finally understood the REAL Ken. Naiyak ako sa kwento ng buhay nya, and at the same time I was thankful kasi yung mga taong katulad ni Ken ang nagpapa-alala sa atin how blessed we are despite the struggles we are facing. Those struggles made Ken who he is right now, and the same goes with us. Perspective lang talaga, mga A'TINs. We need to keep on striving, so that we can GO UP just like our chicKEN. ❤

may pinanggagalingan kasi, marahil at younger age naranasan nya ang hirap ng buhay and nao-overwhelming sya dahil nahanap na nya marahil ang matagal nya nang hinahanap.. Ang Cake.. Masaya marahil sa pakiramdam nya na finally naapreciated na ng tao yung kanyang mga ginagawa, yung passion nya sa dancing at singing.

2yr ago pero hindi ko alam bakit naiiyak parin ako😭😭 lalo na ung sinabi ni ken na pansit canton lang kinain nila ng ate nya ung birthday nila😭😭 mahal ka namin ken😭😭

I remember when they're having mall shows back in 2019, he's the only member of SB19 always with no family or even relatives there in the venue to support his performances. Correct me if I'm wrong.

He has contact with them based on previous interviews and he usually says that they're usually always busy. He only has his sister that's in the country but it seems she's in the province as to why she isn't with him on his birthday and TV guesting

As in umiyak ako dito sa school kase break time na namin tapos sabi nga mga kaklase ko bat ka umiiyak... Tapos sabi ng isa SB19 yan siz... Alam talaga nila kase umiyak din ako sa sinong batak dahil hindi ako nanalo, umiyak din ako sa mga mall shows at con nila dahil sa bahay lang ako tapos umiyak din ako dahil I never had the chance to meet them kahit isang sulyap lang hindi ko naranasan... Pero kahit wala sila feel ko they surround me at naiiyak lang ako kase feel ko nandito sila pero wala pala

Mas naiyak ako dun group photo nila kasama nila family nila while ken joining them even without a family member in his side.

Ken is such a delicate young man. Kahit ilang ulit ko nang napanood ito, naiiyak pa rin ako. He is the kind of person kasi na he seems to be so good at hiding his pain with his crazy antics, uncontrollable laughter, and his weirdly cute personality. Nakakaiyak isipin na ang dami dami nyang pasan, ang dami nyang dinadala pero he still manages to smile, laugh, and have fun during their performances. Don’t worry Ken, makakamit mo lahat ng pangarap mo, andito lang kaming A’TIN at lahat ng sisiw para isupport ka. ❤️

I think why can is really soft for Justin is he see Justin as his bestfriend/Brother who understand his feelings through Ken's Action and Words even without Ken realizing or noticing his own feelings and Justin always made sure he shows how much he appreciates Ken. I don't know how Justin became so attached (I don't know the right term) or developed these feelings for Ken. Maybe at one point when Justin mentioned how he used to be Depressed when he was just a trainee and a student with maintaining grades at the same time. Ken might have been there for him through his struggles and became his salvation to overcome his days darks as Ken might have always been in that situation for a long time. As Justin step out of the Darkness with Ken's Help he vowed to himself that he will not leave Ken behind and bring light to the Dark Space within our Hearts and Minds called Depression.

I just happened to stumble on this video because whatever SB19 content I can watch, I do. And this breaks my heart for Ken. Not to be able to see and feel the presence of his family physically. But I know he is in good hands and that he is doing this for his dreams. And the hardwork definitely is paying off. You can really tell Justin and Ken have this brotherly connection. Probably because of their close age gap. But Jah knows how to lighten up Ken whenever he's not mentally present or he's down.
