Hey everyone! Here is a really cool 12 stitch plait. A very nice cable for any project. Hope you guys enjoy.

Items:
Clover Bamboo Straight Needles size 9(5.5mm)
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in Gold
Cable Needle
Instructions:
Cable consists of 12 sts on a background of reverse stockinette stitch.
(pattern is only written for the 12 cable stitches)
Right Cable:
Rows 1 & 5: K12
Rows 2, 4, 6 & 8: Purl
Row 3: K4, Cable 8 back (slip the next 4 sts onto cn, hold back, k4 from left needle, k4 from cn)
Row 7: Cable 8 front (slip the next 4 sts onto cn, hold front, k4 from left needle, k4 from cn), K4
Repeat Rows 1 through 8 to form pattern.
Left Cable:
Rows 1 & 5: K12
Row 2, 4, 6 & 8: Purl
Row 3: K4, Cable 8 front (slip the next 4 sts onto cn, hold front, k4 from left needle, k4 from cn)
Row 7: Cable 8 back (slip the next 4 sts onto cn, hold back, k4 from left needle, k4 from cn), K4
Repeat Rows 1 through 8 to form pattern.

I've done a tank top with the lace horseshoe, but I've never seen the cable version. Do tell!
the way you do it is a mess. Sorry but as a beginner I did not get it
