Beautiful Octopus 😁👍🏽❤💯
These are so pretty and love the octopus as well.
Now I want donuts!
I love the bright colored ones!
Yeah Resin Day.
They all came out beautiful 💙🥰
There still really nice. They look like lifesavers ( candy ).
They are still beautiful!!
Good talent using resin..
Awwww so pretty! 💖💖💖👏👏👏🇦🇺
Love the little donut mold. Very cute even though they didn't turn out like you wanted. Try, try, again. 😉
The amount of droppage you get will depend on the weight of your white. The white I use raindrops as its indicator so the more raindrops, the heavier the white. There are typically 3 levels - light, medium weight, and heavy. Light is typically just a color, the medium weight will typically drop about halfway down your mold, and heavy typically will go all the way to the bottom. Hope this helps. Love your work! Its always wonderful to see what you come up with!
Greetings from Germany :) I love the happy vibes you give off right with the first words. Love it :) being a resinist not for so long and I pick up very helpful things here. Thank you 😘
Wow.I love hoit turned out. Love the colors.
I actually liked the piñata & opaque combined.
Cute tray! Love the middle type

That’s what I was thinking. They look beautiful but at the same time, they make me kinda hungry 🤣💖
HI Julie, Wow loved them all loved your colour combinations 👍 my personal favourite was the Yellow one 👍❤️ Lin
They look like a life saver hard candy. I love them, even if the ink didn’t drop, still gorgeous
Very Pretty Julie 😍 💕
Those are super cute 🤩 💕
Love them
Very pretty.
I think they are all beautiful.Try them again with the paste colours. You always seem too get the colours sink better with those ..Love n Light 🥰
Oh Julie, I love the little donuts!! Even though nothing dropped, they are still gorgeous!! Marvelous idea and great work! Thank you for sharing
Resin is to deep mabe, delicate balance between each different time of doing it iv notice. But so much fun playing till you hit it just right, huh!!!🥰
Very beautiful
You should try T-Rex alcohol inks. They have some really gorgeous and vibrant colors!
They mostly turned out really pretty. 👍 I do think they needed more white ink to drop. I also think that the mix of the translucent and opaque inks still needed the white dropped on the translucent inks to get the effect you wanted. Oh, and with yellow the general "rule" is to use twice as much as every other color if you want it to show up and never place it next to purple if you don't want brown. A sneaky trick to try to avoid the brown is to add a bit of a blue, red, or pink next to the yellow before adding your purple (depending on what color you want it to fade into) to sort of cap it off and keep them separate but try not to add white on top of that extra bit of color to avoid it being too obvious. Also, I think if you do them exactly the same but gave them a bit of a swirl before they set that would look really pretty with this mould. Last thing is maybe fill the moulds a little less? They seem a bit too thick for a necklace. You might need to dome the back a bit if you only fill half or 3/4 of the way though, so that might end up too much work. 😅
Very interesting, experiment. This shape has lots of potential 💜
thick resin does require more white to drop , however you could try the swirling effect to get some to drop
Nooooo you can not leave us hanging x
They are still pretty 😍 but I did notice that the pinata inks (yellow and purple) did mix and gave u the brown. Bit the other ink did not mix and kept their colors. So I like that ink way better. 💚💜😊
They remind me of a Lifesaver Candy. Oh my goodness I love them all. 😍
I have a small donut mold. maybe one inch or so. and maybe one half inch thick. I am going to try this. I think they are pretty!! I may not do a whole tray of them because I don't know what I would do with them...lol...thanks for this idea! I started watching you at least a year or more ago. I have everything collected up now and am ready to do my first pour!! I just have to do it!! Wish me luck!! thanks, mary Happy New Year !!
I love the way they came out! They’re so pretty 😍
So pretty! They look like giant lifesavers! 😂❤️
Lovely : );
Love your experiments. Have you thought about sticking a pin into each color to push little spikes of color into the resin? You could design a shape in each color. If it works that is. Not sure what apparatus would push the color through the resin. I have seen artist inject the colors straight in with a long needle and syringe.
These are so cute. Adorable shiny donuts! I actually like them without the white dropping. I’m not a fan of the blobs.
I suggest you try warming your inks. Might help it spread when added Ro the resin.
thick resin needs more white/opaques to drop I guess. they are pretty and I kind of like the magnifying effect with the roundness. the hole adds more weirdness to the magnification. nice test! you used a lot more white on the octopus, plus 3 layers if I remember correctly.
Could it be because you used the faster curing resin? Just a thought. Still Gorgeous though, I love the feathering even it they didn't drop like you wanted. Excited to see you try again. Thanks for your Excellent tutorials. I really enjoy that you go through every step. So many others do things off camera and we can't learn that way. So thank you for all you do for us!!!
Love them!! I'm new to resin and learning a lot from you 😊 thank you
😍👍
So I don't know a lot about resin but from what I've seen of you're previous videos, if you look at 14:17 where you wipe away the yellow off the side and end up catching the resin on your glove, it looks really thick, I wonder if it sat for too long before you put the inks in and maaaaybe that's why you don't get much dropping for the inks?
You said the viscosity was thick, maybe a thinner resin. Maybe a medium viscosity. How about citrus colors. They would be awesome.
Try gold added
You used the Lets Resin inks in the octopus
Where did you get the donut pan? I can't find one that small. Loved this experiment!! Thank you so much fir the time you take to tech us new things. ❤💖
What about giving the inks a swirl before it sets?
Julie. Love your work and videos. Good to see another Qlder doing so well. Just wondering, where do you get your platinum resin from. I have found myself having to look for a replacement as Art Resin is no longer available on the website. Can you only get it on Ebay.
If you're working with a thinner resin, what does the temperature of the resin need to be before you start dropping the inks?
What would happen if you poured 1/2 & then put in the links? Then filled them in?
Gorgeous. I keep forgetting to ask, what is the name of the pens you use aroun of the-d on the sides of some your coasters?
googled and nothing came up with that brand or it was tin only amazon from america lol
