Airplane is Douglas A-4 Skyhawk. It's painted in Navy Blue Angels colors. It could BE a former Blue Angels aircraft. Pensacola is the home of the Blue Angels and they used to fly the A-4. The A-4 was the type of aircraft John McCain was flying in Vietnam. The A-4 was variously called "scooter" or "zipper". It's a light attack bomber, not a fighter.

Yeah i got excited too when the water came on...lmao. Not too much go's our way now a days. I think Florida has those signs posted that say ,"Give the trucker room" or something like that! I always say to myself that Atlant needs to have signs that remind the 4 wheelers that this is a major trucking hub in America and give us room. But thats asking waaaay too much huh? The A-4 was also called Heineman's Hotrod. He was the designer. The Syriader as mentioned below was a A-1 and was a propeller job.

Containers were designed for KC10 or KC135 aircrafts. Water proof, easily locked, and ease of loading on aircraft.

With all those lovebugs out there they need those window squerters! You are cool and clean in every video mentioning a shower. A lot of truckers are sloppy

I just have to tell you that watching your videos has now led me to take my CDL test and get my CDL again. I drove back in the mid-nineties, and watching your videos has made me realize that miss it. I thank you; I don't know what my wife thinks.

It would be fun to sit in the cockpit of that A-4 Jet Navy plane during a wind & rain storm, LoL. I had a rambler car once, I got it used for a second car and drove it a year while I fixed it up then I sold it and got a new 74 VW Super Beetle coz I was driving 40 miles one way to work to the aerospace center where I was a machinist. The Bug was a great car, I had it for three years. At the time fuel had gone from .36 a gallon to 3.50 per gallon over two years. My bug was one of he few cars that got good millage. In all the cars I've driven in my life, that thing was a blast to drive, except it was cold in the winter, LoL. Have a good holiday Dan.....

Dan - - It is a Douglas A-4 Skyhawk, also known as the "scooter"..... Designed as an attack aircraft, with nuclear capabilities. It is small enough that the wings didn't fold for carrier duty. I worked on the first 4 production models, the A4D-1 early in my Navy career at NAF China Lake, Calif, '62 - '65. Quite the aircraft. I drove truck for a few years after retiring from the Navy in Nov '78. Ran a '76 Pete 359, 13 speed, 350 cummins, pulling a 40' dry van, running 9 western states. Always wanted to do flatbed, but the owner didn't want to get into the flats. Really enjoy your video;s. Have a safe trip to Vegas. Enjoy your vacation.

The Skyhawk just happens to be the very first military aircraft I remember seeing take off.

Man!! might be some alligators around patrolling that area, I see ponds or a pond in the background.

LOL YEAH! they even sell screens to cover your radiator to keep it from being plugged up by them. I was working at a Florida Power job site on our way out they had a whole vehicle sprayer!

Hi Dan I'm very impressive with your driving. I know it is hard job but can you tell me it is possible become driver from Europe in US ? As far as I know I will need sponsorship visa but it is hard to find a employer without experience of 2 years? love your channel and hope we will meet somewhere in highways. Lukas.
