Thank you! I’ve been trying to figure out why my attempt at ocean waves turned cloudy with no “waves”. This test you did with 4 different methods helped me realize where I was going wrong. Huge help!!

Thanks for the video! Very informative!! I've used Castin' Craft before and found it works best for cells & lacing if it's pushed over another color... Probly why you didn't get the same effect when it was blown over the clear as when it was blown over the tinted resin. Also HIGHLY pigmented... Usually 1 or 2 drops works. Not sure if it effects the performance of it. Thank you for making this video as many of us struggle to get good waves 💙

Great information thanks for sharing this educational video. I have tried Castin Craft and have really good results with an alcohol ink white titanium color with a product called Resi-Blast.

Cool experiment Jenn ... I haven't started with resin yet but still like to watch videos to better prepare myself. Lol. I personally would be a little nervous about using the casting toxic stuff but then when you got some good results with the acrylic paint I started thinking & wondering how it would have worked with the Amsterdam titanium white since it has acrylic resin in it and is the magic touch to get the lacing in the blooms. ?? Just a thought.. anyway I love watching your videos you have amazing talent with paints & resin work !!! I look forward to seeing more....stay well !! 😘😘😘

Thank you SO much Julie :) Yes I totally understand about the Castin Craft cautions. If you are in a well vented area or large room and you just add a few drops then mix it into the resin I think it's ok. I did not know that it had so much toxic ingredients until it arrived. It did give great results so I think just using some precautions when using it works :) I haven't tried the Amsterdam white as I just used the Artist's Loft white but I think any kind of white acrylic paint would also yield great results as it did on the last one. Worth trying out before investing in castin craft if the toxicity worries you. Thank you SO much for watching my vids as I greatly appreciate it :) I hope you have fun when you start with resin!!
