Genuinely thought when your pump beeped that it was mine haha. Also, I get caught on everything too, including people! Ugh!

I am at the point where I am using a wrench to get my extensions off When the pump went off in the video I immediately started looking at my pump 😂

Great video! I don't have a feeding tube but I would find myself yellind at the screen: "Careful! The tube got caught! Ouch ouch that's gonna hurt!". I know you were acting but still :-) great job! Keep it up!

Ahhh the amount of times my tube has gotten caught on a door knob is crazy and me stepping on the tubing is so bad omg is hurts LIKE CRAZY!!

When it got to #9 i looked at my pump because i thought it was mine beeping 😂

I don’t have a feeding tube but I do have an insulin pump, which has dangly tubing. I can relate to the tubing getting stuck on everything (ouch), and the pump going off all the time in class (so embarrassing)!

A lot of these I do understand only because I assist people with disabilities that have feeding tubes. The only other one as a worker, it gets to be a lot when you have to assist in changing those clothes when the darn tubes leak all over!! Love this video!!

❤️Love you and your humor! I’ve had my peg for nearly 11 years and can relate to all of these. I’d like to add that I’ve nearly fallen out of bed in a comic style when I reach for the pump during the night when it beeps for fun. Also annoying when you forget to charge your pump and it beeps during an appointment or at the cinema. Also when I heard your pump beeping I thought it was my own pump as it’s the same tone but the purple European version (Called Nutricia flocare Infinity). I love how you guys call it formula. In the UK we call it feed.

I have a feeding tube too (actually I have a GJ tube also! I used to just have a regular G-tube but then my stomach decided to go nuts on me!) and yesssss girl I totally agree!!! Luckily some I don’t have to experience as I’m only on nighttime feedings, and I can’t walk, but some are me like 150%! I think the biggest issues I’ve encountered are like meds leaking, and of course the famous #11 AKA milk leakages in the middle of the night! 🤦🏻‍♀️... Don’t you just hate that??? I know it drives me insane!!! There’s nothing like waking up completely drenched in thick, sticky, vitamin filled formula! 🙄... Oh well feeding tube life what are you gonna do right? 🤷🏻‍♀️😂... Would you mind if I shared your video? I think it’d be cool for people to get a glimpse at what we go through daily! If you’re not comfortable with it though that’s okay I’ll respect your decision either way 🙂❤️

I feel so understood! You're a brave woman for intentionally letting all of that formula leak. BRAVE!

I forget I’m connected constantly lol especially getting up during the night. My cat plays w the tube still sometimes. The leaking will always be the worst for me tho cuz the smell :/ like waking up in a puddle of formula n vomit.

Mickey, I love your video's! I'm a medically complicated Zebracorn with a wheelchair, PICC line, and feeding tube. I have EDS, severe Gastroparesis, Dysautonomia, and many other conditions. I recently learned that apparently these lines and tubes make great cat toys... My tube was constantly getting caught on things, or I would stand on it-- then the cat started eyeing my lines and I now pin my tube up using the back pack straps... And watch the cat closely just in case he still decides to attack the lines. :)

With an NG I get whiplash bc I walk away with my tube and my head jerks back so my tape doesn’t rip off. Pump has gone off in class before that’s embarrassing

Danni Sams i have a NG tube right now,, how do you have the guts to go to school im staying at home with a tutor 😭😂

I have an NG tube through my and when i’m putting my hair up it always gets caught in my hair or the scrunchy! Also the flushing feels like it’s raining inside my body. The amount of times i’ve gotten whiplash from my tube is awful.

When you did the extension getting stuck is as so afraid you were gonna bunch yourself in the stomach lol

I was in hospital a few years ago and they put a PICC in my arm but the tubing caught on everything when I would go for a walk or getting up to the bathroom but I can agree for sure even when I was holding the tubing it caught a lot

I've never even SEEN a feeding tube in person and I was going "OW OW OW" at your tubes catching on stuff! Does waking up in a puddle also cause a jolt of fear that you wet the bed?

My nephew is getting a feeding tube soon and this video helped put me at ease thank you. Is there anything you can enjoy for flavor? Like lollipops or something like that? He is 14 years old and can't talk so I want to be able give him treats that he can safely enjoy.

When visiting Your grandparents They have extra formula and blous tube at their house for when you come over

oof once I steped on my tube and the whole thing came out it was within my first 2 months of the tube so I had to go to the ER in my town but they aren't experts at those things so I had to drive an hour and a half to the specialist. I told my friend this and she has a little brother that has one and she told me that she knows how to put one back in. A 12 yo is better than the ER.

This is relatable on so many levels I've had my pump randomly Beep and it's so embarrassing when the teacher was reading a story so i was in my wheelchair and I tried to stop it and broke my arm it's like trying to quiet baby but it's a machine so imagine that your mom and you bring your baby to school and it randomly starts crying so you try to shush it .Also number 11 I've had that done to me that happened recently like a week Ago and I woke up at like four in the morning and it just started leaking and in my mind I was thinking: oh SHOT So I quickly grabbed the end of the tube and shut it closed so I moved up towards my headboard keep in mind that I'm really short and I slept there the rest of the night/morning

As a nurse I have dealt with a lot of these problems with my patient that have feeding tubes. Have you pulled your tube out be accident?
