That 65 yard pass by Milton that was dropped. It was perfectly thrown. He didn't even wind up and really step into it. Dude has a arm and the accuracy on that throw was even more impressive.

I hope so. They're fast, that's for sure. Blink and they are 10 -15 yards downfield. Actually, in a prediction thread, I called this. Said the running game will be featured because opponents will expect Joe to throw. All the preseason hype about his arm has everyone primed to stop the pass. Often, the Cavs had five DBs position in the secondary. Our OL was macho enough to push the DL off the ball and the backs hit the holes so fast, the DL couldn't really react. The same will be done with Austin Peay. We won't see the Joe show until Florida. Hopefully, we utterly embarrass the lizard people.

Defense played great 👍. Running game was solid. Passing game needs some more work. Drop balls, Milton missed a couple of throws. Dee is ⚡ seeing Keyton changed his number threw me off, takes a minute to figure it out when your in attendance.

No matter how bad Florida looks in their first 2 games every year, they always look like a pro team when they play Tennessee and it’s at the swamp this year. Tennessee will have to earn it if they’re gonna beat Florida and I’m UT all the way. I highly doubt there will be any crushing going on. I’ll just be happy if we get outta there with a W

Can’t take away anything defensively from this game. Virginia lost a bunch of starters and were forced to play a freshman with no experience for most of the game. I hope they have improved on that side of the ball but can’t tell from this game.

@@devinw5150 lies, Tenneseelet horrible offenses run up scores and didn’t get to the QB all last year. We were 3 deep across the D-line (more depth). Linebackers were two depth with out a drop off in talent as well. Those are needed improvements that have nothing to do with your opponents talent level.

I said you can’t take away anything substantial from this game defensively because Virginia only had 3 returning starters and they’re QB got hurt and they were forced to play a freshman who had never taken a snap under center in a game. All facts, all true. When Tennessee plays Florida in the swamp, you will be able to tell how much improvement Tennessee has made, especially in the secondary because history has always shown that no matter how bad Florida looks in their first 2 games, they always get up for Tennessee and play them hard so stop acting like a casual. It was only the first game and Tennessee has a lot of work to do before they hit the meat of their schedule. If you don’t get that, maybe you need to stop posting ridiculous comments.

That defense was playing against a freshman QB in his first game with no experience and an offense that lost a ton of starters. Time will tell if the defense has improved. Can’t judge them by this game.

Virginia had 8 returning starters on defense and Tennessee hung 49 on em. That’s definitely something to get excited about. It’s Tennessee’s defense that concerns me. Secondary needs improvement

The offense got some good playing time and experience Saturday to build their confidence. Every SEC team that will be in the mix at the end of the year played HS teams Saturday. Virginia was one of the better teams compared to them. Look who Bama, Georgia, Auburn and others played if you wanna talk about weak opponents.
