Gayfake is a copy! WW is not! We all know!

WW is not restricted by an elemental reaction system. So you can use any character you want without worrying about what team comp to use. You can even solo holograme(extremely hard) with 4* characters. The only time you really worry about the character element is what element is boss resisted to.

All the characters, in a sense, are the same characters with just different designs and animations but ending doing the same thing BECAUSE.... of the elemental reaction system. But that's my take on it. But if people want to enjoy that, they can if they want.

Yup I did the first stage of heron on my Aalto with shitty echoes, no wavebands and a free to play weapon. Couldn’t do stage 2 because my damage was too low. If you want to make it work you need to know both the character and the fight inside and out

There's actually more that you could've listed so let me just add these here. *Grappling hook* with it's cool down and utility it feels more of another extra skill alongside echo skills *Dupes on shop* yes we can purchase dupes of regular 5 star characters and even the featured limited 5 star( although on a limited time as well) *End game content* Genshin is notorious for having almost non-existent end game content besides Abyss while WuWa's CBT2 alone probably showed 3-4 types of possible end game contents, again it's just CBT2 *Character gacha animation* so not only does WuWa's 4 star characters have burst animations, but both 5 and 4 star characters have gacha summon animations, not a new concept for gacha games but definitely a "Genshin would never" moment.

@@saydayay5420 well while sumeru also has the grappling hook mechanic it's only exclusive to sumeru and u can't just use it whenever u want u need to be in certain places As for characters dupes not only are there 4 stars there are 5 stars as well more than just 2 characters in ww that u can buy There are many people who tend have completed all the quests and some find the quests boring that's why they yearn for end game content Both game has in game cutsence but only one of them has a summoning cutsence that being wuthering

Our MC is self insert trash isekai harem protagonist that everyone know how strong we are. It's doesn't make sanse. And i still don't understand....what is our MC motivation? What is his goal? In Genshin we know that Aether want to find his sister...but what is the goal of wuwa MC? To get his memory back? It's so fucking lame bro... it's just doesn't touch my heart, I can't relate and Feel empathy toward him. The skill animation camera is incredibly annoying for me in Genshin sometimes. Definitely hoping WuWa will have an option to turn it off.

I’m a Genshin fan and I plan on trying out WuWa, the drama and beef between the two is a bonus and I AM HERE FOR IT. 😩😩😩

i just wish the Echoes system leaned more into pokemon-style creature taming where each Echo had its own power/ability you could harness in combat, ie. like a pet system. Instead they somehow made it into yet another genshin-style artifact system for substat building with all the same RNG nonsense. Also farming Echoes may not cost stamina but IMO it costs something worse: Time. You have to run around the entire map farming them. Imagine having to spend 1-2 hrs each day on Echo farming when in other games you just spend stamina (which regenerates even when the game is off or you AFK) and only take up a few minutes. And at the end of the day it STILL doesn't matter because you still have to spend stamina anyway to level up the Echoes since obviously no one in their right mind would leave an Echo at lv0.

True, and I'm sure many cbt2 testers would point that out to Kuro Games, if I were them I'd keep the same system since it's already a more unique "artifact" type system than what Genshin has. So instead of an overhaul to their echo system they should just implement a sub-stat reroll system, what they could do to entice players to farm a little more and collect more echoes is to have an exchange system wherein we can sell/dismantle unwanted echoes and use the by-product of it to purchase re-roll material that can change the substats. They can even implement a sub-stat selector but at the cost of more echoes of really high rarity and is only purchasable in a small limited amount per month maybe 3-5. I think that's fair enough if they do decide to do something like that and me personally I'd choose such a system rather than a very limiting rng/luck based farming method that could lead to weeks or months of not getting anything useful at all.

Actually there're two ways of farming echoes: open world enemies and "domain" Idk how it's called in WW. The Domain like requires Resin.

It's both. Each echo has its unique ability that u can imply them into combo, but it also comes with rng substat. And for daily, no, there is chance you get echo drop from the domains (which is daily and consumes stamina), hunting echo in open world is just for the bald malders who want perfect stats, and none of both ways guaranteed you a good echo. Cbt only lasts for 1 month (? I think) so echo grinding is really a lot of works, but once ww releases i dont think its gonna be much of a problem

Each echo DOES have its oen ability. Each one has its own unique use animation. The first one equipped is your character skill, the other 4. Act as stats

Funny anecdote. Hoyoverse third game HSR has mostly fixed all the problems mentionef here. Its not open world but because of the stsr wars space setting it can show a waste amount of different stories and ideas without feeling out of place

It's probably never going to happen. The hardware restrictions, especially with today's Genshin would require some insane engineering. I think if anything, it'll probably come out on the Switch's successor.

I get yanyang on weapon banner 😅 quite funny actually hope it doesn't happen on finished ver Edit : The only downside as of right now with this game is the echo system. RnG kinda bad because u need to farm the echo and it's not guaranteed also the problem with echo's substat its bad for casual player because no one wants to sit for 6 hours/day just grinding, if u think it's not that bad keep that in mind 1 characters needs 5 echo with correct substat also just because u get correct subs doesnt mean it will leveled up to the max, no one wants to play with 0.5/200 crit ratio stat isnt it just hope they'll found a way to make the game more attractive for casual and hardcore gamers. Just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

Hmm, personally I think Genshin is no better than this lol. You could literally farm an artifact domain indefinitely in Genshin and never get an artifact of the correct set, with the correct main stat, AND sub stats that roll well. Not only do good sub stats rarely come around, they even more rarely roll well. I just don't see how Wuwa is worse tbh. At least here you're not forced to farm at a snail's pace by that darn resin limit.

