I used to think Amed was kind of dorky but the guy is so cool and he really knows his stuff. Now I look for his videos, great stuff! He explains better than most people.

Just a FYI. If any of you have a #1 dead completely battery or #2 replace one for any reason. (I’m the former who was stupid enough to leave the bed light switch on and left it at work for two days until I got home from a trip) You will notice that some of your apps will be missing and most likely the backup camera won’t come on and that app will be gone as well. If so don’t panic. Leave the truck alone for a few hours (or overnight if you’re not going anywhere) and when you start it up everything will be there and function like normal. The system is a self correcting item and it’s amazing. Only need to take it back to the dealer if it obviously doesn’t fix itself.

Two beeping hours on the phone with Uconnect and they couldn’t give this answer !!!!!!!! Their ppl don’t know crap. All they know how to say is take it to the dealer so thank you.

@@shortkshort Glad it helped. Now maybe you can help me. My RAM is the 5th Generation style with the same infotainment system. When you buy these you get the SIRIUS XM free for a year and WiFi. I got busy and here it is 8 months late and I remembered that now, go figure. My question is how you actually set up the WiFi? I don't have a clue?

Ford and gmc have to upgrade there entertainment system. The 8 inch screens ain’t cutting it no more. Especially for the price of the trucks these days.

I've had gmc and chevy 2020-2022 models....uconnecet is pretty solid....no issues yet and GM has their new system now.... Still I can't really imagine needing more than this.....still finding new things weekly and don't have it all the way dialed in.......again ad long as it lasts will be satisfied Mine was built in Michigan too.....

this 12 inch screen isnt what it claims to be. when using google maps you only get half screen.

Which version 1500 Ram is the iconnect on?

I wish the Uconnect systems in Rams, had the option to update maps via Wifi. I'm not really sure why that isn't an option yet.

Love the red on the Rebel but very disappointed it does not have ventilated seat's like other trims levels maybe next year ?

Why I bought a Laramie.....raising the truck is easy, getting interior features after the fact not so much Always buy the interior from factory, lifting, suspension and or wheels is simple to do afterwards Have Laramie with level B and 12".....rear heated and recling seats as well, for alot less than rebel

2023 2500 Laramie level 1.. can I make the backup camera full screen? The bottom half spilt screen is a glaring white, struggle to see side mirrors with all the glare?

Not able to run Uconnect Nav on split screen when CarPlay is active, keeps defaulting to CarPlay Nav. This doesn’t show turn by turn in cluster then.

Can you tell me if when connected to a phone and using Android Auto can the Android Auto app use the full 12" screen or is it confined to just one half? Also if it is not possible to make AA full screen are any Phone apps able to take advantage of the full 12" screen (for example Gmail, KZread etc)?

My Nav says "search offline" any reason why? Thank you in advanced...

2020 Ram 3500 limited here - Android auto will only work plugged in. Way too much data back and forth for bluetooth to handle.

@@ethanallen72 Your right it wont work, however it can handle the date wireless. My daughter's 2021 Audi Q3 works wireless on Apple play, its just a matter of time before Uconnect has it also.
