This is one of the main differences between a cat and dog that people overlook. Dog Logic: I got dry food, he got a steak. We both got a treat! Cat logic: he got 4 treats, I got 3... Time to puke on the bed.

It's sooo good training. If you got a guarding you don't want them to end up poisoned. Or having unwanted objects in their stomach anyway. Plus those that truly decide about the food and snacks are alphas.

Watching this entire video reminds me of training my rottie. Good job at twelve weeks awesome job. 🐾 This breed is so smart and desires challenges.

I love the videos when the dog always seems to cooperate the fact is they practically never cooperate they train themselves you can only control the special commands they are smart and have great intuition

gosh how is it so calm and kind. i have a 12 week rottweiler and she is so mean and will bite u at any chance, i have a fully grown 7 year old rottweiler and she’s the most kindest gentlest dog you’ll ever meet so this new puppy was definitely a shock.

Hahahahah trust me i had a hard time too but you nees to teach them good manners as soon as they step in your house. Its repetition, consistancy and patience but it will pay off at around 1 yo 😅

Such a sweet pup, you’re an excellent trainer. Thx for showing you have spend TIME working to teach/train your dog as if he is in school like a human child. The things dogs can learn is amazing!

Honestly it's alot harder than i thought ! I don't know, i never owned a german sheperd. What i can tell you tho is that all porwerfull breeds are more stubburn that other breeds. I personnaly not recommand a rott or german sheperd as a first dog, unless you really document yourself on how to train them properly. It's alot of patience, consistance and hard work :D

I'm a female who is very much into males most of my friends are drop-dead stunners so it's not like seeing a good figure is a rare thing for me but honestly that woman was hanging her tits in the camera the entire time try not wearing a push-up bra with a super low-cut super tight little tiny shirt if you don't want men noticing that your tits are hanging out. They are one of the most intelligent breeds if you train them early. I’ve had two but I believe that the male was the sweetest meathead you could ever meet. He learned all commands by sign language. Good with children and adults. He always seemed like an 8 year old boy. I miss him so much! Love Rottweilers!

😅 make it fun and interesting for him ! Some pups just dont care much about food ( most of them do tho) maybe he is more into toys ! Or use real treats instead of his own food. Here dry liver or pieces of chicken saucisses are pretty popular with my dog's client !

Good training. eye contact and respect.

When you train your dog to leave it. It shouldn’t it be given the same thing, it confuses it. Leave it, means leave it- you can’t allow the dog to have it. It won’t understand why you told it to leave it then you gave it to him. Give him something else.

Hello ! Thanks for your feedback ! I guess it truly depends how you wanna use the command. I ask him to leave it until i say otherwise, if i say otherwise. Joey is now 4 and i can confirm that if i do not tell him he can have it, he won't touch it ^^ If for you the command leave it means your dog could never eat it, then do not do it like me.

I'm getting a rottie pup in a few months, he/she will be trained to be my service dog. I grew up with this gorgeous breed, and I use a wheelchair and have balance and strength issues, so I picked this breed to help me get around more independently. Once they're old enough and have been checked out for issues of course! Normally I prefer to adopt, but this time around I went with a breeder because I have special requirements, like a certain temperament and need a puppy without hip/elbow issues. Super excited, the puppies will be born soon!

Your dog is beautiful hope they have grown up big, strong and caring having been taught by the best :)

When I’m older, I’d like a rottie to protect me and my future babies. It would make me feel so much safer to have a large guard dog on me whenever I leave the home.. but they take so much training. Luckily Rottweilers are very smart and quicker to train than other breeds.

Omg he's gorgeous! He reminds me of my boy Charlie. Charlie will be 3 on February 23 rd 2017. You're doing a wonderful job with him. They need firm training and teaching. Some ignorant uneducated people think you need to hit them to prove you're dominant. This could not be further from the truth. We have trained Charlie with firmness, consistency, and most of all, love. He is my best friend , my copilot, my protector, and my baby. They are such wonderful dogs. Good luck with your boy ! You seem to have a firm grasp on what it takes to train him so that he can grow into a wonderful companion and friend. ❤

Yeah no problem. I just appreciate people who pay attention to their dogs and it really pays off. I visited my big brother over the weekend and he has three boxers. His newest one came in the room and I like to test a dogs obedience for fun lol, so I said , "Sit." and he sat. Then I told him to, "Shake." and he gave me his paw. Very well trained.

yes i did it all by myself. I learned alot from cesar milan, bought his book i love it. Makes you understand how a dog really thinks. For the rest ( the commands, sit down ect..) . I prefer to call them powerfull breeds, cause i've known chihuahuas that were more aggressive than a rottweiller haha. Every dog can be dangerous, because of their owners. But thank you ! I want to make sure my dog is not dangerous for society indeed.

twan you wont find a pure breed rott for less than 200$ sadly. they are expensive. unless its an adult from a person but you never know if its pure breed. The place i bought mine is in vaudreuil dorion in quebec and it was less than 1000$.
