Mr T. had just done Rocky 3 and was already a recognizable figure when he joined the A-Team. He soon realized viewers liked the show because of him and he demanded a bigger cut in the pay. That didn’t settle well with George who was supposed to be the series main character .

I watched this show as a kid in the 80s. Nothing has ever come close to it. It was a guys guy show and nobody ever really got hurt. Thanks to the youtuber for posting this. Many fond memories!

Even in the official comic books, they improvised all kinds of hilarious ways to trick B.A. into getting on a plane. In one issue where they were trying to find diamond smugglers, B.A. was VERY paranoid and managed to beat off any attempts to trick him. So by the end of the issue, he was seen on the back of a cruise liner, puking his guts out while Hannibal tries to comfort him. LMFAO...

I remember watching every episode as a kid. Those were the good days.

Actually, there was an episode where they'd crashed a helicopter and B.A. was the only one who came out unharmed - the episode where they'd rescued a media-mogul's daughter and Face had to "marry" her. Then, in an episode where they'd gone back to Vietnam to help General Fullbright retrieve his half-Vietnamese daughter; the A-Team had to kill several Viet-Cong soldiers in their escape, and General Fullbright took a bullet in the back from a Cong military officer. That was one episode where the producers knew that they had to have the guys doing some "actual killing" and take a casualty; they couldn't get away with just "harassing 'em into submission."

Easily one of the most fun action adventure TV Shows ever made. A great part of my childhood.

I have a belief that Baracus did have a fear of flying, but he knew his team would need him so he simply let himself get drugged But he wasn't just going to "let" them drug him unless he was unaware they were drugging him

I literally grew up watching The A Team.... I missed all of them.... 😢

You had to be a bit crazy to fly Hueys in Nam like Murdock did. When picking up ground soldiers, their helipads were open spots in jungles with AK-47 bullets coming at them.

Eccentric, extremely imaginative and creative, brave and daring, fun loving, with a whacko sense of humor, but perfectly sane underneath it all. I think the crazy part is an act that he puts on for his own reasons and often for the sake of the team.

I was about to post this myself XD I love the respect and admiration it shows for the man he just drugged unconcious.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Without question, the finest TV show in the history of television. Nothing else comes close.

I love the theme and plane shot after every number xD Adds to the comedy, well done!

Like how the theme song sometimes played each time they got him to a plane. Make such occasions truly worth to celebrate.

Now I realised that point of every episode was not to deal with bad guys and save good guys, whole plot was around getting B.A. on the plane :D :D

This is the best of the A-team, seeing BA getting drugged or knocked the hell out in order to put him on a plane. There was one episode when the plane they all were in crashed, and BA suddenly wakes up and says, “where we at, man?” BA was the only one who wasn't injured.

Could she just hypnotise him to not be scared of flying?

Close. There was an episode where they had hypnotized him to pass out if someone said the word "eclipse." The thing is they were in a gunfight and someone yelled to BA I need a "clip" and he passed out. LOL

It's quicker than driving, not to mention far safer too. Pretty sweet really, and I say this as a Ryanair passenger. That landing felt like a car accident. I was surprised to see the plane in one piece after I got out. Thought it would end up skidding across the airport tarmac breaking up into little pieces around me with the oxygen masks dropping down, and I'd be jumping down the slide on the door once the ordeal was over.

The burger swap in "Til death do us part" was my favorite. Hilarious!

The look on B.A.'s face at 1:52 is priceless.

I have fond memories of this. There are family photos of me and my brother in A-Team sweatshirts when we were 7 or 8, and we had a model A-Team van - black with a red stripe. Nostalgia - the failure to forget a troubled childhood, ah, it's difficult for anyone to understand.

Such and hilarious gag, the sheer amount of trickery and double/triple crossing to fool him was the most memorable part. That and no one seemed to die, oh and they built engineering projects that could make nasa blush after being locked in a garage with some spanner and a blow torch.

The plane exploding at the end gets me everytime hahaha

I named my cat Mr. Bosco Albert "B.a" Baracus, he lived for 18 1/2 years, died last October 18th. He was a legend and a Bad ass with a bad attitude. He lived the way he died. I really miss my boy.

I need a friend like B.A. If anyone ever stepped up to me at a bar or something I could just say...B.A...and he would come over and throw them over a table. Lol.

This show has a lot of fantasy and absurdity built in, intentionally. It's not mean to be taken too seriously. Taking this show too seriously would take the fun out of it.

just realized the old Murdock and the newer one actually look similar. I share BA's disapproval for flying in any 80's action prop. They spontaneously combust! Imagine the risk you take just checking the tire pressure! The tire pressure checker at the factory had the longest lifespan at the factory. Maybe two paychecks at least before dying tragically from kicking the wheel.

In the TV series originally he wasn't afraid of flying. He was afraid of flying with Murdock piloting. Later they expanded the gag and made him just afraid of flying in general.
