In this video Chris and I head out to a job where we need to remove a giant Tulip tree trunk from the woods that had fallen and crushed the fence. We use the new hook lift truck and the Cormidi Mini Skid Steer to get the job done!

    What was the time to get that popular out of there? What is the weight limit on your truck to pick up? The access that you can get to with that machine iz awwsome! I have watched two different shows tonight that had wood processors that are pto driven.your machine wood be the missing link to loading those machines! Thankz great video!

    All in we were there for about 3 hours. Actual time to move the wood wasn’t that long. The first piece took the longest. My new truck has a gvw of 22,500lbs my pick up truck gvw is 11,499lbs, and the trailer is 14,000lbs. The small footprint of the machine is very handy! I saw those same videos I think and am very jealous! I’d love to have a processor like that!

    I have a video from a few weeks ago of it digging out a pad for a patio #140. And I believe my dealer said it goes 6mph full throttle. And It lifts 1500lbs!

    We call them Tulip around here, but it’s also referred to as Tulip Poplar, or just Yellow Poplar. Liriodendron Tulipifera is the scientific name, they get huge around here and always fail.

    Are you able to load the roll off with firewood and pick up the box off the ground? And can you dump easily?..

  • @DudeRanchDIY

    @DudeRanchDIY

    3 жыл бұрын

    I haven’t tried it out yet but my thinking is yes. I hope to be able to split directly into the dumpster container (hopefully by way of conveyor one day) and then pick it up to either deliver and dump or move to where it will be stacked. It dumps very easily.

    How do you compare it to mt100?

  • @DudeRanchDIY

    @DudeRanchDIY

    Жыл бұрын

    In my opinion it felt much stronger in torque and lift capacity. The Cormidi is also modular, the entire loader can be swapped out for an aerial lift, cement mixer, etc.

    Would you recommend to buy one with 180 hours? Was it easy to get parts for it? Someone said he had one and it spend more time in a shop then on a job.

  • @DudeRanchDIY

    @DudeRanchDIY

    Жыл бұрын

    I had the one on my channel for about nine months and put about 70 hours on it in that time. I had zero issues with it. The track popped off one time and it was very simple to get back on using simple handtools. 180 hours is nothing on those little diesel motors. Regardless of where you live give Wesco Inc a call at 203-847-2496. Ask for Adam and tell him Jake from Dude Ranch DIY referred you. He will be able to get you any information you’d like on the Cormidi machines!
