Did you know? Your TV has this little connectors on the back in which you can connect all series of devices in which you can watch cartoons, whenever, wherever, “likeever“ you can, even for free. It’s 2024, in case you didn’t know either.

Hanna-Barbera came up with enough characters in its time to populate a small city.

I loved Shazzan! Saturday morning cartoons in the late 60s and 70s were the BEST!

I also LOVED Space-Ghost,Bird-Man,the Herculoids,etc,etc,..

I watched Space Ghost, Birdman, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Tom and Jerry, Yogi Bear, Droopy, The Super Friends and The Pirates of Dark Water in reruns on Cartoon Network when I was a kid (I also watched The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and it's spin-off Cartoon Planet.)

Top Cat, Yogi Bear, and Huckleberry Hound are iconic characters and they even got their own movies.

Yogi even made a live movie.

For years I had a vague recollection of a cartoon which I had thought of as a futuristic version of Scooby Doo with a computer that was allergic to dogs. But whenever I looked it up or asked about it I could not remember anything else about the show. Thank for solving a 50 year mystery.

A ton of these characters turned up on Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. They were given free rein to do almost anything they wanted with the huge library of Hanna Barbera cartoons. I loved that show.

Don't remind me about El Kabong, that character got me in trouble when, as a small child, I got a small toy guitar and promptly "El Kabong"-ed my kid sister!

I grew up watching these cartoons they were always my favorites

Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound were my favorite Hanna Barbera cartoons growing up as a kid.

Yogi Beer is not an under apprieciated character. In fact, he's very well know. I have even seen parodies of the live action movie where Boo Boo, turns on Yogi and he ends up as a rug in a cabin in Jellystone Park

The Herculoids and Thundarr The Barbarian were my favorite HB cartoons, after Scooby Doo.

I know several characters on the list and some like Snagglepuss are iconic. I watched the heck out of the Snorks.

Top Cat- cool theme song , Wally Gator - biggest alligator in the swamp , Snagglepuss - exit , stage right . Huckleberry Hound - oh my darlin' Clementine, Quick Draw and Baba Louie(along with El Kabong), Yogi Bear and the pick-a- nick baskets were all great childhood memories.... !

I wholeheartedly agree that “The Roman Holidays" & “Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kids” were underrated! I was a big fan of both as a kid & just recently bought both series on Amazon Prime along with “Josey & The Pussy Cats.” Saturday mornings in the 70s as a kid were AWESOME! Btw, I also LUVED the opening theme songs to all three.

I always loved Scooby Doo and miss watching this ❤️ thanks for the memory of these cartoons 👏

Pixie and Dixie along with the Hair Bears have always been favorites of mine.

I loved watching all these shows during the early days of Cartoon Network when it was basically the Hanna Barbera Network.

Why were Huckleberry Hound and Yogi Bear on this list? They're not underappreciated. Heck. Yogi was the comoany mascot, spawned two theatrical films, a fried chicken restaurant and a franchise of camping resorts.

I'm 53 this year and they were still showing them all extensively into the early to mid eighties depending on where you lived .

This was the Golden Age of cartoons

Kaaaaaabooobie. 30 TC episodes? Then I've seen them all

Remember all of them, as I grew up in the 1960s and 1970s.

Top Cat was my sister's favorite!

Shazzam is my favorite. What I found most interesting is when my future wife and I were shopping for engagement rings; we tried them on the clinked them together like on Shazzam. Now, we met in college and she was a Chinese woman from Taiwan.

The successor of H-B, Warner Brothers, had a little fun with the Shazaan and Shazam (Billy Batson) name similarities on an episode of "The Brave and the Bold." Shazam was paired with B'wana Beast, who could create some unique animal mashups, so he created a winged camel like Kaboobi that he rode on in one sequence with Shazam following.

Was hoping you were going to discuss Fangface, one of my absolute favorites next to Scooby. He has definitely been forgotten about and deserves some attention.

How could you forget " Magilla Gorilla, Ojie, Mr. Pebbles, Richochet Rabbit,. Droop-Along ; Squiddlly Diddly; The Goofy 💂‍♂️ s? " and so many others from the early 1960s! I remember seeing these shows when I was very young. I'm almost 70 years old, and I still love watching cartoons! Still, you did a decent retrospective look back in time.

Back at cha with " Dastardly & Muttley ; the Perils of Penelope Pitstop; and The Wacky Races "! We could ping -pong names of obscure cartoons all day long , it's nice to find a true toon-aphile friend! And one who could probably 🏆 ✌️ 💪 on " Jeopardy Old Cartoons Category," showing either brief video clips; still images, or theme music snippets , perhaps?

I even went to Hanna Barbera Land.

I liked the one where he defeats the Master of Magic's attempts to kill him with a very sarcastic "is that the extent of your magical powers!". Great line!

A lot of them are in C. H. Greenblatt’s Jellystone.

I wonder if it's sad that nowadays people are going to know Peter Potamus as that guy from Harvey Birdman whose new catchphrase is "Did you get that thing I sent ya?"

When I was a kid, Dairy Queen used to have a little child-sized coi-operated covered booth, where you could put in a quarter, and watch a couple of Hanna-Barbara cartoons. I miss that booth.

This video brings back great memories. I am a fan of most of the characters in this video.

I remember Snagglepuss from the Laugh ALympic in the late seventies. Snagglepuss was one of the "host of the show' which divide the competition up between three teams. Yogi and his friends made up one, Scooby Doo the Flintsones and the like made up another team while all the villains like Dick Dastardly, Muttley and the rest made up the third team known as the Reallly Rottens.

The only one I didn't know was "Roman Holiday". These were all favorites at 5 am on Cartoon Network.

