I tried some. Beer is gross to a kid. It is not a sugary drink. I didn't even like it until my 30s when I discovered lemon in Coronas at a bar.

@@ConsiderTheCrows The problem is you're drinking "Corana" when that shit tastes like you're drinking battery acid. My recommendation is to try "Blue Moon", it's so smooth and has a orange after taste.

@@ConsiderTheCrows It's an aquirred taste, a sip can't create the dopamine that people learn to understand the taste gives. So a kid would never like it if they only have a sip. It's not a good taste, you aquire and get used to the bitterness, and the pathways remember enjoying it in your brain. The taste then gets good, it doesn't need to be beer it can be coffee, or even something like oysters.

Michael Fishman was actually the third choice. Sal Barone was originally cast as DJ in the first episode, but he refused to get along with the other cast members. When he was replaced the network executives wanted Macaulay Culkin (since he was the hottest child actor at the time) to play DJ. However Roseanne wanted Michael Fishman and she put her foot down on the issue.

The original Roseanne show to me is the best realistic family sitcom I've ever seen. John Goodman and her were perfect as a struggling down to earth blue collar couple just trying to get by.. The relationship between Becky and Darlene was as authentic as two sisters could have. Arguing, shouting, making fun of each other and talking about boys and school stuff, puberty issues, first dates...they covered it all. I couldn't see any acting, (when actors don't sound like they are reading off and relying on the script to give their characters a personality, that to me is great acting) it sounded and felt like genuine emotions when they spoke...it was like listening in on a real family's life...with very witty humor.. Aunt Jacky had her issues with insecurities and choosing bad dates, being at their house to much and irritating Dan. Often hilarious that tension... The relationship between Jacky and Roseanne was complicated but believable as sisters that argued, but undoubtedly needed each other. I loved that family growing up. I still love the early episodes as much as back then. She was extremely clever, witty, and truthful. Her show pioneered a lot. I respect her tremendously for being bold. She made a comment on Twitter, I don't give a damn...The Connors without Roseanne was ridiculous. To even think of continuing without her would make me feel betrayed by the actors that were given a stage because of her. That's my take on it.

I got no idea why but for the last few months Ive been watching Rosanne re-runs and laughing my ass off. I didn't watch it so much when it was a weekly series because I didn't think it was that funny. Now I see it Monday thru Friday in the evenings for a couple episodes on standard antenna tv and it usually makes my day. It hits real close to home almost too regularly. I hardly ever miss seeing it cause it helps to laugh about stuff when you can't do anything else about it. It definitely lightens the load, ya know? Thanks for the re-runs.

They all cracked each other up. Roseanne was an inexperienced actor so that’s why they cast really good actors alongside her. But they had a lot of fun and some great chemistry. The realistic moments where you see real laughter are just one of the many things that make the show relatable :)

@GamingGazer Nope not at all. He was tall fluffy kind and really sweet. Who also rode motorcycles was a hard worker and who also had a such a confident masculinity to him. On top of it all he loved his women crazy and imperfect. You really can't ask for much more.

@xxLoveBittenxx riiiiiighht cuz if a guy that looked exactly like that came up and tried to make a move you wouldn't give him the time of day. Every woman only claims they want a guy like that. When in reality if they guy is broke fat and ugly it doesn't matter how "perfect" thier personality is. The truth is theres nothing wrong with that either, you HAVE to he attracted to your partner or it will never work. Doesn't matter how much money they have if you dont like to see them naked you're not really in love.