120FPS is a massive W for the whole game. Man, I have a 3090 and I can't event play 'that G-game' on 120 FPS if not even further. Man I have games on where I can run on 600FPS but nah, the company has to be a bitch and limit it to poor 60FPS. My eyes get sour from all those low frames. So, yeah. I agree going below 120FPS is criminal 👌😂

I have an opposite experience with 3070, what settings are you running. Mainly because of fps drops, like I get to 120 normally but it dropping under 40 every few minutes (tbh it feels weird running Elden ring at high and have better performance than WW).

Even if less, plunging in Genshin still takes health. Plus, the movement in Genshin is so slow.

Take my word, it is not even going to live up to half the hype it has right now as of 15th May. Our attachment to Genshin is not only just materialistic its just emotional. And not to forget Genshin is already 4+ years old now, so to compare it with a new game is jist funny for the new game.

Well tbh i am mostly a competitive player in 1st person shooter games like apex and cod so more fps on those games are really needed but for games like genshin or wuwa where is totally casual, even if it has hardcore content is still doesnt compete to a pvp shooter in the slightest, so getting more fps on these kind of games is not a big deal, 60fps is alright since there isnt much going on in these games so not a big win if u ask me

I can't wait for the professional boss fight videos. I remember seeing PGR's boss fights and it blew me away with how badass it looked. Alas, when I tried, I was struck with the incurable disease, skill issue. But if you look up Alpha vs the Twins by Blanc, it's just hype especially at Bury the Light's beat drop.

Ok, so the only difference is that Wuthering waves makes things easier, as well as some other things. Take some one who has not played either game, have them play an hour of each, and they say they just played the game twice. Heck A wind based character with a spear, never seen that before. You can even find carbon copies of characters, the video I saw from Ganshin was called Gaming, and from Wuthering we have Lingyang. Ya its pretty close to a 1 to 1 here.

Sorry, but echoes are not better than artifacts. You have to spend 1-2h to have a chance to get them, and then you need to pray they have the correct main stat, and then you have to use exp to "reveal" the substat, and pray that substat rolled good. I'm not sure how this is better.

One of the major reason why i pulled for her.. 1:35 About the echoes, in my humble opinion, i feel that the rng is way worse than genshin. I already hate how rng-heavy genshin is, but ww has way more layers of rng to it. Sure it is free to farm but you could be doing that forever and even longer than genshin. Im worried that i would get burn out faster Other than that, everything else is top-tier imo. I really hope ww will deliver, seriously my hype for this game is off the roof

Echo farming RNG can be mitigated by coming into your friend's world. Its faster to farm and you can always rotate to each other's worlds when the desired mob/boss is on cooldown spawn time

I'm not sure why you'd be farming *longer* than in Genshin. Considering that stats are 100% RNG in Genshin, you could in theory do the same domain 500 times and *never* get a CRIT rate circlet that rolls CRIT DMG, for example. I've done hundreds of domains at this point and still struggle immensely with getting my characters decent CRIT stats. And it's not something I can grind because I'm limited to only a few domain runs per day because of the resin limit. As far as leveling artifacts versus echoes, it's the same situation in Genshin because you need to farm (spend resin) to get fodder. So in my opinion, Wuwa sounds on par if not better...

@@MJDanvers You don't need to spend resin to get fodder. There's literally route maps online you can spend to farm up investigative points that drops artifact fodder for you.

Yeah, all I heard from youtubers for a while was that you'd need to use stamina to get fodder but I did finally hear someone mention what you're talking about. It sounds so much better tbh. Although I was under the impression the materials will run out eventually and in late game, you will have to use stamina. Is that true?

@@MJDanvers No, they don't run out. It resets on a daily basis and you still don't need to use resin.

wuwa is 30% character and 70% player skill , GI is 70% character and 30% player skill

As someone who played PGR, I can say, I quit because of skill issue ._.

That's a drawbacks on engine impact was made like that on purpose it's got being challenged does that mean if you want to use it away to win and get to where you need to go with no consequences and a video game then that's fine you do you I do me

the sad part is hoyo can improve genshin, they just don't want to. some of stuff you mentioned that's not in genshin but is in wuwa, is also in honkai star rail, like interesting 4*s with animations or weapon banner that's not a scam (it's separated when there are double characters), you have 75/25 chance in your favour

I play on mobile. I don't see skip dialog option (WW dialogs are boring) and the MC didn't say a word yet.(played for 1 hour so far)

id say wuthering waves is better in every single aspect except for the storyline, when it comes to storyline wuthering waves is okay but its also confusing at the same time, though this is just minor because in the future the storyline would prob get way better and interesting

The original Beta story, even if the first two iterations were rough, were both better than what we have now. I think the Devs were a bit too openminded with the story rewriting as doing it suddenly definitely affected the quality. If you watched the CBT1 and CBT2 crownless fights, what we got just seems so...watered down.

it will do well first weeks and go down because of how annoying is to play on mobile and since it competes on the mobile market it will go down to either the bottom spots of the top 10 or to 15th, pgr which is made by the same company is very good but is very bad to play on mobile, it loses its niche on the market because of that and most chinese gamers are mobile players, pc is barely a hting there, they would need to do console release too, btw chinese players are on fire rn because of how bad the endgame grind is, is so bad they are already saying it will die on that system, if they dont fix the echo grinding it will surely kill the game, most western ccs like tectone and mtash didnt finish the beta because they are as casual as the people they attack all the time.