In the Roman Holidays, the voice of Precocia, the daughter, was supplied by Pamelyn Ferdin who also did Lucy's voice in some Peanuts cartoons and was the daughter in Charlotte's Web.

Year released/ended would be helpful for people that didn’t grow up on HB content.

I've got an orange tabby named Top Cat. Good friends get to call him T. C. provided that it's with dignity!!!

I guess many of these were cancelled, since I don't recall them as a 70's kiddie! However, I recall Huckleberry Hound, Yogi, and Snagglepuss. I saw Top cat reruns in the 90's. My late cousin loved Top Cat in the 60's. I recall Quick Draw too. His donkey sidekick was so cute.

Weren't all these on Boomerang channel? So, not so forgotten. As well, all released on DVD, so, definitely not forgotten. Also, you missed The New Adventures of Huck Finn, though that was a mix of animation and live action...

I can't believe Huckleberry Hound and Yogi Bear are "forgotten" , something else must be going on. Are they even shown on the HB channel or have they been buried among some of these weaker 'toons?

i used to watch Quick Draw mcgraw, and i liked his deputy Babalouie? and on the Howard Stern Radio Show, they used to say , Baba Booey, and i didn't know what that meant, maybe they were trying to remember the name of Quick Draw's deputy and got it wrong one time and kept repeating the mistake on the show, because they would replay the same sound byte over and over again

I always referred to Peter Potamus as Hurricane Hippo when I was a kid. Other HB shows I enjoyed were Breezly and Sneezly, Punkin Puss and Mushmouse, Yippe, Yappee, and Yahooey, and Help! It's the Hair Bear Bunch.

None of these are forgotten by me.

Jana Of The Jungle I Used To Watch That Alot and our heroine was a sexy attractive take on Sheena The Jungle Queen where was her In Jellystone I'd love to see her again come on Warner Bros.

I guess I was lucky since I got to grow up with these reruns when Cartoon Network and then later Boomerang launched. My parents grew up on these cartoons and were always eager to share with me the memories they had as kids on Saturday mornings.

Do not leave out Ruff & Reddy

Wacky Races was great. Totally unpredictable. We used to bet to get out of morning chores if you picked the Winner. First one of our dogs I got to name was Mutley.

MeTV is starting a new cartoon only network that will show a bunch of these.

i never watched Wally Gator, but at 16 58 is that Magilla Gorilla with him? i think i remember that character

In 1973 Hanna-Barbera did a cartoon story of 20,000 leagues under the Sea this is a hard to Google cartoon sometimes it just does not want to come up but I thought it was a great story and they showed a rare glimpse of the sargassuo sea and the graveyard of ships not seen since Johnny quest in the mystery of the lizard man.....

Top Cat ,Snagglepuss ,Huckleberry Hound,Quick Draw McGraw and Wally Gator I miss and would love to see again ,Paw Rugg I remember but didn't see a lot of so didn't recognize the name ,yogi bear had a movie not that long ago the rest I never heard of but then we only had 2-3 channels that we could watch cartoons on and we switched back and forth so we could watch ones we knew

Boy it's been a long time since I've seen some of those characters.

i think i liked Snagglepuss, i think he said, Maybe Even , and exit Stage Right , and some other phrase, oh yeah Heavens to Mergatroid, maybe he meant Mercury? or he had a name for an asteroid in the space between Mars and Jupiter, which used to be a planet, Juno

Sadly, they were all replaced with the adult animation garbage we have today!

"Help, It's The Hair Bear Bunch!", on the other hand, was nothing more than a weak, poor, cheap and flaccid imitation of "Top Cat".

Why are Yogi Huck, Snagglepuss Top Cat and Quickdraw in this list?, they are very well known characters, a betterfit would be Trollkins

i think people think Shaq's genie movie is called Shazzam, but maybe they were thinking of this cartoon when they said that?

Nice video. Although, I personally would not have had Yogi or Huck on the list, because they were among the first of the HB characters, so their iconic. You guys did give props to one of the many Scooby clones with Butch Cassidy, but my choice is Clue Club. Clue Club because its more relatable, especially the characters. Dottie, the 13-year old prodigy is probably the one who stands out in the show, because she's smart, sassy, and spunky. Not to mention having the patience of a saint dealing with three older friends who employ an arsenal of depreciating nicknames...one of which is her own older sister, because they don't want her joining them in the field, because they made enemies, however they do it in a way that makes them look like jerks.

Magilla gorilla, Mr. Peebles, rickoshae rabbit , droopalong, and what about the three turtles. Kinda like the three musketeers.

I like Shazzan more than the mighty Hercules and his annoying satyr. I missed the shows featured in this ep.

at 642 i never watched that cartoon about a Hippo on a ship that traveled through time, but did that character make an appearance on the tv show, Moon Knight , when he died and one of the Egyptian gods was taking him on a ship that traversed the veil of life and death?

Obviously Hanna Barbera's cartoon library is a LOT bigger than I thought it was.

I remember Shazzan. I caught the end of this show when I was young.

Shazzan is one of the great cartoons of the 1960s. I wish they had a new version in which he fights evil force from beneath the Earth, From Earth and from Outer Space.

A lot of these characters got a new life on Cartoon Networks "Harvey Birdman ,Attorney at Law " and Butch Cassidy got revieved on "SeaLab 2021"

Jean Vander Pyl and Henry Corden voiced MA and PA Rugg. They also voiced Wilma and Fred Flintstone. Betcha didn't know that one!?

Secret Squirrel and Morocco Mole, Snooper and Blabber, Breezly and Sneezly, Atom Ant, Ruff and Ready (which I believe was one of Hanna Barbera’s firsts
