8:48 actually, those are lions in the national symbol, not Bengal tigers but the Bengal tiger is the national animal of India. India's national emblem has 4 lions facing the 4 directions and it was taken from the Ashoka Pillars which were located at different places around India Ashoka was one of India's great emperors, he is also known for spreading the teachings of Buddhism towards east Asia.

Hi Nami! Great video again! I'd like to add some points here: 1. The 'Ji' at the end of the name works exactly like 'San' in Japan but is used most frequently for elders without taking their name. It is also used as a sign of respect for people elder than you, your teacher (no matter the age) and parents (although rarely seen nowadays) 2. Bichiya (toe-ring) is worn only by women in addition to the normal ring. However, nowadays, it's not that prevalent or is worn only for completing rituals. 3. Trains: Not experiencing a train ride is a big miss. Sure, there is a crowd but only at the stations. The video only shows trains on high-density routes and in peak timings. Indian Railways offers a wide variety of train experiences. A tourist doesn't need to commute to the office on a packed train. For them, there are multiple luxury trains (you can look them up, they are magnificent) and high-end trains (on scenic routes between the lush mountains amidst waterfalls) and heritage trains (steam engine trains running at an altitude of over 6500 feet amidst snow and trees). How can one miss those?

The rat temple shows you greatness of India.. When karni Mata had begged to the God for giving re-life to his stepson, god would not give her Oh Ok it is granted, but follow me, popular me, he rather tests his/her sincerity.. In hinduism sincerity means talking the same they do, do the same thing that is in their mind... For example, you don't like me, I will ask you to help, you don't want because I will use you for doing my works and then, I will leave or not consider you. You will say to me that you would love to do work and and you will work for me but in your heart you don't want to.. In that way it is fake sincerity. To make sure the world about her sincerity that whether she really loves her step son or she have do to get a popular name, god had kept a condition.... Nothing comes free... Here is history of Karni mata... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karni_Mata How great his her sacrifice......

Yes Nami Ji is accurate. -Ji suffix can be considered to be somewhat analogous to the Japanese honorific of -San. I don't really know if Hindi (which is the language to which -Ji actually belongs) has a parallel for something like -Sama. So in the lack of a word for it, -Ji can be safely used wherever you feel -Sama needs to be used in hindi. Also Mollywood is actually the Malayalam Language movie industry which is based in the Indian state of Kerala. There's also Kollywood (Tamil), Tollywood (Telugu) and Sandalwood (Kannada) film industries in India from other southern states producing movies in those respective languages each, apart from Bollywood. So if you include all that, the number of movies truly sky rockets. "You guys ride the train ?" Yes I do. But for the love of god not like that lol. I'd rather not go than go like that, unless I have a death wish. Which apparently a lot of daredevils in India have. So go figure.

I stay on the outskirts of Mumbai and train is my favorite method of travel for going to Mumbai. So I do travel frequently in the trains. Yes the trains are crowded and most of the times you won't get a seat. But that is during the peak hours of morning and evening. And during these hours if you sometimes get a technical snag somewhere along the route and even a single train is canceled then the crowd gets out of control. This happens mostly during the monsoons. We get crazy rains here. That being said, no people don't travel on the roofs of trains. These are electric trains and if you try to get on roofs this might as well be your last journey. Most of the videos you find on the internet of people traveling on roofs are probably 20 to 30 years old. The reasons for these rush are sometimes natural disasters like flood and storms. It is not a norm. The train you traveled is a long distance train so those trains are reserved and they don’t have such rushes unless it's a festive season.

Others have answerd most of your queries, but i want to add that people don't travel on roofs of train anymore. Most of tracks is now electrified and lines carry 25000 Volts. So surfing on roof will 100% be a death sentence. Plus it's illegal and you will be fined at next stop, that is if you are alive.

The reason for men wearing Toe ring is to say " I'm taken' ", traditionally we won't wear shoes, so they are visible to the approaching women to clear up the air for any intentions also some awkward talks. In old times women don't see men with eye to eye, considered disrespectful, they always face downwards so they notice them. Nowadays these are becoming a tradition baloney. During old times these are for noble causes now everyone wears ring.

Hey Nami! I suggest you to watch Indian movies and review them afterwards. This will help you to get to know Indian work life/culture better. You will really enjoy it So the movies I'm going to recommend are : 1. 3 idiots - basically this movie summarises situation of Indian college students. How much they are pressureized. It's emotional rollercoaster, comedy and friendship. Worth every second! 2. Taare Zameen par - this movie is similar to above movie mentioned except this is about a 8 year old kid. This movie is pure gold 3. RRR - This recently released movie like mix of everything. It has friendship. It has rom-com. It has action. It has great plot twist. Overall very enjoyable fun movie 4. Baahubali 1 & 2 : These two movies are basically ancient Indian Mythology but it is fictional. Both are great but the 2nd movie is much better than the first one.

Why western country people (not Japan) always show india as a cheap country . He could have shown that India is is the oldest civilization of 1.5 million years old. He could have also mentioned that martial arts , medicine , science, buisness , oldest religion were all born in india. He could have shown that before British rule India was the richest country with 27% of world's GDP . British looted 45 trillion dollars which is more than USA GDP (22 trillion dollars ) but no these westerns want to show that India is a dirty country. World order changes by its time and still if western countries think that they could rule the world by sanctions then it's just a myth , greatest example how Russia survived and made its rubles stronger compared to dollars. Biden 👎. I AM SPEAKING ABOUT WESTERNERS ONLY.

@@dreamingofindia2543 why is it considered rude to call someone by their first name in Japan? Formally, they're only called by their last name. I'm just curious.

@@spy1545 It’s not rude but you need to be careful who you call by their first names. You call by people’s first name if you’re really close to them like your family members, close friends and bf/gf. Japanese people are shy and like to keep a certain distance from strangers until you get to know one better. So calling someone by their first name when people just met sounds like you’re stepping into people’s private area. It’s safe to call by “last name + SAN” first and when you get to know each other move onto the first name relationship😁
