It’s about him asking for help, first without being able to voice it and then screaming it. The whole hallucination/talking to himself scene, not letting anyone know where he’s going is about him acting like he’s untouchable. Finally after he has been humbled by this horrendous tragedy he got himself into, he is graced by these fellow humans helping him, after asking for it.

@TotallyNotBloxxed just put things in perspective...just imagine how he felt having to carve through his arm
I cry every time I see him screaming for help, and his voice breaking, this man was too strong, imagine how happy he was when he found those three people, they were like angels in Aron's life.
The music swelling at emotionally poignant moments really makes me burst into tears. So good.
Can we talk about the acting though
1:21 this scene , behind the hair is beautiful with the music !❤❤
This scene was amazing. Tears running down my face the MOMENT I saw those three people
This story fascinated me as a kid idk why. If anything you'd expect a kid to like games and stuff but i liked this movie it was so inspiring

This scene always makes me cry 😭
I can never sit still when I watch this movie
Teared up the first time I watched this part
the best closing scene of the movie I have ever seen. spielberg look at this
Danny Boyle sure knows how to make an good ending
2:29 “hey wake up!” “hey wake up!”
This guy probably the most badass man on earth, who cut his own hand, he passed a "jigsaw" Test.
The most incredible story of survival!
Lesson: always told your parents where you going at so when you lost for a weeks they gonna think that youre in trouble.
I bet Ralston is still in contact with this dutch family
I felt so bad he forgot his hat lost a hand and a shoe😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
May good bless us all 🙏 amen
Whenever is see the successful rescue scene in a movie of a true story, it always makes my heart pound with emotion
Just thank you at this family to saved this man
I keep looking at my own arm...I wonder if this is something everyone could do or something only some people could do? It's hard to imagine having enough grit....but maybe faced with death...I don't know.

Yes, even you would be capable of doing so, you cant (i cant either) imagine such thing, but i believe that humans will to survive is so huge that unless something is catastrophic like half of head being blown off, you can pull off anything.
Apoteósico, indescriptible, no pude hablar después de ver la película. Final histórico en el cine.
Excelente cena!
Amazing acting and amazing story ❤
este muchacho m llena de orgullo
amo esta pelicula y la final increible
BEST SCENE IN MOVIES ALL TIME
Man is a survivor. The normal human can’t even survive one hour in a desert, let alone no food and water.
I love this move

That why i love Danny Boyle He always use a fantastic song at the end of movie.
The family that first saw him were actually Dutch tourists. The actor who played the husband/father is also Dutch.

Glad he got some help
Imagine being in such an awful situation and seeing a helicopter come to rescue you. I think flying one of those helicopters is one of the most fulfilling jobs k owing you are saving people.
