    You have to use an Oscilloscope and use Ch#1 as the primary 120VAC as the reference phase, then compare it with Ch#2 and Ch#3 of the 120VAC center tap directions. The DVM meter would need two channels and a reference port to visually see there is zero no phase separation and its just the orientations of the DVM meter probes. The DVM probes orientation will change the test current direction which will give a "false positive result" to newbie techs fooling them.

    Listen u are wrong I think because from the perspective of the neutral wire the 240 colts one wire is counting up while the other is counting down crossing zero at the same time and from the neutral wires perspective the bits are one higher and the other lower
