120 MPH pursuit with your 9 month old and 3 year old on the car! Ford Fusion disabled by PIT / TVI

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Trooper's Report:
On Saturday, April 20, 2024, at approximately 8:31 pm, I was traveling westbound on United States Interstate 40 near the 216
mile marker, when I observed a red Ford Fusion displaying AR (APT20N) which returned to a white Land Rover. I initiated a
traffic stop on the vehicle for having fictitious tags.
After I activated my emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to yield and continued traveling
westbound on United States Interstate 40 at speeds upward of 120 mph changing lanes multiple times, and almost striking a
vehicle in the slow lane near the 212-mile marker.
Due to the reckless driving of the vehicle a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) was performed near the 211-mile marker. The
driver was able to regain control of the vehicle and continued traveling westbound on United States Interstate 40 accelerating to
speeds over 115 mph. A second TVI was attempted near the 210-mile marker but was unsuccessful. The vehicle accelerated
to speeds over 120 mph traveling westbound. Near the 209-mile marker, a third TVI was successful, and the vehicle was
disabled.
A felony takedown was conducted to remove the driver and passenger from the vehicle. The driver was then identified as Jalesha Muldrew, the front seat passenger was Cordelro Low, an infant 9 months old, and
a toddler 3 years of age in the backseat. The driver was placed under arrest without further incident and transported to the
Brinkley Police Department Detention Facility.
Department of Human Services was contacted due to the children being present. The front-seat passenger was also released
without any charges.
Both children were released to the grandmother.

Still using that phrase "failed to stop," eh? That implies that she made an unsuccessful attempt to stop, which is obviously not the case. What's so wrong about stating, "refused to stop"? That phrase is accurate. And please don't say it could "offend" anyone; if it does "offend" they deserve to be "offended."

Followed their instructions to a T and I hope he got let off without even a warning. Even his response of "damn girl i TOLD you!" when the officer was explaining she would have just got a ticket and been let go for the plates if she had simply pulled over whereas now she is getting felony fleeing, child endangerment charges etc says to me he is a decent guy just caught up by his crazy missus. 🤣🤣

City folk call for defunding of military police, wealthy call for defunding of education. Low income citizens say "f* the police" and those who make in a year what you make in a life say "this vacation is going well". Republicans want everyone to have a child, Democrats want responsible people to have a child.

When I was about I was 7-8 years old, my dad had us three kids in his Nissan ZX on the interstate. As he was coming up behind this white car, he said "Watch me blow his doors off!" He then gunned it and flew past the guy. My little sister would've been no older than 4. That was over 30 years ago and she still talks about how that messes with her and all he did was speed up to maybe 90 for less than 10 seconds. I still remember it clearly too. There is NO doubt that the older kid will remember that for the rest of her life.

I guarantee your sister has ptsd because of that, maybe you were old enough to think it was cool. But I remember things my dad did that terrified me when I was a small child. My father was an alcoholic until I was 15 years old. He was a mean and hateful drunk. The thing that mad him stop drinking was one night he came home staggering drunk and passed out, I snuck to his car and found his bottle of vodka, went to my room and drank myself into passing out, it’s a miracle I didn’t die. The next morning my mom came in to wake me up for school and she could barely get me to wake up. She picked up the bottle and went in the living room where my father was sitting all nonchalant and showed him the bottle and said “see what you did, your daughter drank this and was almost in a coma.” He stopped drinking soon after that. But the damage to my brother and myself and my Mom was already engrained in us.

I’m a retired LEO & I had a similar stop back in 01/02. Chased the guy into the bordering county, roughly 20 miles, at high speed. He turned into a subdivision & we turned & turned & turned until he bailed out of the car at about 15-20mph. We chased him & on foot until we caught him. The car was left In gear & continued down the road until it crashed into a mans shop causing damage. Wasn’t until we caught him & got him back to the car did we discovered there were 2 kids inside roughly the same age as these. While we were chasing him the county our city was in called our dispatch to inform us that they were dealing with a 911 call of the distraught mother of the 2 kids. She had full custody & this “father” kidnapped the kids from mom & ran. He thought we were chasing him because we knew about this situation. It was awful. Anyone who puts their kids in this danger has no business having them.

If this comment was sarcasm, ignore my comment. The parents put themselves in this situation. The kids did not. The parents are not innocent. The kids are. With both things being said, of course they’re going to cage more about the children than the parents. They all got medical treatment. But, if you put yourself in a dumb position, you don’t need to be coddled by police. Those babies had no clue what was going on and the troopers were trying to protect them. You clearly are a clueless person and also with that comment seem to be a person who would do something like this.
